#Resort Crush

Rate this book
Listening length: 9 hours and 1 minute

Nora Wilder and Milo Keene have one thing in they’re both determined to survive each other.

Nora lives for hiking trails, daring takeoffs, and the thrill of what comes next. As an adventure guide at Lakeview Harbor Resort, she finally feels like she’s found her place—until a series of run-ins with one of the resort’s owners threatens the future she’s building there.

Milo prefers schedules and spreadsheets to mountain trails and adrenaline. Investing in the resort where he met his closest friends made perfect sense. Surviving Nora Wilder? Not so much.

After she destroys his drone, terrifies him on a jet ski, and takes him on the most nerve-wracking flight of his life, Milo should be furious.

Instead . . . he’s intrigued.

When Nora unexpectedly comes to his rescue—and Milo accidentally admits he might have feelings for her—the tension between them shifts from hostile to something far more dangerous.

What starts as a resort crush might just turn into the adventure neither of them saw coming.

Happy publication day!

Publication date ~ May 26, 2026
Publisher ~ Dreamscape Media
Est Page Count ~ 309 (17 chapters +e)
Audio length ~ 9 hours 1 minutes
Narrator ~ Rebecca Gibel
POV ~ dual 3rd
Featuring ~ enemies~ish to lovers, opposites attract, fade to black, no steamage
Trigger ~ attempted assault

Milo & Nora ~ millionaire indoorsy tech genius meets adventure seeking adrenaline junky.

Milo just rubs Nora the wrong way for some reason. But when he gets lost on a hike she puts those feeling aside and comes to his rescue. He's vulnerable, dazed and a little over chatty. Has Nora read him wrong this whole time?

Milo is a little misunderstood and feels like an outsider even though his friends never treat him as such. He's so sweet and when Nora needed him in the 3rd act it's his turn to come to the rescue and he came in fierce and protective.

Overall, a sweet story of opposites attract and realizing that putting assumptions aside and getting to know someone could be the best decision you ever made. Another great addition to the series.

Series notes:
A series following all of the resort investors, not only on their renovation journey, but on their journey to find love. Best to read in order.

Narration notes:
1 narrator + dual POV = 👎, but she sounded fine.

Any time I see a new offering from Samantha Chase in the Lakeview Harbor series, I immediately apply for it because I’ve really been enjoying this sweet journey. While it’s not actually about summer camp, the series gives me the same kind of communal, cozy vibe that summer camp novels often have.

That being said, this wasn’t my favorite installment in the series, but it was still a fairly entertaining read. These books can technically be read as interconnected standalones, however I personally think they work best in order because there are smaller details and relationship dynamics that provide important background context. I say this from experience as I started with the 0.5 novella, then jumped to book 3, circled back to book 2, and now finally book 4. At this point, I really should just read book 1!

As for this story itself, it’s a fun romance that would make a perfect beach read or, even better, a camping read to fully lean into the vibes. My only small challenge was that parts felt a bit repetitive and nothing particularly stood out or emotionally hooked me in a bigger way. That’s purely personal preference, though, because the writing itself is solid and Rebecca Gibel’s narration was wonderful.

I’m so thankful to have received a complimentary ALC from Dreamscape Media so I could enjoy this one ahead of publication. It’s releasing at the perfect time for summer reading season and should absolutely satisfy readers looking for romance, cozy vibes, and a little spice.

#𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡 is the 4th book in the Lakeview Harbor series by Samantha Chase, featuring an entertaining enemies to lovers romance for Milo and Nora. They definitely brought an opposites attract vibe with his millionaire tech guru lifestyle versus her athletic outdoor tour guide dynamic, mixed with a grumpy/sunshine vibe. I laughed my way through Milo’s unfortunate outdoor adventure mishaps, and enjoyed the continuation of the strong friendship dynamic of the core group that owns the resort. They’re all unique individuals, but their loyalty adds to the strong found family theme. There is some underlying emotion and a bit of drama, but overall it’s a heartwarming small town romance set in a wilderness with great imagery, good friendships, witty banter, and finding lasting love while merging lives through compromise. Now it’s Slater’s turn, and I can’t wait!

