Bethany and Striker

BAD BOY BIKER'S BRIDE is Book 1 of Seven Brides for Seven Bikers series. It's s short and steamy, instalove, OTT, opposites-attract, forced-proximity, curvy girl gets her biker romance. Reed "Striker" is a burly, hunky, inked bar owner and biker. Willow is a curvy runaway bride. When she shows up at the bar asking for help, Striker immediately wants to protect her. Can he keep her safe? I loved this couple. TheIr chemistry was off the charts hot, and the ending was so happy. I loved it.

Bad Boy Biker's Bride by Jessa Joy is the kind of fast, addictive instalove romance that grabs you immediately and never lets go. It’s short, steamy, protective, and packed with that irresistible “touch her and die” biker energy that makes MC romance readers absolutely melt.

The story kicks off with pure chaos in the best possible way—Bethany fleeing her own wedding and running straight into Striker’s bar still wearing her dress. Honestly, I was hooked from that moment alone. There’s something so satisfying about a romance where a woman reaches her breaking point and accidentally finds safety in the last place she expected.

And Striker? This man wastes absolutely no time deciding she’s under his protection.

Scarred, dangerous, and built like a wall between Bethany and the world, Striker has that classic gruff biker exterior, but the second Bethany stumbles into his bar scared and desperate, his protective instincts lock in immediately. I loved how instinctive his care for her felt. He doesn’t hesitate. He hides her, stands between her and the men chasing her, and silently makes it clear that nobody is taking her anywhere she doesn’t want to go.

The chemistry between them is instant, but it works because the emotional pull is immediate too. Bethany has spent enough time feeling unsafe and trapped, so watching her find comfort in this intimidating biker who makes her feel protected from the very first touch was incredibly satisfying. Their connection is fast, intense, and exactly what you want from a short instalove MC romance.

What really made this book fun was the atmosphere. The biker bar setting, the looming danger, the runaway bride chaos, and Striker’s fierce devotion created a story that felt exciting from beginning to end without losing the emotional warmth underneath all the tension and steam.

If you love runaway bride romances, possessive bikers, scarred protectors, instant attraction, and alpha heroes willing to burn the world down for the woman they choose, Bad Boy Biker's Bride is such a fun binge-worthy read. Bethany and Striker’s story is quick, emotional, steamy, and the perfect start to what already feels like an addictive biker romance series.

Striker is at his bar, the Outlaw Saloon, which his Prez had helped him with and now owned for four years. He has a cat, that he has a raffle for to name him. The names are freaking hilarious. He is one of the High Vale Outlaws MC, as well as with Hawk, who is the only other one in town. Everyone else is out of it. We find out that they have been watching the High Vale Lodge (who doesn’t know Hawk or his brother, Lucky are part of the MC). The Lodge is run by people that are dodgy and things keep happening.

Then a woman in a wedding dress runs in dirty and barefoot, and asks for help. Striker and Hawk jump into action as a few minutes later two thugs come in asking questions. Finding out how Bethany got into the mess had me livid and ready to kick something, as are the guys. Then things go totally old school Roadhouse (Patrick Swayze).

I love how Striker cares for Bethany. There is steam coming off of the kindle as I read. lol. I really like how Striker tells Bethany of his life before they do anything steamy. It impressed me. He tells her these things expecting her to not want him anymore. Young guys are stupid. He was too.

Striker’s plan to protect Bethany backfires. I started chewing my nails with worry over what Bethany does. then things get a bit crazy but, Striker and company kick butt. However, it isn’t over with Rotmere- the people who have been on the MC’s radar over at the Lodge. They want Bethany’s brother’s access to something and they will use her to get it. But, the MC handles that efficiently. I loved it. I loved the ending.

The runaway bride walks into his saloon and his life will never be the same again

Bad Boy Biker's Bride is the first book in the new Seven Brides for Seven Bikers by Jessa Joy. This is a fast-paced and dive-right-in story about Bethany Crawford and Reed 'Striker' Barnes. What she thought was a modelling job at High Vale Lodge instead turns into her being a forced bride to a dangerous man. Striker used to be a cage fighter but now owns the Outlaw Saloon in High Vale and is the Sergeant-at-Arms of the High Vale Outlaws MC. Bethany ends up escaping after breaking a window in the bathroom and makes a run through the woods. She comes upon the Outlaw Saloon and takes her chances that someone there will be able to help her. Striker immediately knows something is going on and he hides her quickly. Then he and another MC brother fend off three suits who are trying to track down the runaway bride and bring her back. As it turns out the MC has been working to find out just what is happening at the Lodge and then put an end to it. Striker hides Bethany in his apartment for a few days and then they start a fake engagement/relationship which turns a lot more real quickly. But there is still the danger looking for her which will close in and make Striker fight for exactly what he wants.
I liked this book quite a lot. There were some times that I found myself questioning some of the details and feeling like I missed a prequel book about the MC, town and lodge which set-up the series better. But overall it was an enjoyable and entertaining read.

