Kiss the blarney stone. Have a bowl of Irish stew and a pint of Guinness in a local pub. Pay homage to literary giants W. B. Yeats, James Joyce, or Frank McCourt. Play championship golf courses. Whether you’re a book lover or a golf nut…a history buff or a Celtic music fan…a full-fledged adventurer or a laid-back sight-seer, you’ll find plenty to enjoy in this guide that gives you the scoop Like every For Dummies travel guide, Ireland For Dummies , 4th Edition helps you make the most of your vacation. It No, this book can’t tell you where to find a leprechaun, but if you’re looking for other Irish sites, attractions or adventures, you’re in luck with this guide.
I really enjoyed reading this book about Ireland. It was very fun to learn all about the different things and the history of Ireland. I definitely would recommend this book to others as you can learn a lot from this. The information was very helpful and knowledgeable to someone that doesn't know anything about Ireland. The maps in this book are very cool.
If you're planning a trip to Ireland, this is a FABULOUS guide! You'll find information on everything from hotels to walking tours, to how to prevent getting sick overseas. I'm going to read it again when we're actually planning a trip.
Just starting to plan a trip sometime.... I like how the "dummnies" books are set up. Lots of general information, history in addition to specific area information.
I zoomed through this book today. So incredibly helpful, especially for a "dummy" when it comes to Irish culture. Even more excited for my trip to Ireland this summer!!