#Resort Crush by Samantha Chase
Narrated by Rebecca Gibel

Book 4 of Lakeview Harbor

Have been looking forward to Miles and Nora’s book.

Miles one of the owners in charge of the security / tech aspects of the resort has had several run ins with outdoor activities employee Nora. Whilst they struggle to get on initially, over time they realise the other is just what they may have been looking for

Silly city man doesn’t listen to friends familiar with the area and hurts himself

Rebecca Gibel has once again done a terrific job of bringing the resort cast to life.

Books work well as standalones and are a great listen with more of a sweet vibe.

Bring on Slater’s book!

Temporary amnesia, opposites attract, millionaire, tech nerd, outdoor girl

Thanks to NetGalley, Dreamscape Media, and Samantha Chase for the ARC, and I am leaving this review voluntarily

Samantha Chase has done it again! I absolutely loved #Resort Crush, the fourth book in her Lakeview Harbor series! #Resort Crush is an incredible love story, which filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions, I was hooked from the first few pages, and it was impossible to put it down. I loved every moment on every page. Samantha Chase continues to deliver the incredibly written love stories that I LOVE to read and is a must-read author for me. I love enemies to lovers /workplace love story, the Harbortown setting, and the amazing characters, they feel like family! Samantha Chase does not disappoint her readers with all the feels in #Resort Crush and has once again delivered an amazing story filled with everything that I have come to love about and expect from her books. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong, passionate females, big loving families, and caring friends, who always support each other? #Resort Crush is a love story between Nora Wilder, tour guide and activities director at Lakeview Harbor Resort and her enemy Milo Keene, founder and CEO of Armor Wave. Nora works as an activities director at Lakeview Harbor Resort, a resort owned by Milo and his childhood friends. Nora is always doing things to annoy Milo, until Milo goes hiking alone, falls, and gets hurt. Nora rescues Milo, causing a change in their relationship. Nora and Milo are staying at nearby cabins at the resort. Things quickly heat up as Nora and Milo spend time at the resort. Conversation between Nora and Milo flow easily. I love the group chat between Milo and his friends. I love the chemistry between them. I love the heart-to-heart conversations that take place in #Resort Crush, especially when they share why they have trust issues and do not date, and Milo’s insecurity at being a nerd. Milo’s security and tech issues have all been completed at the resort. He will be returning home to Seattle. They have decided to give long distance dating a try. It is not as easy as either one of them originally believed. Neither one is willing to admit their real feelings for one another. An unexpected plot twist involving Nora, changes things for them. I was so happy that Nora and Milo finally admit their true feelings for one another, and the changes that they are willing to make to have a life together. I love the ending of Nora and Milo’s love story and all the changes that take place in their lives. My favorite part is the epilogue is the perfect ending of their love story, I especially loved Milo’s proposal and the location where it took place. I love all the changes that Nora and Milo make in their lives to have a future with one another. #Resort Crush was an amazing love story; I am so glad that Nora and Milo’s got the happily ever after. I loved all the plot twists and surprises that filled the pages of this love story. I love how Samantha Chase always manages to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong, sassy woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy man. Samantha Chase continues to deliver all that and so much more. I am not sure how she does it, but Samantha Chase has once again given her readers another remarkable book. This page turner is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments, plot twists, and surprises. I also loved all the moments that had me laughing. I love that Samantha Chase writes her stories from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. I love catching up with all the characters in this series. It felt like a family reunion, I enjoy all the interactions among their friends, it feels like family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. I love Nora’s friendships with Harlow, Lexi, and Maisie. I love the descriptions of the Harbortown and the Lakeview Harbor Resort in #Resort Crush. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I cannot wait to read the other books in the series. Highly recommend this beautifully written love story. I thoroughly enjoy Samantha Chase’s Lakeview Harbor’s series. Most of the characters in this series have known each other for years. They are all currently renovating the resort where they all met and are making plans to reopen it. Meanwhile, little by little, the men and the women have begun to pair off. Resort Crush highlights Milo and Nora’s story.

When Milo and Nora first meet, they cannot stand each other and are constantly badgering and picking on each other. However, eventually, due to their constant proximity, their emotions begin to soften, and they realize they are unbelievably attracted to each in a way they have never felt before.

