The books she loves to read and write will be ones that make you feel for the characters. Alexis believes that you should have an opinion on every character in a book whether you love them, hate them, or think they are up to something. She also believes that the most important critic is your reader, so she loves to hear from the readers. She want her fans to be open & talk to her about what they want for the characters in the story, and what they would like to see happen.

4 "When Two Loves Collide" Stars! Lives are fractured once again with the stunning revelations in book 2. Having fallen in love with Jacob, her rock and savior when she thought her husband was dead, heartbreaking decisions must be made when Cam returns. But how can you choose between two men who you totally love in two completely separate points of your life?
Further complicating matters, the Cam that returns is not the man that she fell in love with. Even if her heart longs for the comfort that Jacob can provide, how could she possibly leave Cam at such a dire time?
But the secrets are far from over. And Alexis Noelle has some more stunning revelations to reveal in Fractured Part Three.
Heartbreaking, and tortured this romance will fracture your heart once again before revealing love's destiny.
This was my first experience with Alexis Noel and I can say that I was pleasantly pleased with the Fractured Series. Now I look forward to reading more of her works in the future.

What if your most heart-felt dream became a reality and that reality became a nightmare? Cam, presumed dead for months, returns, a bitter and damaged man who made a bargain with the devil to keep his promise to Shay. His soul is coated in the blood of those he has killed, but when he arrived home, unannounced hoping for healing and the loving arms of Shay, what he finds pushes him over the edge.
Shay has fallen for his best friend, but her love for Cam still scorches her heart. A choice must be made, but is Shay capable of choosing between the shadow of the man Cam was or the future she has planned for with Jacob? Decisions must be made, but life has a way of making them seem impossible to live with until Fate steps in.
Fractured: Volume Three by Alexis Noelle is probably the most emotionally gut wrenching of this series. Ms. Noelle has a brittle and brutal style that asks no one’s approval as she steers us down a barbed path of love, loss, second chances and a tsunami of conflict. There is no hero, no villain, this is life at its most raw. Did I like all of the characters all of the time? No. Do I think the characters all got what they needed, wanted or deserved? No. Do I know what the proper ending should be? Nope, I can’t reconcile it in my mind. Was I glued to each word, feeling every single thing down to my soul? Yes. Ms. Noelle has provided more thought provoking reading in these short novellas than many tomes of vastly greater length and depth. She has exposed the human heart, mind and soul, completely.
I received this ARC edition from the author in exchange for my honest review.
Let me start off by saying that this series has been stamped with the Crazy Ass Must Read Seal!
I was so excited when I got the email saying that the ARC had been delivered. I stopped in the middle of reading another book so I could read this and I'm so glad I was not disappointed! To say that I've been going crazy since I finished Volume 2 is an understatement. I was going bonkers! I totally did not see this coming! Wow, just wow! Totally floored! From the first page to the last, I was glued to my kindle and this intensely emotional story. I can't wait to read more from Alexis Noelle and I'm most definitely re-reading the entire series again.
“The man I’m tied to doesn’t want me. The man who wants me I can’t have.”
My Review:
Heartache, melodrama then finally – yay – a HEA! But did she ever make me work for it. I enjoyed reading about the sweet and tender history she didn’t know she shared with Jacob, and I loved the ending. I was greatly relieved to read the Epilogue and put it to rest.
What a series. You are left hanging in book 2 and wondering what will happen in book 3. I never, ever, expected this outcome. I was blown away.... Crazy all the twists and turns.
I was devastated at the end of volume 1 , had a little hope for my sanity by mid volume 2 , that went right out the freakin window at the end of volume 2 and let's just say volume 3 ripped me to shreds and didn't even give me time to breathe. At one point I think I actually stopped breathing... I may have emailed the author a few times during the last 30% , I may vented a bit on our FB blog page , I may have even considered refusing to write a review !! But here I am trying not to spoil and trying not to yell !! Honestly I am at a loss...
