I want to teach him that everything he grew up knowing about humans is wrong, and that maybe his people would be a lot less repressed if they allowed themselves the one thing humans indulge in.

But the moment Cielo gives in and tastes me is the moment it no longer becomes about what his body wants.
It’s now about who we are to each other, and what fate has in store for both our future, and the future of monsterkind.

well, you’d think for two authors who care so much about disabilities and inclusivity, they wouldn’t mock an entire country!

listen. when i read a book about monsters needing to suck cum to survive, i’m not expecting a literary masterpiece.
but i do expect some basic decency. when you give one of your main characters a different ancestry so it can become the butt of several jokes, you piss me off.

dante is italian, which we absolutely don’t care about, unless we have to crack a good old stereotype or have a laugh.
now, i don’t find it funny, but apparently it’s damn hilarious for these two.

mind you, i don’t care if some stereotypes end up in your book. however your mc repeatedly saying “im italian so (insert stereotype)” is annoying as hell.
here are some examples:

noooo we’re italian we only make pasta from scratch🤪🤪🤪
nooo we’re italian we go across town to get the best gelato (that shit’s arriving home melted mind you)🤪🤪🤪
we’re italian we don’t have coffee after breakfast 🤪🤪🤪
we’re italian our family says a microwave is a morally suspicious appliance 🤪🤪🤪
we’re italian we communicate through hand flapping and yelling🤪🤪🤪 (direct quote btw)
my cousin is italian im glad she isn’t giving the monster shit for drinking a cappuccino after dinner🤪🤪🤪
my mother is italian so she has to say mamma mia every two sentences🤪🤪🤪
italians are loud and everest finds it so funny🤪🤪🤪
rathyn doesn’t like italians because they’re noisy and eat food that looks like blood worms🤪🤪🤪

i stopped writing them down after that because my blood was boiling.
however, there was something that made me laugh so much i almost forgave this shit.

imagine this: you want a beer but you’re at your performative italian friend’s house. he looks at you and tells you he’s italian, so he has menabrea.
IMAGINE IT’S AN UNSPECIFIED FUTURE, MONSTERS HAVE INVADED THE EARTH AND THEY NEED SUCK CUM TO SURVIVE AND THAT FUCKING COLD PISS PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A BEER IS SOMEHOW STILL PRODUCED AND IMPORTED IN FUCKASS CITY, NOWHERE.

you can’t make this shit up i couldn’t stop laughing. i still can’t stop laughing, to be honest.

the book is honestly good. i loved cielo and i will keep loving him forever.
unfortunately, i can’t let two seasoned authors get away with this. it’s embarrassing, it’s disrespectful, it’s something that should never happen.

if you still can’t see the problem with this, pick a country of your choice and for each item of my list, add a stereotype about that country.
don’t forget to make the other characters laugh about them, it’s very important!!!

He’s a tender little marshmallow who just wants to be held and kissed and given lattes.

Cielo stole my heart in Suck (Feed and Feast #1) and I was very eager to find out how he was doing after the dramatic ending of book 1. If anyone deserved to be loved and cherished and fed all the healing cum he wants, it's Cielo! What an absolute sweetheart 😍. I loved his inner monologue and how he was so eager to learn and accept his new life.

The moment I met him, something shifted inside me. A need. A yearning. It’s everything we are told we’re not meant to want. Everything we’ve been told is dangerous for the future of our species.

Dante wasn't as likeable for me as Cielo, but the two are a good pair. I was very interested in Cielo's recovery and the glimpses of his life and brothers in Erethar. I was less interested in Dante's health issues and didn't quite follow the connection between being able to speak English and the quantity of cum ingested. It felt like there was an agenda to shoehorn certain storylines into the series in ways that didn't always make sense or fit. They also weren't mentioned in the blurb, which was an oversight for me. I would have passed on reading the book if I had known. I prefer when the story feels authentic.

I’m broken, but then again, so is he. We need one another to survive this life. We need each other to heal.