However, they have one main problem. They are total opposites. Nora is a very outgoing women who always speaks her mind no matter who it hurts. She is very active and athletic, and she thrives on performing difficult, dangerous activities out in the wide open air. On the other hand, Milo is a businessman who owns his own company, He is the stereotypical techie who is an introvert and spends all of his time inside with his computers. He has never done anything dangerous or athletic in his life.

In spite of that, Milo and Nora begin to realize that they enjoy to spending time together. Eventually they admit they love each other. Only, then, they discover that they have another problem. They do not live close to each, and it would be very difficult for them to see each other regularly. Milo lives in Seattle where he owns his own company. He is a workaholic who spends his entire life working and his entire technical team is located there. Only they are completely knowledgeable about his computer programs and his creative new ideas enough to help him complete his work. Thus, he will not have time to visit Nora.

On the other hand, Nora has just been chosen to be the resort’s permanent activities director. Like Milo’s job, this one is also a very time-consuming job. She will spend her entire days setting up tours and leading them. This means that she will also not have time to leave Harbortown and Lakeview Harbor Resort.

Milo and Nora are very much in love with each other and do not want to have a long-distance relationship. They want to live together and always be together. Thus they try very hard to figure out how to solve their problem, but so far it isn’t working. I, too, spent time wondering how this story will solve the problem for this loveable, caring and generous couple.

Readers will fall in love with Milo and Nora as they attempt to find their way in this beautiful and heart-warming love-story.

Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Samantha Chase has done it again with Resort Crush, a delightful, heartfelt opposites-attract romance that earns a glowing 5 stars from me. While a series book (it's the 4th in the Lakeview Harbor series), this book can be read as a stand alone. (You'll want to read the other books in the series) ... The author skillfully brings in characters from the other books, which if you've read, are like familiar friends!)

Nora Wilder and Milo Keene are pure fire together, even as they’re convinced they’re just trying to survive one another. Nora is everything I love in a heroine: a free-spirited adventurer who lives for trails, takeoffs, and chasing the next thrill. She’s honest, bold, and refreshingly unapologetic about wanting more from life.

Milo, on the other hand, is a meticulously organized planner who thrives on schedules, spreadsheets, and knowing exactly what comes next. Their clashing worlds create the perfect tension, but it’s the way Chase bridges that gap that makes this story so special.

What truly stands out is how creative and fresh both the characters and the storyline feel. Samantha Chase has crafted two deeply layered protagonists who defy typical romance tropes. Milo, in particular, is such an interesting and nuanced hero—he’s confident in his structured world but endearingly uncertain when it comes to physical spontaneity and stepping outside his comfort zone. His sweetness toward Nora, combined with his quiet vulnerability, made me fall for him completely. Nora’s adventurous spirit isn’t just window dressing; it actively shapes the story in fun, unexpected ways that keep the pages turning.

The resort setting adds another layer of magic, providing the ideal backdrop for their banter, growing chemistry, and beautiful character growth. The storyline is clever, emotional, and perfectly paced—balancing laugh-out-loud moments with tender, swoony scenes that feel earned.

If you love romances with strong character development, witty opposites-attract energy, and a hero who learns to embrace a little chaos, Resort Crush is an absolute must-read. Samantha Chase delivers another winner that left me smiling long after the final page.

I am leaving this review with the hopes that others find this lovely book. I generously received an ARC from the author
Highly recommended. 5/5 stars!

Miles and Nora’s story is an entertaining and engaging enemies to lovers romance. These two definitely get off on the wrong foot, neither liking the presence of the other at the resort. Nora thinks Miles is at the resort to plan ways destroying more of the natural landscape in order to make more revenue. She believes him to be rich, arrogant and centred on making more money. Miles thinks Nora is a menace, destroying valuable property and deliberately provoking him. Everyone observing these two can see the sparks between them, and knows that something more than irritation is going on between them. Nora‘s direct boss, her friend Slater, warns her to tame her fiery temper, since Miles is one of the owners of the resort and could insist that she be let go.

