best series

William Peter Grasso uses fictional characters to teach us about the conduct of the wars which are his subjects. These books are superb. The Miles family of warriors participate in an unlikely combination of combat specialties for any one person, but the stories provide a glimpse of the chaos, hubris, and valor of warriors.

These books are well researched, well written, and well edited. There are no jarring discontinuities, spelling mistakes, or story breaks.

These are great reads. You will enjoy them all.

Another

As expected from all his prior books, William Peter Grasso has written another great chapter in the " Miles" stories. Mr Grasso has the ability to combine truth and fiction while adding in a great story and all kinds of emotions. I have enjoyed every book I have have read. Looking forward to another in any of the series William Peter Grasso sends our way.

Great Book About Desert Storm

I’ll definitely be reading this again.
The news coverage of Desert Storm never got all the details correct.
This book describes the people and events that did not make it to the news.

A refreshing and inspiring historical novel told eloquently.

looking forward to the new books

Willy has an axe to grind against incompetent leaders. I suspect he’s been there, done that and has the t-shirt.

Another good one.

As above with a bit less blood. Desert Storm was a strategic win and I agree completely with the statement about those who led it.
