Clara the librarian and Henry the mayor, they decide on a fake dating situation so he looks more reliable to the people. Clara obliges. But both are afraid they won’t be wanted for the right realms or for who they really are as they spend nine time together. I think they missed the part where they were connecting on a genuine front. The only thing that didn’t fit well for me in this one was if it’s a small town, I’d think the townspeople would realize these two had never looked in one another’s direction before and question why now. But other than that, I thought this was a really sweet and cozy romance.

It was cute, but it lacked depth and really a story. Everything was mostly told not shown. The last 50% was just sped through like we needed to catch the train or something.

I feel like if the story and characters were more fleshed out it really could have been something.