Their next couple of encounters don’t go well and ends with Miles all wet, frustrated and annoyed. Then a hiking mishap changes everything between them. The incident allows them to see another side of the other, a side that intrigues and attracts them. When she moves into one of the owners cabin for the summer, Nora and Miles get an opportunity to get to know each other better. Their friends do their best to encourage and support them. The enemies soon become friends, then lovers even though both are aware that their time together is temporary. Both had envied the relationships of several of Miles’ fellow owners, but hadn’t expected to fall in love that summer. With their very different backgrounds and lifestyles, do these two want a future together or is this just a summer fling?

I enjoyed the banter and snark between Nora and Miles, her easy athleticism and his determination to keep up with her. They both have their strengths and weaknesses, but they complement each other very well. They do tend to get stuck in their own heads, letting the doubts and fears take over, but their friend help them to sort it all out. They both want their relationship to work and are willing to make changes and compromises. This endearing book has my full recommendation.

In the 4th book of the Lakeview Harbor Series, you meet one of the owners Milo and the adventure guide Nora. They start off having a rocky relationship, if you can call it that. It seems whenever the two are near each other issues happen and they end up getting on each other’s nerves. One day, he doesn’t listen to advice from his friend and he takes the wrong trail to try and prove a point. What happens when he is out there is that he needs up needing help because he falls. Nora rushes out there and saves him. When she is saving him, he admits his feelings for her and kisses her. He doesn’t remember any of it when they get back and she lets it got, but she keeps thinking about it until one day when she confronts him about it. From then on out they have a different look on each other and they actually go on their feelings that they have for each other.
Both Milo and Nora are not people that are going to settle down, or know how to have a real relationship. He is to involved with his work and over thinking things, and she is one that is thinks it and then acts. They are the complete opposite the nerdy guy and the adrenaline junkie. Turns out then are perfect for each other and they make the best come out on themself. He learns what it’s like to actually slow down, and see/ try new things. She gets to see what is like to open someone’s eye while being shown what it’s like to spoiled. While they have their ups and downs and the difficulties it is having a long term relationship they over come that. He has some surprises for her. Then one day he comes to her rescue when she encounters a situation at work. He happens to be when she needed him most.
This was a great read, and while you can really get pulled into their life you really feel like you are there with them and living at the resort. While there is no real spice, I feel like it doesn’t need to have any to make this story complete. I think that it’s written well enough that it does not matter. I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait to read the next one in the series.

#Resort Crush is the fourth book in the Lakeview Harbor series and I've enjoyed every minute we've spent at the Lakeview Harbor Resort!

Nora Wilder is an adventure guide who has never put down roots and is always looking for her next adventure. She ends up coming to work at Lakeview Harbor Resort and for the first time she finally feels like maybe she has found a place she could belong.

Milo Keene has been friends with the other investors at Lakeview Harbor Resort since they were kids. It was a no-brainer for him to get involved, but he really only comes into town when they need him to and he is much more into spreadsheets and keeping to a schedule than he is anything to do with adventuring and the outdoors!

Nora and Milo don't get off on the best foot the first few times they meet and they both really want to avoid each other. Even though they haven't gotten off to the best start, when the chips are down, Nora ends up helping Milo in a way no one else was able to. They begin to learn more about one another and they realize that maybe first impressions weren't exactly right. They spend time together and suddenly they figure out that there is more to like about one another than not. The question is, can they make something work between them given Milo lives on the opposite coast in Seattle?

Milo and Nora really were a tale of opposites attract, but I loved it. I appreciated the struggle that Nora was having with the way Milo lived provided she has always relied on herself and so beginning to learn that someone else wants to take care of you took some getting used to. I also loved how Milo learned to step out of his comfort zone and do some new to him things. He also had to learn to compromise a bit, which was fun to see.

This was a witty, heartwarming romance and I loved it! I'm ready for what's to come next!

