With various college-age Dublin books like Normal People and Snowflake having been published in recent years, it's good to read a completely different perspective, focused on the interconnected lives of people with addiction and their friends and families. With themes of love, care and home, it's beautifully written and, like all of her work, makes you feel discomfort, compassion and hope. Recommend.