My main hesitation with this book is that it was 200 pages longer than it needed to be. There is a tremendous amount of extraneous description and dialogue that needed to be edited out to keep the plot moving. With that said, this series is very cute and the touch-starved Vyastil thing gets me everrrrrrrry time so I still loved it 🥰.

I am happy, and that feels like a dangerous thing to think. Happy was never allowed before. Happy was not part of the plan. It was almost forbidden.

I don't have much to say, but while I very much enjoyed this book, I didn't love it as much as the first one. I adore Cielo and I was really looking forward to reading his story, but their relationship just didn't hit me as hard as I wanted it to. I'm not really sure why that is though. My brain is not divulging any useful information, unfortunately! I still liked it though, and I'm hoping that Eissa and Luca's story will hit me harder, when it comes out! XD

I like this universe so it was not a chore to dive back in and find out more about each species and their differences. Cielo deserved his own book and I guess Dante was right for him but I didn't vibe with Dante at all.

His chronic illness was overblown and resolved as you come to expect as everything is in this world with cum!

The last 30 % dragged so much that I had dry eyes from keeping them open. The only saving grace was the dry wit of Rathyn, that I enjoyed immensely.

Yet another book that works towards setting up multiple character arcs and couples for the future. You spend so much time predicting who will be pairing off. The epilogue focuses on Luca and Eissa and the reader is informed that they will be off planet for their story

ListenI have loved Cielo from the moment he appeared in Suck, and was so happy he was getting his own book because he is a precious angel baby! He and Dante are so perfect, and I loved this so much.

My only gripe is that this was definitely longer than it needed to be, but I still ate it up.

Cielo and Dante far surpassed all of my expectations! This was so much fun. Their chemistry was off the charts. The caretaking scenes were adorable. The way we got to watch Cielo adjust to humanity was so fun. Making friends 😭 my heart. Also I loved seeing Everest and Rathyn again. I’m so happy with how this book played out and I’m very eager for the next book in the series to be released (gimme Luca’s book now!!! Hehe)

Cielo is babygirl and I love him for it.

This book was so good and it’s my favorite of the two so far. Getting to see how Dante and Cielo grew in their relationship and healed each other was so sweet. And what a cliffhanger at the end. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. Also fuck Zane… what an asshole.

I think many people will enjoy this book, unfortunately it didn’t really work for me. Writing wise, it would have needed serious editing. Like cut at least 200 pages. There were also quite a few inconsistencies (Cielo going to the Foundry, the movie tickets) I was just bored through most of it. I did however laugh out loud many times.

What I didn’t enjoy:
- Instalove. They were pretty much into each other from page 1.
- Too sweet and lovey dovey.
- Too many unnecessary scenes with other characters. I enjoyed most scenes with Everest and Rathyn, but even they got to be too much towards the end.

I LOVED the first book in the series, and I’m still going to try book 3.

This was ok. I love Cielo, but he lacked chemistry with Dante. I missed the romance. There was no real passion. This book was also way too long. Needed a lot of editing. I do like this world and I’m excited for the next book. I feel like that couple will be more interesting.

Oh my sweet little Cielo 😭😭😭😍😍😍

I love Cielo and Dante so much!! They’re both the sweetest and the kindest, and Cielo is so fucking cute I could die! Not him adopting a little baby possum 🥹🥹🥹 In this book we get to learn a little more about Cielo’s world and its corruption, which sadly isn’t much different than the real world. This one wasn’t quite as spicy as book 1, which fits the story considering both Cielo and Dante have a lot of healing to do. The spice that is there is HOT though 😮‍💨 We also get lots of Everest and Rath time, which is downright hilarious! 🤣

I am DYING for Luca and Eissa’s story now, and really eager to see what direction the author’s are going to go with Zane’s raggedy ass…is he going to be a full blown Villian, or will he eventually have a redemption arc?

***ARC Review***

This is my honest and voluntary review.