I can’t believe we’re almost to the end of this series. I have to say that every book keeps getting better and better. This book has given us a sort of enemies (light on the enemies) to lovers trope. It was kind of funny when Nora would splash Milo with her jet ski or her expensive mistake of hitting his drone however when Slater had to have a talk with Nora because Milo had had enough, that is when things changed. Nora and Milo started hanging out together and then when Milo decided to have a little adventure and didn’t pay attention to the surroundings and he ended up getting hurt and Nora went to his rescue. After this things changed and started becoming a little romantic between them and then something more. I liked how she and Axel bonded about being with extremely wealthy people and the challenges that come with that. It was nice that Nora was helping Milo come into her world a little more and he shared his world with her. However when things started getting serious and they were starting to have conversations about what would happen when winter hit and there weren’t a lot of outdoor activities and Nora didn’t want to go to Seattle full time and not pay her own way, the tried long distance. That worked for one week. Milo however is making plans on his end behind the scenes and shows up to surprise Nora but she’s taken on a tour last minute and ends up in a somewhat dangerous situation and Milo saves the day. I love that all signs are pointing towards Milo ending up with the beautiful girl and how he made a major change with his company to be there for her. We also had a lot of updates with our amazing characters and Slater is going to stay for the season or at least until January. His story is next and I have a feeling I might know who his heroine is going to be and if I’m right, that will be so exciting. Great book!

Enemies to friends to lovers, *chef’s kiss* perfect.

Samantha Chase wrote Milo and Nora with the best banter and the closest group of friends supporting them. Miles, one of the owners of Harbortown Resort, and the ‘nerd’ of the group, is spending the next couple of months at the resort to get all of the digital systems in place and running. He’s also scouting a place for an amphitheater they can use for outdoor entertainment functions. He’s frustrated by one of the activities directors, as she destroyed his expensive equipment. Nora is on site at the request of her best friend, one of the owners of Harbortown Resort, to run the outdoor activities. She thinks Milo is trying to ruin the natural beauty of the resort for monetary gain. They are at odds, to put it mildly. Actually, they can’t stand to be in each other’s presence. When an accident occurs and they end up spending some time together, they are able to get past their defenses and get to know one another.

The fabulous banter between these two is off the charts great! I love the relationship Milo has with his childhood friends as they work to restore the once great resort. My heart broke for him as we learned of his past and his inner thoughts. I love that Nora was able to work her way into his heart and past his defenses. Likewise, Milo was the perfect man to remind Nora that not all men are bad. She has a lot to overcome and learn to trust again, but the steadiness and persistence of Milo were just what she needed.4

Ms. Chase excels at giving us stories with large found families in small town settings that captivate you and hold on to you until the end! I’ve loved every book in this series, and am looking forward to the next one.

Yet another hit in this amazing series filled with old friends coming together to fix up the resort! In this one, Nora and Milo will steal your heart! Wildfire and spreadsheet meet, and their attraction will pull you in and not let you go! 5 Resort stars for this one!
Nora is working at the resort as an employee who leads guests on hikes, and other adventures that the hotel has for guests. She has finally found her home, a place where she belongs, that is until she continues to have run ins with one of the owners, Milo, though she didn't realize he was an owner! When she's given a warning, she does her best to behave, but its not easy. The last thing she wants to do is lose this job. While she and Milo get to know each other, she see's the deeper side of him, and gets to know him, and finds there is a lot more to him than just his spreadsheets.
Milo has always been a smart guy, and has succeeded in all he's done. He's thankful for his friends, all of whom he met spending summers at this very resort! He owns his company back in Seattle, and is working remotely while setting every thing up at the resort, and it's all good, except for Nora, who not only destroyed his drone, but continues to harass him! He wants her gone, until his good friend explains her to him. Now he wants to get to know her and all she does for the resort.
These two, once they get past their differences, they will get to know each other, and share some wild times together!
This is another hit in this series! You will fall for these two so hard! If you haven't started this series yet, what are you waiting for! Grab this one asap!!

This is book four in The Lakeview Harbor series and it is Nora and Milo’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Nora had just got her dream job as a adventure guide at The Lakeview Harbor Resort and really enjoyed her work and next thrill but when she constantly butted heads with Milo who is one of the owners of the resort it could derail all of her plans. Milo is a investor in the resort along with his friends and it makes sense especially for a man who lives for spreadsheets and numbers until the latest hire who is the new adventure guide makes his life hell by taking him out of his comfort zone as the one thing that Milo is and that is a outdoor type of man. Milo and Nora have great chemistry but are the total opposite of each other in every single way and yet even with all there ups and downs along the way they just seem to gel together but with all their differences and communication problems will they ever realise that they are perfect together and for each other and deserve a happy ending. I absolutely love Nora and Milo together and even though there is a lot of push and pull between them you find yourself hoping that they can sort out all there problems and get the future together that they both want and deserve. This is the first book that I have read in this series and I loved everything about it and can’t wait to read more books by this author in the future. I definitely recommend you read this book and you will not be disappointed.

