This second book was pretty good, but some elements of it became a bit murky. And while the first book had quite a few good sex scenes, this one was more fade to black or a paragraph long. Since the first book came across as more erotica than fantasy, that was a bit of a letdown.
The story progresses of the MC now starting in a new city and a new dungeon to navigate, as well as a second city/dungeon to start in. More of his followers join the inner circle and gain the gold collar around their neck. The plots get a bit more murky, with much being hidden from the reader's eyes until it's time to go down. The final sequence for that makes perfect sense, but was still a bit of a surprise.
The book was mostly well written, but the last 100 or so pages had numerous errors of the wrong word used. Either the editing fell apart, or the author made changes post editing.