Cielo and Dante are so adorable in this second book in the Feed and Feast series by E.M. Lindsey and Cora Rose. This co-write has knocked it out of the park again. Dante provides Cielo sanctuary after he’s been injured and banished from his home planet Erethar. It’s really sweet watching the connection and bond unfurl between these two. It’s clear that Dante and Cielo are drawn to one another and care about one another. Dante is kind and compassionate. Cielo is so gentle and innocent that it’s endearing. Both Dante and Cielo are the greenest of green flags. They care about their family and friends and would do anything in their power to help them. I appreciate how Dante does at Cielo’s pace, trying to provide comfort for the feelings of unworthiness that he has.

It should be noted that for all the kind people that Cielo comes across on Earth, it’s clear that there’s still tension from the first novel in this one. There are still factions of people who have negative feelings against the Vyastil. That said, it was amazing seeing Cielo integrate into the human world. His love of lattes and his budding friendship with three human gym bros is super cute. Quilliyn helps as well. We get to see plenty of Everest and Rathyn in this story. It was really nice to see into Dante’s family dynamic as well. I also appreciate that we get more information about Cielo’s family. The MCs double date is hilarious and the scene on Lake Michigan is beautiful.

Cielo and Dante’s journey towards their HEA is lovely. This book will absolutely draw you in. Now, let’s talk about that epilogue! It’s from Luca’s (Dante’s brother) POV and I am hooked! I am so excited for Luca and Eissa’s story. I have a feeling it’s going to be as amazing as the first two books in this series.

Omg Cielo 🥹🩷 this story was so so cute. Cielo is kindhearted, hates violence, but also has suffered from the hands of his own kind so much. Then Dante takes him home to help him heal. There were so many gentle moments between them, because these two first of all are kind, but also crazy for each other 😊 there were lots of funny moments, like the cousin’s birthday - the balloons, Nonna 🍷😄, the double date!!!
What’s more important is that the plot thickens! I want to know what will happen with that fucking twat Zane and the human resistance. Luca and Eissa 🫣

I had a lot of mixed feelings about this book. I loved Cielo and all his adorableness. They were a very cute couple. What I didn’t love, and what ruined the story for me, was the “magic heals his chronic pain and illness forever”. As someone who has chronic pain and chronic illness, it’s hurtful to me to see it dismissed. I would’ve been fine with his disease process being helped into remission or just managed better, but it always feels invalidating. It was especially frustrating when compared to how Dante’s brother, Luca, fought to not be seen as “defective” as a Deaf man and the positive discussion of Deaf culture and Deafness as a whole. Like, let other disabilities be given validity too.

Taste by E.M. Lindsey and Cora Rose is book 2 in the Feed and Feast series. I loved book 1, so I was really looking forward to book 2. Cielo and Dante were both favorites from the first book, so I knew this would be a good one. The plot moved along beautifully and I am invested in where this is going. The issue of the Vyastil arriving on Earth and making demands of the humans is definitely complicated. I understand both sides.

Dante and Cielo were so stinkin’ sweet and I loved watching their relationship grow. Dante’s family was also great. So loving and welcoming to Cielo. Dante’s mom knitting pink socks was one of the sweetest moments.

I was expecting Q and Zane to be next, but I cannot lie, I am here for the couple in the next book. I cannot wait. I am interested to see how they will make me like Zane. What he did near the end of the book seems almost unforgivable. It will be interesting and I have to say, my heart broke for Everest realizing exactly who his former roommate and friend is. I highly recommend this series and cannot wait to read the next one!

The best thing about this book was the epilogue. And it wasn't even about Cielo and Dante. So, if you're not really into this book, just read the parts with Luca and Eissa and wait for the next installment, because you're not missing out on much.

As I predicted within the first 50 pages, this was going to be boring as hell and it was.

I found absolutely no real passion or chemistry between Dante and Cielo, and stretching all of that out to nearly 600 pages is just nothing short of blasphemy.