Loved Milo and Nora
This is book 4 in the Lakeview Harbour series which follows Milo and Nora’s journey to finding happiness.
Nora has come to the Harbour to work with Slater at the resort as an Adventure guide, she is ready to set down roots and to finally concentrate on her personal life.
Milo, one of the owners has come to the Harbour from Seattle to help get certain parts of the resort set up.
As the billionaire tech guy, he works far too much and has got to the stage where he wants more out of life and is bored and lonely.
Nora and Milo had a rocky start and end up antagonising each other each time they meet.
Until one too many instances has Slater intervening and Nora realising that if she wants to keep her job she needs to stop with her attitude to Milo.
The pair even go as far as liking each other once they start talking, then realising their feelings and the chemistry they feel for each other go far beyond friendship.
This was a great addition to the series and I enjoyed watching Milo’s growth from the nerdy tech guy to the confident man that gets his woman.
I absolutely love this series and look forward to more stories in the Lakeview Harbour Resort.
As always I enjoyed listening to the audiobook narrated by Rebecca Gibel, it flowed beautifully and her voice is so pleasant to listen to.
Thank you to Dreamscape Media, NetGalley and Samantha Chase for the opportunity of listening to this audiobook.

Samantha Chase is one of my top go-to, one-click authors. I can count on her to bring up my spirits with her excellent romcoms.

Milo has always intrigued me - he marches to the beat of his own drum and had trouble fitting in. He was highly intelligent and skilled in technology at a young age, but the resort crew loved him anyway. He made a highly successful career of it and is living big in Seattle. Nora is extremely outgoing loves leading adventurous tours, sleeping in tents, and being very chill doing what she loves - Milo’s complete opposite.

Milo and Nora get off to a very rocky start (a la damaged equipment), and purposely do things to irritate the other - until a scary situation happens and Nora’s quick reaction saves Milo... he’s pretty smitten from then, even though they both still fight it.

Watching this very mis-matched pair navigate through their relationship is absolutely everything I needed in a book right now! I hung on every word, and watching them bloom when it was so unexpected - yeah, you all need to read this excellent opposites attract, workplace, enemies to lovers book. You will not regret it! Could be standalone, but best with the whole series.

Lakeview Harbor is nearly complete now… which makes me sad because I love this group of friends and what they are doing so much! Only one book left - Slater. I can hardly wait, but I don’t want it to end, either… I highly recommend everyone picks up this series - it’s a warm hug from your friends!

Thank you to the author for the advance copy. This is my honest review.

I really enjoyed this sweet and spicey 'opposites attract' romance! Nora Wilder is the adventure guide at Lakeview Harbor Resort and loves the thrills she gets there. Milo Keene is one of the resorts partners and is an adorable tech nerd who doesn't see the appeal of the outdoors, but loves the friendships he found there. He and Nora clash at first, but finally find a truce and begin to apreciate each other's strengths and weaknesses. As they start to spend time together, they take a chance on opening up their hearts, and their fiery chemistry is too hard to ignore. They help each other step out of their comfort zones, and learn to appreciate adventure and stillness. But Milo's tech business is in Seattle, and is only at the resort for a few months. As his time to go home draws near, will their new found relationship survive long distance? I really fell hard for Milo and Nora. They help each other feel grounded, accepted, safe, and loved, making me cheer hard for them to be happy together. I also love seeing more of all their friends who add so much fun, support, and heart to this delightful story.
Rebecca Gibel continues to narrate this series and delivers all the wit, emotion, and steam beautifully. I really enjoyed listening to her performance as she brought this fun, engaging, emotional, and steamy romance to life.

Samantha never disappoints. Whether she’s writing an open-door or closed-door romance, she always delivers a story that completely captures my heart. Resort Crush is another wonderful addition to the Lakeview Harbour Resort series.

