This is the first book in the series, A Woman Scorned. It follows the lives of women who were betrayed by their loved ones. Each woman will get her own duet or trilogy. Alicia is the first of three books, leading to her eventual HEA!

I was born in 1974 in Dagenham, Essex, England! I moved out of Essex in 2002 and moved to South Yorkshire and then settled in Derbyshire in 2005.

I've got four sons, one daughter and seven cats! I'm still working out who is more trouble, the children or cats! My children and I love cooking together, movie nights and music.

I've written stories ever since I was thirteen but I never had the courage to publish one before. But we all know the famous song... This is me, from the Greatest Showman. It gave me courage to Indie publish and be myself! Never under estimate the power of a good song!

My favourite holiday is Halloween and I'm known as the crazy lady in my street when Halloween hits! My love of Halloween even carries over to Christmas when, alongside my big "normal" tree I also have a Jack Skeleton tree!

My favourite movies vary, Star Wars, LOTR, Pirate Movie, Amazing Mr Blunden, Phantom of the Opera, Memphis Belle., finally Olympus/London has Fallen. Music depends on my mood, country, pop, classical, even bagpipes!

Lots of angst and a cliffhanger

This book starts from high school going on for 15 years. Alicia has gone through transformations throughout the book. There are some twist and turns and some shocking revelations. I really like some of the friends that Alicia makes. I thought this series was about more than 1 woman but it looks like this is series is going to be about Alicia.

Loved this book i devoured it iculd not stop reading it a great Sunday of reading but cliffhanger nooooo. I need the next one right now i need to know what happens.

This one is interesting, not sure what to label it, kinda romance, but only if you count watching it unravel, there are two potential new love interests for Alicia, but more it feels like watching Alicia find herself again, while everyone else and their brother is all about taking revenge on Oliver. That last bit sounds bad, but that is farther from the truth. Oliver is so reprehensible that you love to see his own actions coming back to him, he's definitively finding out what FAFO means. The funniest things is that he doesn't see himself as the villain at all, it's all someone else's fault. I was so glad that Alicia found good people to have her back as the went through everything. I like how her past is back in play, also having her back. Was very surprised to see the one connection right at the end. I find I'm very much looking forward to seeing where things go from here and hope that we see the downfall of Oliver in a big way.

I really loved the direction Elizabeth & Wynter have gone with this new series. This is a departure from Elizabeth's normal MC and paranormal themes and I'm all for it! Alicia and Oliver were high school sweethearts until they weren't. After a tragic event, Alicia finished high school and headed to college. While there Oliver wormed his way back in. After years of emotional abuse, Alicia finally realizes what is happening and moves on. Luckily for her, she meet a group a few years earlier that brought out her real self, allowed her to have a successful career so she had a backup to Oliver's money. This book had the emotional ride you expect from Elizabeth. Be aware, there is cheating on page.

Love this new series!

Oh my goodness! The story pulled me in, and I am definitely hooked! I was reading, glanced down, and was at 42% complete. The next thing I know it is 4 a.m. and I am 92% complete. NOOOO! Cliffhanger! LOL.

Somehow, the characters are complex while parts of their personality wait to be explored in future books. There is plenty of foreshadowing and preparation for the next book in the series. Oliver makes a great villain.

Yes, there is a cliffhanger. I was left feeling like I was just below the crest of a hill and can not wait for the second book.

I will always hold a grudge against Beth's Texas from Rage MC. Oliver is joining Texas on my list!

Alicia thought she had a good life with Olvier her husband who had been obsessed with her for years only now shes starting to see the cracks it wasnt obsession it was abusive control and when his latest affair gets exposed Alicia gets a way put from an unlikely source, but she can hold her own with her own secrets. This story has you hooked! Its engaging throughout and well paced, with twists, whitty banter and more! ends on a cliffy, I cant wait for book 2

The Wife - Alicia is book 1 in the A Woman Scorned series. This one is a bit of a departure from what I've read from this author before but nonetheless a fantastic read. Alicia is a force to be reckoned with and Oliver will never know what hit him when he betrays Alicia. This story is intense, intriguing, dramatic and consuming. There’s big twists, turns and surprises in store! What a great read! I can't wait for book 2!

Just finished this book. What can is say to explain how much I enjoyed this read. I swear there isn't enough words. The characters are well developed and I enjoyed learning about them all. Alicia is going to be amazing once she finds herself again she is well on the way there and I can't wait to see what happens with Oliver. I could not get enough of reading this book and when it ended I wanted more

Emotional Rollercoaster

This story is both heartbreaking and inspiring, conveying the crucial message that healing is possible. Its realistic portrayal of the healing process makes it even more impactful. My heart broke for her and all she endured because of what he put her through. You do not know what to expect, but right from the beginning it drew me in. This does end in a cliffhanger. I can't wait for the next one to be released.

Alicia - A Woman Scorned

Noooooo what the ending it can’t be all ! Alicia has been through so much bullying, tragedy, heartbreak, being conditioned, and having to remind herself of who she is. Loved the Five Founding members and their wife’s. I just felt like throat punching her ex Oliver what a horrible human being. And the past coming out of nowhere and Cain ? I need a Cain and Alicia book please. Drama and war in the tabloid’s. Again what happened at the end ?

An excellent read, it had me hooked from the first page. It was an interesting step away from Elizabeth’s usual storyline’s but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Cannot wait to get to the second book in this series,so many answers needed and a comeuppance guaranteed. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 💯❤️

an old favourite teamed up with a new author

I have loved and read all of Elizabeth’s books and this one is no different.
Wynter is a new author but after reading this book I’m looking forward to reading more of her work.
I can’t wait to see where the ladies take this series as I absolutely loved this book!

This book gave me first wives club with a twist and a more modern take with more backstory.

I really enjoyed this book, and appreciated POV chapters from various characters and not just the ones you would expect.

Impatiently waiting for book 2 to see where this goes.

What's next?

I was skeptical about this book, but was impressed that no shadows of rage was present! While I love the other series, I'm glad this was free of them! This book was great! I laughed, clutched my pearls, and wanted to start a bar fight with that prick. 😂😂😂 Hopefully the next book will be out soon enough, this isn't a series I will pass up!

Narcissistic man

Loved the book can’t wait until you add to this series. Unfortunately related so much with Alicia. When you give yourself completely to someone you love and they use you for their own personal gain without knowing you. Once you start to find yourself it’s amazing although the insecurities still linger from all that emotional abuse.

I love Elizabeth N. Harris’s books

I do not, however like this book. Hey, it’s okay not everything is going please everybody. I will continue to wait for the next Hellfire, Associates, Ghost Seekers Inc., and the other MC’s. I love these stories and characters. Thank you, Ms. Harris.

A Woman Scorned!

This is a brand new series and trope to me but I loved the story and can't wait to read more. Alicia is such a great character who after years of abuse, starts living a new life. I'm impatiently waiting for book 2

It took me a bit to get into this book but once I did WOW gotta say that I can’t wait to see where they take this series, it had me laughing out loud at times.