You have this amazing new alien world with monsters living peacefully alongside humans, and so much potential for incredible things to happen, but unfortunately, the imagination needed to make something truly special out of all this was severely lacking here.

Anyway, Cielo is Everest and Rathyn’s bodyguard from the first installment. If you remember, Cielo went to Erethar when he wasn’t supposed to, got captured, was severely punished, and was eventually extradited to Earth.
He’s physically hurt and Dante, the owner of a sex shop, agrees to take him in and take care of him.

I could cry my eyes out because the visuals were great, and yet they got the most boring book ever

While their connection should've been something rare and special, it just felt like the only natural progression of them living together and not something that amazingly and unexpectedly happened.

"And, if I’m willing to admit it, I can feel something between Cielo and me that transcends human understanding."

No, no it really doesn't. They were both trying to tell us it's something special, but it really wasn't.

I felt no sparks, no uniqueness and I feel like Cielo should've gotten someone else as a love interest. Those sex toys that Dante kept mentioning and they never even used much, were pointless. There was no special chemistry between them and the jealousy was just thrown in there for the sake of it, it didn't work (for me).

What I don’t get is why the fact that Vyastil are now finally having sex for pleasure isn’t treated as something more important? You get a few blowjobs in the books, but Vyastils' sex drive is barely mentioned, as if it doesn’t really exist outside of those encounters, which isn’t true.

The whole touching part, and touching for pleasure, should've been the main focus, right along with Vyastil using their dicks after how many centuries? I mean, shouldn't that be that main focus?? Not to mention how the telepathic connection is just told in passing, while it should've been something extraordinary.

I also didn’t like Dante. You’ve got him, his Italian-American identity, and a whole bunch of stereotypes all rolled into one, along with endless opportunities for the aliens to be taught what they can and can’t say without offending someone.

The writing was annoying and boring. Dante almost felt like a woman at times too, the way he explains and tells things just didn’t sit right with me. It might just be me, but I really didn’t like him as a character, he didn't stand out or fit with Cielo, at least in my mind.

"Getting involved in the Deaf community for Luca taught me that Italians and Deaf are alike in a lot of ways. We both speak with our hands and cannot stay out of everyone else’s business."

"I mean, the Italians in my family were not happy about the news of the two of them using a microwave. They believe that’s a morally suspicious appliance, and then went on to say that society was collapsing."



Insert a lesbian cousin and her wife for no good reason, then a bunch of other people that were just messing up the story, and then Dante's bland character that does nothing but eat the herbs and gets hard throughout the book, that's his thing, that's all he does.

They live together, Cielo gets better soon, then they hop back and forth because of Dante's illness, they meet up with different people, have endless pointless dialogues, some action happens only at the end when Zane and Luca get involved and that's it.

The introduction of Cielo's brothers was not worth mentioning either.

Luca and Eissa stole the show and they didn't even have that much page time.

I honestly hope Luca's story is going to be much better, it's about time we start going to Erethar, finding out more about them and making something happen already.

The authors could have included a little something from the previous book at the beginning of this one to remind readers of what was going on. I had to go back and reread it, which shouldn’t really be necessary.

This series is... I don't think I truly have the words to describe how amazing this series actually is. If you get past the silly titles you'll find some of the most romantic alien romances. Istg I don't know how I can love these books more than I already do.

I loved Everest and Rathyn, and I still love them, but I knew Cielo and Dante will have my heart. These two are exactly what the other one needed, and Cielo? Omg, I can't even cuz I will start crying again.

This book made me cry so many times, but that ending? Omg, the way I sobbed. My broken alien boy finally got the love, appreciation, recognition, acceptance, and respect he deserves. Cielo is one of my fav broken boys ever. The way he touched my freaking soul... I can't.

This is book two in the serier, and while it can be read as a standalone, my recommendation would be to read the books in order. It seems to be an overarching plot, but it will also help understand the characters better. Everest and Rathyn are all over this book, Luca and his boo as well. We also have the Prince, they are all here, and we first meet them in book one. It is nice to see the progression of their story, see them for the first time, get to know them from other pov's and then getting to see them in their own books. Hear from them directly.