Milo is a reserved, spreadsheet-loving nerd who prefers structure and routine, while Nora is the resort’s adventurous outdoor coordinator whose free-spirited nature seems to constantly get under his skin. Their opposites-attract dynamic creates plenty of entertaining moments from the very beginning.

When Milo finds himself in trouble after venturing out on a hike alone, Nora comes to his rescue and discovers there is far more to him than his rigid exterior suggests. As they spend more time together, an undeniable connection forms, and friendship soon blossoms into something much deeper.

However, with Milo living in Seattle and Nora recently receiving a promotion at the resort, their growing relationship faces some difficult challenges. Both want a future together, but they must decide whether they are willing to make the sacrifices needed to overcome the distance between them.

Heartwarming, charming, and filled with plenty of emotion, Resort Crush is a delightful romance that takes readers on a beautiful journey as Milo and Nora navigate life's obstacles in search of their happily ever after.

Another awesome book in this series! I absolutely love Milo and Nora! They are so cute together! They are total opposites and do not like each other much at first, but you know how there is always that fine line. When they realize there is attraction there and they act on it, it definitely complicates things. Even as one of the owners, Milo was never planning on staying at the resort once his project was done, his life and business is across the country and he feels completely out of his element there. Nora came to the resort at the request of Slater one of the other owners for this specific job and is completely in her element there.
As their feelings deepen it becomes clear that something has got to give.
Of course we get the HEA we hope for and for me it was better than expected!
Loved every moment of their journey even when things get difficult and downright scary for Nora. I also loved getting more of the other guys and their significant others from the other books. The family they have created there is special and so heartwarming.
Can’t wait to see what Samantha has in store for us in the next book!

Nora and Milo are complete opposites, which makes for the perfect mix of chaos, tension, and hilarious banter. Nora is a fearless thrill-seeker who’s always chasing her next adrenaline rush, but deep down, she’s ready for something more stable in life. Milo, on the other hand, is a billionaire tech genius who would much rather spend time behind a laptop than doing anything remotely athletic or outdoorsy.
The two start off clashing constantly, but after a life-threatening event forces them together, their relationship begins to change in unexpected ways. As they spend more time together, feelings start to grow, feelings neither of them saw coming.
Despite coming from completely different worlds, Nora and Milo learn to adapt and make sacrifices for each other. Their chemistry develops quickly, but it feels fun and entertaining throughout the story.
Overall, this was such an easy, lighthearted read. If you love enemies-to-lovers romances with witty banter, opposites attract dynamics, and plenty of humor, this book is definitely worth picking up. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to continue the series!

Milo has always felt like the odd man out. He is the tech guy of the group, and he isn’t athletic. He is taking a sabbatical from his company and decides to spend time at the resort. The only problem is Nora seems to hate him and does everything she can to irritate him. Nora likes needling Milo because she thinks he needs to lighten up. She doesn’t know that he is part owner of the resort.
When she agrees to do a favor for her boss, she actually sees a different side to Milo and he also starts to see her differently. Part of his frustration is more due to him being intrigued by her than anything. When they get back from their flight, an accident happens and she thinks he is going to get her fired. Thus begins the two of them realizing they had the other pegged incorrectly.
I liked how he brought the calm/peace feeling that Nora was searching for while she brought out the more outgoing side of him. When she saved him and he admitted something it changed her and when she was in danger it let Milo show who he really was as well. I really enjoyed this book, in fact, I think it might be my favorite in the series. I received an ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.

Milo and Nora are such a sweet couple added into the Lakeview Harbor series! They started off at odds, with a few misunderstandings creating a lot of tension until those tensions break with a mild concussed confession.

Nora is at a point where she wants to put down roots. She is creating a family and future at The Lakeview Harbor Resort. When she forms a bond with Milo, she questions if the future she always envisioned what she still truly wants. Milo always thought his stay at the resort was short-lived even with being a part owner, but Seattle doesn't feel so much like home anymore with Nora there. Nora is the calm to his chaos, but the real dilemma is how to have both. His tech company and the woman who makes him feel complete?

What I love about this series is the found family, real life issues and how well they handle and communicate, and the chemistry and vulnerability between characters. Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and publisher of the eARC of Resort Crush. Another perfect love story from Samantha Chase.