Shay and Jacob have found some peace by the end of volume 2 , yes it is not ideal to fall for your dead hubbys BFF but these situations are never ideal and when you are with someone sharing feelings and healing each other connections are made. Well what happens when hubby walks in the door when his wife is mid-connecting with his BFF... Yes all HE** breaks lose. I mean I am still in shock Cam is alive and he has already thrown a fit , taken off , Shay has kicked Jacob out and he is gone and yes I am still like WAIT CAM IS ALIVE !! The craziness Cam has suffered in the past 6 months is enough to destroy anyone and he is definitely showing signs of PTSD. Cam is not Cam and Shay is at a loss of what to do. His words & his actions are uncontrollable and I was horrified for Shay to be alone with him. He won't talk to Shay , Jacob won't stop talking and Shay really just wants to run away. I am yelling for her to take me with her because I need a break from her life !! You won't believe what goes down in the last half of this story , I am not telling you but I am saying HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS !! This is a wild ride , it comes out of nowhere and as fast as it came it is gone and you are left stunned. The epilogue , OMG beautiful , heartbreaking , I can't even imagine reading it without tears. This may be a story but any mother , wife , best friend can connect to the pain and happiness these characters feel. I am sad it is over , I feel used and abused but i will carry on and recommend this serial to anyone and everyone !!
Volume Three picks up right where Two left off, with your mouth flopped open because you cannot believe what happened. Just when Shay is ready to move on with Jacob and then BANG the unexpected happened. Cam is back. Volume Three then takes off on a whirlwind. Is Shay so sure of who she wants her forever with now? The man who currently has her heart is out of reach now that her husband is back, but is Cam the same man she married? Shay struggles with this man who came back damaged from the war and struggles with leaving Jacob behind. How could she ever choose between the man she made a vow to that is out of reach or the man within her reach who is vowing to never leave her? A chain of events leads to a decision being made for Shay that was totally unexpected and I was shocked! No I am not telling you what it was, you need to read it. I wish everything did not tie up nice and neat in a little bow. I wish the “Fractured” part followed through and one tiny thing was switched up. The epilogue made up for that, it was sweet and perfect! This serial was great. It did exactly what serials should do. Suck you in, keep you engaged and wanting more and wrap the story up in the end. Great read!
The conclusion to the Fractured Series and OMG DAMN what an ending!
The man I’m tied to doesn’t want me. The man who wants me I can’t have.
The husband, Cam is back but her heart had already moved on to Jacob. Torn by two men: one who she was married to but thought had died in active duty and the other is her husband’s best friend he calls brother that vowed to take care of her if anything should happened. A man that was there for her to help her pick up the pieces at the lowest point of her life when she had thought she had lost everything.
Jacob covers me with the blanket and walks toward the door. “You’d be amazed what shit like this will do to a person.” He shuts the door and I realized that now in a matter of six months I have lost two men that I have loved. One because he can’t stand the sight of me and the other because a relationship just isn’t possible anymore.
Just when I though it was over she ends the trilogy with an over the top shocker! What!?!? The 5 stars read had me going all over the place debating what route she should take and when the choice was chosen the author did not just stop there. This roller coaster ride turn of events had me hooked since the beginning of the series until the end of the volume. A book that will have your stomach churning!
Volume Three picks right up where we were left hanging in Volume Two. It's Shay's dream and nightmare standing at the bedroom door just as she and Jacob are about to have sex. Cam is home!!! How, why, where, what the hell happened??? And, on top of all of this, he is not the Cam that Shay knew and love, this is a very damaged and war torn man who would fight and punch anything that got into his way.
He was blaming Jacob for leaving him there, he was calling Shay a slut, he was angry at the world for what happened to him and would not listen to any reasoning. Of course Shay was beyond upset. Yes, her dream of having her beloved husband back actually happened, but she certainly was not prepared for the shell of the man that did turn up. She loved the good Cam, not this ready to implode Cam, he was abusive and she could only secretly turn to Jacob for his love and support.