Saving the Damsel and Finding a Forever -
Stryker doesn’t do relationships, but he felt a connection with Bethany from the moment he met her. Even though Bethany was weary about accepting Stryker’s help, she felt he was safer than the people chasing her. After finding out about Bethany’s situation, Stryker did everything possible to keep her safe and made sure she understood he didn’t expect any favours in return. However, the sparks between Bethany and Stryker exploded after they just couldn’t keep their hands off each other.

Although Bethany’s feelings for Stryker had grown whilst they were together, he was hesitant and it led to her finding herself in a situation that put her in danger. Fortunately, Stryker and his MC brothers were able to rescue Bethany in time, which forced him to finally confess his true feelings. Luckily, Stryker and Bethany got to have a chance to build the life that they wanted and they ensured her brother was kept safe.

Front the first page to the last page, this heartfelt romance story was an excellent read, that I really enjoyed and will be happy to recommend. This emotion-filled instalove storyline is filled with drama, some tender and romantic moments and a bit of action, that provides a wonderful swoon-worthy love story amidst the chaos.

A different take on a favorite movie memory.

When I saw the title of this new series, my thoughts were of the 1952 movie "Seven brides for seven brothers". I don't know if the author intended it or it was coincidence. Striker and Bethany. Both are strong characters. The MC are as close if not closer than actual blood brothers. I devoured the first two books. I put the third one in my wish list. The town is up against ruthless land developers. They lie, cheat and try to intimidate the townspeople. Bethany escapes her captors by breaking a bathroom window and climbing out of t wearing a wedding dress. After asking for help at Striker's bar he hides her under the bar in a cabinet area. Two men try to intimidate Striker and one makes the mistake of grabbing his arm. A strong right hook from Striker knocks the man out. His partner ends up dragging him out of there after being warned not to come back. Bethany is an IT specialist who fixes Striker's malfunctioning laptop within minutes. Her computer skills come in handy helping the club fight against the corruption. Fake engagement becomes a real one. The bad guys lose.

This story is intense, LOTS of action and fighting, but to give Oh boy does it start with drama and action. Its not everyday you see a woman coming into the bar in a muddied wedding dress, but life isn't always predictable.

I love that Bethany got caught up in the something she doesn't understand, and runs trusting her gut. She knows she should probably be scared to death of the big biker, but she's not. Striker might be a brute, and the sargent in arms for the MC, but he knows a sacred woman when he sees her,and they aren't getting through them. I loved how Striker put the henchmen who came after Bethany in their place quickly and swiftly!!

I enjoyed how Striker, and Bethany got together. They gave each other space to be, yet allowed themselves to be open and share who they really are in life. Admittedly things happen a tad out of order (you'll understand as you read and its good thing), and gives the book lots of action.

It reminds us sometimes love comes from a chance meeting in a way you never expected, and its worth the risk sometimes.

Striker owns the Outlaw Saloon, he is the Sergeant at Arms of the High Vale Outlaw MC and a former cage fighter. He is in his bar when a curvy goddess in a muddy wedding dress appears. One look at her and he knows he will never be the same. He determines she is his and his protective instincts kick in.
Bethany just finished her degree and took what she thought was a modeling job to help pay off her student loans. She never imagined that she would be captured and forced to marry a complete stranger….so she ran…..right into the arms of Striker.
This is a great start to a new series by Jessa Joy. It is a short instant love with hot chemistry between the main characters, overprotective alpha hero, funny banter, danger, crooked cops and a cute kitty to boot.

🖤Striker & Bethany 🩷

𝑫𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒚, 𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔. 𝒀𝒐𝒖'𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆. 𝑵𝒐𝒕 𝒖𝒏𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒎𝒆.

I love Jessa’s stories; they are such sweet, quick reads with small-town vibes. This is the first book in the Seven Brides for Seven Bikers series, and she didn’t disappoint.

𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒔𝒐 𝒇--𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍...

🩷He calls her Princess

🩷Protective

🩷He loves seeing her wear his T-shirt

🩷Don’t worry, I’ll fit 😜

𝒀𝒐𝒖'𝒓𝒆 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒆. 𝑺𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒕.

