Gripping and strong storytelling
The series continues with a very strong entry. Not often does a second book feel stronger than the first, but this one does. The twists and turns were there and did not come across as forced. The narrative is well thought out and makes sense without being trite. It will be interesting to see where it goes from here. There is a sense of struggle coming through in the narrative that many of us can relate to but I am not quite sure I can put my finger on the exact nature of it and that keeps me wanting to read more. I am ready for book 3.