Nora Wilder is always looking for her next thrill, so when she lands a job as an adventure guide at the Lakeview Harbor Resort, it finally feels like she’s found a place where she belongs. Except what seemed like a dream job quickly goes south after a series of run-ins with one of the resort’s owners threatens the future she’s building.

Investing in the resort where he met his closest friends made perfect sense to Milo Keene. But for someone who lives for spreadsheets, participating in any of the resort’s outdoor activities is more than a little outside his comfort zone. And that’s not even counting the resort’s newest adventure guide who seems determined to terrorize him.

Nora and Milo’s relationship started antagonizing each other. But slowly as they spend time together, that changes to love. They are two opposites who make perfect sense together. This was such a beautiful and heartwarming romance - left me with a warm fuzzy feeling.

4 1/2 Stars for this enemies-to-lovers romance!

Another great romance from Ms Chase! I love her style of writing … I wanted to go stay at that resort! It was nice for a change that the MMC wasn’t a playboy and that the FMC was the outgoing one. Even though Milo and Nora were total opposites, they were perfect for each other. This book had me laughing one minute and swooning the next. A great addition to the series and I can’t wait for Slater’s story next!

Milo is one of the owners of the resort and is the person responsible for all the tech stuff … in other words, he’s a bit of a nerd. Nora is an adrenaline junkie and has her dream job of being a guide at the resort. Milo and Nora get off to a bad start and have an instant dislike for one another. But remember that fine line between love and hate? Well they’re gonna cross it several times.

I received an ARC courtesy of the author.

Really enjoy this series. This is book four in The Lakeview Harbor series and it is Nora and Milo’s story. They are total opposites and do not like each other much at first, but you know how there is always that fine line. When they realize there is attraction there and they act upon, it definitely complicates things. I like the friends group and the support they give each other the feeling of family being the ones you choose. Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and publisher of the opportunity of Resort Crush. Another wonderful love story from Samantha Chase.

Resort Crush is Nora Wilder and Milo Keene’s entertaining and heartwarming romance. It’s book four in the Lakeview Harbor Series and it didn’t take me long to become invested in this couple’s journey.
Nora is an adventure guide who is working at Lakeview Harbor resort and that’s where she meets Milo one of the group of friends who invested in the resort. These two are complete opposites, she loves the outdoors and has never put down roots and he is more at home with spreadsheets than outdoor spaces……..
From the moment they meet sparks fly and not in a good way but we all know that opposites attract and it seems this couple’s have an inch they need to scratch. So will Milo trade his spreadsheets for some adventure and will Nora finally want to settle in one place.
I love this couple and I found myself cheering them on. This is a well written, witty and heartwarming read that drew me in and didn’t let me go until the final line was read.

This was the first book in this series I read and I absolutely loved it. Milo & Nora are complete opposites but like they say opposites attract! These two will take you on such a fun ride throughout this book. I laughed, swooned, smiled and was left with a wonderful ending.

Nora is at the point in her life where she wants to put down roots. She's creating a family and friends here at the resort and when she discovers Milo is part owner she doesn't want her dreams to blow up in smoke. But as they get to know each other she sees a deeper side of him and she finds out there is more to him than just a spreadsheet.

I loved getting to know these two and the found family that they built on this resort. I can't wait to go back and read the other books in this series! If you want a feel good romance book then I HIGHLY recommend this book!

Thank you Samantha Chase for allowing me to read this ARC for my honest opinion.

Resort Crush is the fourth romance in the Lakeview Harbor series. Nora is the adventure guide at Lakeview Harbor Resort and Milo is one of the owners who handles the technology side of the business. Nora and Milo couldn’t be more different from each other and the clash from the get go, but it’s not long before those sparks are starting to fly for other reasons. They are an unlikely pairing, but perfect for each other. Will they be able to find their happily ever after?

I’ve read the rest of this series and have enjoyed everyone’s story so far and this one was no exception. I thought Nora and Milo were perfect together and loved how their story progressed. I am invested in the Lakeview Harbor Resort and I like seeing how everyone else’s happily ever after is playing out during this romance. This book was easy to get into and get through. I listened to the audiobook and finished it in a day. This was another enjoyable romance in this series and I can’t wait to see what comes next.