𝑰'𝒎 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔. 𝑨𝒍𝒍 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔.

Bethany was tricked into thinking she was going to a modeling shoot, only to be forced into a wedding she never wanted. She flees to Striker’s bar, where one look is all it takes for him to know she’s the one he wants forever. He helps protect and hide her, and they both end up falling hard for each other.

I can’t wait to continue the series and read Hawk’s story in Grumpy Biker’s Bride!

A fantastic introduction to The High Vale Outlaws

Morally grey heroes....
Growly possessive bikers.....
The need to protect the innocent and bring down the corrupt.....
And lots of dirty, steamy sex...
What more could you ask for?

Striker is a protector, but he is also a man, so whilst he knows what is going on and what he is thinking, he doesn't open his mouth or his heart and fill Bethany in. Big mistake. As is her running.....again.
This is a great first book in the series, introducing us to The High Vale Outlaws and the dirty corporation they are quietly investigating....or maybe not so quietly now!
I really enjoyed meeting Bethany and Striker and I look forward to Hawk's book next.
I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

This is the kick off story to a new series and this one is setting up to be a bit more intense than other stories from this author. The main storyline of the Rotmere group who are the baddies in the story is left unresolved at the end of the book, but since it's a seven book series and this is book one, I wasn't surprised. The story for Striker and Bethany wrapped up nicely though and while not finalized yet, I can see them having a HEA. Maybe once the series is done there will be a wrap up bonus story that gives all the weddings and such to complete the stories for those who aren't happy with a HFN ending.

Book 1 of Seven Brides for Seven Bikers. And a wonderful start it is! Look forward to more from this world.

'When the men I’m running from come to take me back, he steps in. The moment his hand closes around mine, I belong to him.
And he’s ready to burn the world to prove it.'

The characters were very appealing and likeable and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and exciting and well paced. World building was excellent and solidly drawn. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

This was a fun series opener that has dark undertones that include a dangerous scam, kidnapping and threats. However, Striker is more than ready to step between Bethany and any danger pointed her way. She may have shown up at his bar in a muddy wedding gown and reeking of terror, but he knew, at first sight, that she was going to mean everything to him. I love the patience he showed her to let trust and real feelings build. However, he mucked up and this opened the door to drama and danger... I was glued to my reader as I followed these two to their hot and spicy HEA. So good and I can't wait for the next book :D

Bethany is being forced to wed, so she decides to run and ends up at Striker's bar and into the protection of Striker. Striker takes one look at Bethany and instantly decides he's going to do whatever it takes to protect her. This is an action packed, biker romance with a story that held my attention from the first page until the last. I love how protective Striker was of Bethany and how he was determined to keep her safe. Bad Boy Biker's Bride is book one and a great start to the Seven Brides for Seven Bikers series. The writing is good, and the characters got their happily ever after. I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

It was only supposed to be a modeling job that somehow turned into a wedding that had Bethany hightailing it out of there. She runs right to a bar and a biker that shields her and their path begins. Striker takes one look at Bethany and knows that she is his and when the men come to retrieve her and take her back, he stands up to defend. This action-packed book had me glued to the pages from start to finish.

This is such a good book! I was hooked from the first page to the last. Bethany is in a really bad place, trying to escape criminals who are forcing her to marry the boss. This is where she meets Striker. She hides in the bar he owns, and he knows she is the woman for him. I love the OTT guy that Striker is and how incredibly protective he is of Bethany. Excellent short read with spice, action, and the best happy ending.

Jessa Joy kicks off a brand new series, Seven Brides for Seven Bikers, with the hot and steamy Bad Boy Biker's Bride. Bethany escapes a forced marriage only to walk into another heap of trouble when she runs straight into Striker's bar. A previous cage fighter, Striker is bound and determined to have the runaway bride - even if it means stepping in when her original intended shows up. A quick, sexy, steamy read that's the perfect introduction to a new series.

Striker is surprised by a woman running into his bar in a wedding dress. He doesn't even hesitate he hides her and sends the men that are coming after her away. Bethany couldn't believe the instant attraction for this man who has stood between her and these men stalking her. There is something about this big man that makes her feel safe and secure. This is a short and fun read and I can't wait to see what comes next in the series!

Bride on the Run

Bethany is on the run from a forced wedding to some very bad people. They must have been bad because she ran right into a biker bar and felt safe with Striker who was hiding her. Now Striker knew he had to keep Bethany safe because he knew instantly that she was the one.

This was a fast-paced book that brought two people together who found their person around some very bad people. I am so glad that they found their HEA.