Cam needed medical help, but totally refused because he didn't want to Army to think he was crazy, which he totally was. I do not want to say more then this because I don't want to give the whole ending away. It was heartbreaking, but also heartwarming and you will need tissues. I totally enjoyed the entire series, and hope you will too.
Rosie's Book Heaven was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is the third book in the Fractured Series and probably the most emotional of the three.
Spoiler Alert! If you haven't read the first two books, please note that this review will reveal things that happened in the first two books.
At the end of book 2, we see that Shay has finally started to heal and move on with Jacob, until Cam, presumed dead for the last six months, returns home. But Cam is no longer the man Shay fell in love with; he is damaged, broken beyond repair, bitter and angry. Shocked to see him again, her guilt returns in full force and she pushes Jacob away. Now she must make a decision. And Cam reminds her frequently that everything he did, he did to return to her.
After meeting Cam in the first book and falling in love with the wonderful man, it was a shock to see who he had become. I felt terrible for what he had been through, but I was very worried for Shay's safety around him. And part of me screamed at her to run away from him and go back to Jacob.
I do not want to say any more about the twists and turns this book takes, but buckle up!!
This was a great series and a wild emotional roller coaster of a ride! I highly recommend it! And I'm so thankful I had a chance to read this!!
I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
Fractured volume 3 is the final installment in the Fractured series. This book took on an entirely different direction then I predicted. It had some twists, I did not see coming. I did enjoy the first two books more. This is the heaviest of them all. It was a nightmare for everyone involved. Heartbreaking and sad. Extremely different from the first book, which started with a carefree young couple in love. The series did go full circle and ended with a young couple in love. But whom?? Somewhere in the middle of the series, big life altering changes occurred. Things quickly went from bad to worse! Shay, Cam and Jacob's lives will never be the same. This book had many peaks and valleys for me. While I enjoyed the flow of Alexis' writing, I question some of the storyline. I wanted some parts to be more realistic. Especially the ending. It wrapped up too perfectly. Just like the past books, this book would have benefited if it were a bit longer.
It did give me a glimpse of how military families must live in constant fear. Especially if they are deployed. Only God knows what they must see and have to live through. I do applaud Alexis for bringing their struggles into the light. I give the entire series 3.5 stars.
I received a copy of this book from the author of an honest review.
Wow what a powerful way to wrap up a serial. My head was still spinning from the ending of volume II. Volume III begins where volume II leaves off and my head is still spinning and doesn't stop.
Shay is has to decide does she choose to remain with the future or choose to go with the past even if the past is not the way she remembers. People change over time and things change people when they are called away they don't always return to you the way they were when you hugged them before they got on that bus. The things Shay goes through in this book it's amazing she was able to keep her sanity.
Alexis had me on edge this entire series what is gonna happen next, I can't believe that just happened, no this cannot be happening, No not now things were just looking up, talk about a roller-coaster ride. I hate that I can't not go into detail in this review but there would be too many spoilers. I have to say I love my epilogues and this was a good one it was able to wrap everything up and give the HEA that I so needed. Thanks for messing with my head over the past weeks Alexis Noelle it was a great ride.
I was given an ARC for a honest review of the book.Fractured 3 is the final installment in the Fractured series. The book picks up were the second book left off. Shay and Jacob had just came back from their dinner date and are in Jacob’s room kissing when Cam walks in on them. Of course Cam is shocked to find his wife in the arm’s of Jacob who is not only part of his unit but a person he considers a brother and Shay is shocked to see her husband who she thought was dead. Of course Cam is angry with Jacob and kicks him out of the house and proceeds to unleash his hurt on Shay. Book 3 is the story of Cam’s return home, his feelings with what his wife has done and him trying to deal with what he had to do to get back to her. When I first started this series I was intrigued as to where the author was going to take the story. I can say that the author did not disappoint. I could not have imagined the direction the author took the characters. I truly enjoyed the story and was pleasantly surprised at the ending. The story is also saws the effects of deployment and army life. Be prepared to go on a journey of twists and turns. Enjoy the ride readers.
I ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY LOVED THIS TRILOGY!! This series is both heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. This is one of the most emotional romance series I've ever read. Each book I cried alittle harder. At times I was crying so hard I couldn't catch my breath. The love between Shay and Cam is one in a million. When things start to get heated between Shay and Jacob I was seriously hoping she would change her mind and realize that she could never replace Cam. I always felt my instincts were right and Cam would show up somehow but I never in a million years would have guessed he would be so lost and tortured. I think this book definitely has the biggest shock factor. Just when you start to think things are gonna settle down BAM! I was bawling again. Lol. I did not see the surprise at the end coming. It was so intense my heart actually ached. I extremely recommend this series to everyone. One thing that I really hated about this series is that the books were all too short. I wanted more. WARNING! Be prepared to bawl your eyes out. You'll need at least a box of tissues.
I am speechless after reading this final book in the series, and in a good way. This was an epic conclusion to the trilogy.
Cam has come back after everyone thought he was dead, he had escaped when the platoon was bombed but was rescued by someone who was rich and meaner than the enemies and was forced to work as a personal assassin for six months in order for is release. When Cam arrives at home he finds Shay, his wife, and one of his best friends Jacob in a passionate embrace, Cam kicks j Jacob out telling him that Shay is his wife.
Even though he is back Cam is a changed man, he is violent and has almost duel personalities but Shay thinks he s suffering from PTSD from what he went through but rather than say anything to anyone she keeps it to herself living every day in fear of which one of Cam is with her that day.
What will Shay do, torn between two men, who will she choose, Cam who she used to know inside and out or will she follow her heart and choose the unknown with Jacob?????
Well, I'm going to have to say the third and final installment didn't knock my socks off like the first two did. This review may spoil books one and two.
Volume three starts just where two ends, Lacey in the room with Cam and Jacob. The only thing is, Cam isn't the husband that left her months ago. This Cam is totally different and not only is Shay in the worst spot imaginable, she is scared to death. Scared for herself, Cam and of course Jacob.
Shay tries to confront Cam when the dust settles, but he wants nothing to do with her or the effed up situation they are all in now. Listening to Cam's story and learning more about Jacob's past has Shay so confused she doesn't know which way to turn.
I'm going to review vague as to not spoil any of the plot lines. However, I felt that the book wrapped up almost too nice and tidy to make it fair for everybody involved. That being said, Alexis Noelle gives us another heck of a short story and a nice epilogue to round it out.
Is it possible to want to be with two different guys at the same time? Can your heart be divided with no clear choice? How can you choose between a past you thought was over and a present that just began?
This book starts where the last one ended. Lacey can't believe her eyes and thinks its some kind of dream. But her reality is unbelieve and leaves me shocked. I don't know what I want to happen. Who is Lacey's future? Alexa is amazing author and she keeps you guessing and the twist and turns this series takes constantly keeps you on your toes. I am so amazed because I never in my wildest dreams thought the story would go this way.
This book is so amazing. I cried by eyes out and felt heart broken for Lacey. She was dealt alot throught this story and she felt empty and alone. Shay is there for her in the second book and in another twist we find out more about Shay. There so much more to this story and you'll just have to read this book to find out what happens. I don't want to spoil one twist or turn because even if I did I am not sure you would believe me.
So I don't wan to say to much because it will be spoiling it for everyone! You have to have read the first 2 volumes to be able to understand the final volume of the series. With that said, yes, it is an intensely emotional roller coaster of a book. When Shay she had just received the shock of her life. Now caught between a rock and a hard place she has to make a decision that will forever change her life. Cam and Jackson are a huge part of her life and she is now trying to find a place for the two. You will have some WTF moments that will have you truly frightened for our Shay and some that you will want to kick her for. In the end you will end with the peace, the characters in the book will have found the peace that they should have. Alexis tackles a topic that is hard to understand PTSD, is something that can debilitate a person if left untreated. While you read this book you will understand just how difficult and painful it is not only for the person suffering from it but their loved ones as well. An amazing read that will leave it's mark!