I loved Cielo since book one. This pink coated latte alien lover with hearts of gold. He is so freaking precious I think I will never stop tearing up thinking about him. I love him so much, and Dante... oh, Dante, I love him just as much because he loves and takes care of our Cielo. Their love story is so, so, so incredibly beautiful. The way they care about each other, the way they always show up for one another, the way they never let go. Stawp. Just... omg, my heart. I love them. I know I am repeating myself at this point but istg I do love them, and it is overwhelming.

I can't wait to read Luca's book. My precious boys will be back in that one too with how intertwined they all are. This group? This group of humans and aliens ( I still don't know why we use the word monster tbh since they're from another planet ), this is not a group. This is a family. This is the family you choose for yourself. The one you love, cherish and trust with everything you have. The one that will always show up.

And Everest? My chaotic boy, I will always love you for the surprise you prepared for Cielo. You knew how important that was and you wanted your bestie to have that.

Ok, bye. I'm gonna go cry now cuz this book overwhelmed me in the best way.

Still about 100 pages too long, but I think this benefitted from being book 2 and us already getting the world building set up in book 1. Obviously we are building to a large overarching storyline, but it does seem like some plot points are a bit shoehorned in…amongst a few other too repetitive things. We could easily still get that political aspect or reforming Vyastil society while getting the romance, but then there are like 3 more side plots happening as well.

BUT I’m super intrigued by the set up for the next book 👀

I also really loved Cielo & Dante together. There cute vibes are much more up my alley than the dynamics of boom 1.

“My Dante” I kneeew these two were going to be the sweetest couple! The tenderness between Dante and Cielo was so heartwarming. Dante had been curious about Cielo in book one when Everest brought Cielo into Dantes “adult store” but when Everest and Rath have to rescue Cielo and help him heal, Dante is who they turn too. It really is cute how they both tiptoe around one another because they are both so into one another. When they finally give in there is soooo much love you can can’t help but smile. And their spicy times are definitely gonna live rent free in my head. Yes Cielo is tender and sweet but he gets FERAL for his Dante!

Many parts of this made me laugh, Ceilo adjusting to his new life and making friends had some great and funny moments. Unfortunately for me, this book just ran on way too long. By the 80% point, I was so annoyed with how many things were going on with side characters that Dante kept saying eh I don’t have time to think about this right now. It started to feel like bad writing. There are better ways to foreshadow than to have your MC just being a bad friend or being stupid. I skimmed the last 15% of the book which made me sad to do but I was kind of over it. I hope they do a bit more editing for the next book.

I think everyone in the book world who read Suck fell in love with Cielo, who’s the most delightful character, and it can’t have been just my heart that broke after seeing the state he was in at the end of the first book in the series. I was ready to go to war for him! There was absolutely no doubt about whether I’d be reading this one after that. It wasn’t a want; it was a need!

Just when I thought Cielo couldn’t get any cuter, he proved me wrong time and time again in Taste. I wanted to squeeze him so tightly for being such an incredibly endearing, precious thing, and never let him go. I loved seeing his joy at making and spending time with his new friends and learning and enjoying new things, as well as his delight over his favourite jacket. I’d make Cielo as many lattes as he wants to hear his happy trills and make those wonderfully expressive ears flutter. And let’s not forget that fab multipurpose tail…  

And not only did Cielo make me coo at his cuteness but he also made me melt at his pronunciation of English words that are so much more fun when Cielo says them: poopcorn or pooo-tatos, anyone? Or perhaps, you’d also like to adopt your own pussyum? And let’s not forget the best name for Dante’s dad: Peepoo (only he could win over his future MIL’s heart in 0.5 seconds for being so precious!). This Vyatil’s got the biggest, purest hearts around, and I couldn’t love him any more than I already do (but I am prepared to eat my words in future books because he will no doubt prove me wrong!).

