Lauren Weisberger is an American writer and author of the 2003 bestseller The Devil Wears Prada, a roman à clef of her experience as an assistant to Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Weisberger worked as a writer and editor for Vogue and Departures magazines prior to authoring The Devil Wears Prada, which was adapted into a film of the same name in 2006. She has since published seven other novels.

Romanzo più complesso, non so perché l’autrice passi dalla prima persona singolare a una terza persona, forse per aumentare le panoramiche sugli altri personaggi.
Gli eventi sono svariati, la costruzione delle vicende è ben studiata e il finale fa saltare giù dalla sedia. Insomma, sono riuscito davvero a empatizzare con Andrea in questa vicenda e il lieto fine è riuscito a sciogliere il mio cuore di ghiaccio.