I have enjoyed this serial and was dying to read the finale. Man, after reading it, I almost died again. Shay, Cam and Jacob are in quite the spot at the beginning of the book, but the way it all works out is surprising, heartbreaking, and amazingly perfect.
At the beginning of the story, Shay is in a real bad spot, but I had to ask myself if she forced herself into that spot and if I would feel sorry for her in real life. I could only come to one conclusion, I would definitely feel bad for her. Thinking her husband had died only to have him come home to her. I can’t even imagine what that would be like.
I think that Ms. Noelle did a great job of wrapping up this serial and giving readers everything they could ask for. There is plenty of love and just enough angst. There is love and there are questions. I would recommend this series to anyone looking for a quick read that will leave them breathless.
He never breaks eye contact and I feel like he’s caressing my soul just as much as he is my body.
Right, let me start this by saying that while I am normally fairly precise with my reviews, I am not going to do that with his book because you don’t really need me to tell what the story is about – YOU NEED TO READ IT FOR YOURSELF !!!! We pick straight up from the end of book two and we catch up with Shay as she contemplates the events that have her head spinning. She has decisions to make on which direction she will go but it is far from easy. The author managed to leave my head and heart conflicted. And much like Shay I was completely torn about what she should do for the best. The whole book was an emotional ride that in the end I was both reluctant yet relieved to get off. It was so intense that it left me blindsided to some extent.
So when the book finished I was left shaking my head trying to decipher what the hell just happened? This is a fabulous series that you cannot afford to miss
I only read book 3 because I have a bad habit of making myself finish every book I started. I understand the seriousness of PTSD. I just wish Alexis did as well. To have Cam come back broken like that was a true picture of the horrible results of war. However, having him come home to a wife who was in love with another man, I understand the circumstances since she thought he was dead. But to have him fight so hard to come home to her and have her torn between him and another man was more heartbreaking than his first death. And to have her become pregnant with twins from both men?! Really!! She was going to tell Cam Jr who his real dad was later in life. What? How confused and angry is he going to be learning that the man who he was raised to believe was his dad is actually the man who may have caused his real dad to kill himself. Maybe Cam could have been saved if his wife truly loved him.....
No more Alexis Noelle stories for me
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I could not wait to start this book especially after the clliffhanger that book 2 left us with!
With the sudden return of Cam, who was presumed dead in action months ago see's Shay feeling guilty for moving on and falling in love with his best friends Jacob who was there for her to help her get through the days.
It is clear that Cam is not the man he once was when he describes to her what he had to do in order to get to back to her. With the PTSD getting worse he take it out on Shay. One day she slept with Jacob and later on she then sleeps with Cam - but she is doubting if it was rape or not, that was quite a harrowing scene as it was clear that Cam was not the man she married.
This book had me crying and with everything that happened since that day she slept with both men you will just need to read this series for yourself.
This starts right when volume two ended...Shay is in shock and now even more confused. She doesn't know what she is going to do with not just her future but her present.
Shay should be in a happy place but she isn't. This is not what she imagined it would be like if her dream ever did come true. It's more like a nightmare that she wants to wake up from. She has to choose between her past and present. She is split in two and just might go back to feeling numb to check out for a bit. Will she go back or move forward?
I didn't want to have any spoilers in this review. I will say it was roller coaster of emotions. I was even split but I went a certain way a bit more. I thought this was a great serial series. You don't want to miss this ride.
Quotes:
Neither of us says a word we just stand there, like the calm before the storm.
“Everyone always wants to talk. I don’t want to talk.”
This book starts out where book #2 ended with Shay and Jacob coming into the house and Cam being there. Cam went through hell to get back to Shay. My heart broke for Cam and everything he was going through.
Cam was suffering through PTSD and having flashbacks and would either attack Shay or try to protect her. Jacob was sitting at a hotel room while Shay figured out what she was doing. She went to him and he told her a story from his past. They connected on such a level of not just a physical one but an emotional one.