We cannot forget Dante either, because his kindness and sweet caretaking and protectiveness of Cielo is what encourages the Vyastil to come out of his shell and give them a chance. I was so thrilled that Dante found Cielo after his own complicated past, and after he so longed to find his person.

I was delighted to see that Rathyn and Everest are their usual selves here, with their constant bickering but also that softness they reserve for each other. Rathyn and his blunt delivery of statements still amuses me greatly, especially when it’s in relation to sexy times or those fun toys that Dante gives them. Sorry, Everest, I did want to join Dante in falling into fits of laughter while you blushed at Rathyn’s very honest verdicts. (Side note chapter 23 – comedy gold. One of my fave scenes).

Seeing Everest and Rathyn again exaggerated how different these two couples’ relationships are. While I adore both couples, Dante and Cielo have an extra special place in my heart with their connection. Warm, safe and reassuring, these two’s relationship is like a loving hug, and you only want more of them. More of their wholesome goodness.

It’s so hard to see Dante or Cielo in pain and hurting in this book – I HATED it – but there’s no question about whether they’ll be there for each other and help each other through it. Cielo, especially, grows so much in this, conquering his fear with the help of his friends, and I relished seeing him thrive.

I loved how this book finished for these two – so so thrilled for them both – but I’m also pleased that it won’t be a goodbye for good, as we’ll surely see them again in the rest of the series. And while I’m nervous about what’s to come in the ongoing storyline, I’m glad that these characters have each other and their friends behind them all for what’s coming, and I’m ready for it! Can’t wait for Luca’s story.

I’ll finish by saying one of the side characters needs one heck of a redemption story to win me over after what he did in this book!

I didn’t think I was going to love this book as much as Rath and Everest but listen HERE!!!!!! Dante and Cielo are my absolute favoriteeeeeee and they’re going to be such a hard couple to top.

My sweet, gentle Cielo. This poor Vyastil just wanted and needed to be loved, shown affection and needed to be feel safe. Dante was everythingggggggg to him & I absolutely swooned and loved seeing these two fall in love on the pages. I definitely enjoyed the little twist with cum (iykyk), and loved that Dante never rushed Cielo, it was always his choice at every turn.

Seeing a monster in lace? 🥵 that was new & delicious lol. The way I swooned with them 😍 but they also had me like DAMN. The spice in here was also very delicious considering Dante’s profession 🤭.

I will say there were 2 things I struggled with throughout the book.

• Dante being upset at people who call Cielo a monster….. but every single time he thinks about cielo or talks with his brother about cielo he refers to him as “a monster” or “my monster”. Change has to happen with you…. So you can’t get mad at everyone for referring to him as such when you aren’t any better?

• Listen, I’m not Italian…. But the stereotype of “mamma Mia” and Italians only ever eating pasta for dinner….? A tad bit problematic. A stereotype here or there in a funny manner is one thing but to make that a main thing… and just constantly circle back to it whenever the MC makes dinner or has family over? That was… A CHOICE… and very weird behavior from these two authors… 😬

Other than that, I throughly enjoyed the story! The plot is definitely moving and we have more clues and questions as to wtf is happening. I will truly die if Zane gets a book bc the way I want to fight him…. 😒😒😒.

I can't say too much about this book because it is a sequel and it does build on elements and events from the first book Suck. However it should be noted that I loved every second of my time and I was so happy to be back in this world!

Cielo and Dante are in fact everything to me, they already were after book one but this solidified it even further 😍 Just two beings on a journey to healing, love and the development of the monster sex toy market 👀 ALSO it has chronic pain rep (with unique pain management) and Deaf rep 🖤

Such an amazing story, with some beautiful and very hot spice between them! We also have some world building happening and I am so curious to see how that plays out because tension is brewing 🔥

I am very excited for the next book in the story to see more relationships, and to also explore some of this plot that we're developing!!