Shay was feeling guilty. Cam was slowly becoming more and more aggressive.
I did not see the events that took place coming. I was blown away. I am not going to stay anymore for fear of spoilers!
I was given an ARC to provide and honest review and honestly I’m not really sure where to start. I finished the book 2 days ago and I am still trying to process it. I loved the book and how everything wrapped up however everything that happened broke my heart! My heart broke for every character and I really didn’t know whose side I was on.
Shay has moved on with Jacob and then Cam comes back. But he is not the loving Cam who left all those months ago. He has changed and as much as Shay loves him she can’t stop her feelings for Jacob. Also this Cam is so different Shay wants to help him but can you help someone who does not seem to want help. Can you help someone who is so angry that you do not know where to begin?
I don’t want to say anymore since you will need to read it for yourself. This series is amazing! Make sure you have tissues with you when you get to this book!
Fractured Volume Three was absolutely amazing!! Fractured Volume Three is book three and it can not be read a s a standalone. You need ti read Volume One and Two first. Volume Three picks up where Volume Two left off.
Volume Two left us with a crazy cliffhanger. I was like what how could that happen and I was really curious on how Alexis was going to write that whole story line. Wow, she did a great job writing what happens after the cliffhanger and how someone (I don't want to saw who in case you haven't read book 1 or 2 yet) was able to return back. There were definitely twists in this one that I never saw coming.
It's gut wrenching and emotional read. This is the last in the series so there is no cliffhanger. The ending was a great surprise too.
Shay just had her world turned upside down as she comes face to face with Cam, the husband she mourned for the last six months of her life.
Cam has come back from the dead, or so everyone thought, his returned has made Shay and Jacob's relationship come to a halt. Shay is left with her heart split in two in one hand is Cam the man she has always loved and on the other hand Jacob the man that saved her from her dark world.
Can Shay make a decision and choose between the two man she has ever love?
Oh My Freaking World!!!
I never saw this coming and believe me, I love it. This was one of the most intense yet lovable story of all three volumes. If you are not familiar with Fracture I strongly urge you to read it.
* * ARC received on behalf of obsessed by books for an honest review * * >>>must read fractured 1 & 2 first<<< MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS never in my mind did I see this coming. I can only imagine. cam is back and when he sees his wife and best friend together he goes crazy, but it's really not cam, the cam was left back on the battlefield. Shay is seeing the after math of what soldiers go through on and off the war zone. Cam keeps telling shay he did unusable things just to get back to her, shay is torn she wants her old cam back, plus Jacob is stating his love for her and telling her he will fight for them. events happens and situations change. will shay finally get peace, closer, happiness. we get to see how PTSD can really effect a person, the whole family. 4 out of 5.
DONE.. I'M DONE.. ALEXIS HAS OFFICIALLY KILLED ME. She has ripped my heart out. It's me... on the floor.. flopping like a fish out of water... I can't BELIEVE what she just did to me!! I can't.. I am ... oh my god. This last serial has covered such a range of emotions for me. I went from the oh my god, to the nervousness, to fear, to confusion, to frustration, to happiness and swooning. She had me all over the place. But she also ripped out my dang heart, not once but twice. Cam.. i just, CAM!
But she also tied together the past of our characters, something we never knew about before, so it's a bit of a twist. It adds a little depth to Jacob and how he feels and it also explains his actions too. and that ending!! GAH! ome...
***ARC provided in exchange for an honest review - Jacquie / Scandalous Book Blog*** This is the third and final installment of the Fractures series and once again Alexis Noelle blew me away. I can’t really give you a synopsis or a in depth review without spoiling this book and it’s predecessors. What i will say is all three books were fabulously written and the story line is heartbreaking and tender. The final book ties up all the lose ends but not before we have our heart broken and repaired. I recommend you read the entire series for yourself you wont be disappointed, but get have the tissues at the ready.
