i haven’t read dark romance in a while and this was such a lovely read. i was rooting for Enzo and Evie so much!! Enzo is devastated about Evie losing her memory, and his emotions feel like a storm he can’t control. but as she slowly starts to remember their relationship, things begin to calm between them.

it’s Enzo refusing to let go, and Evie trying to find her way back to something her heart already remembers.

Evie is such a badass. she’s a hacker and still so fierce and fiery, even as she struggles to piece her memories back together. i loved how much fight she still had in her.

❝𝖳𝗁𝖾 𝖽𝗂𝖿𝖿𝖾𝗋𝖾𝗇𝖼𝖾 𝖻𝖾𝗍𝗐𝖾𝖾𝗇 𝗒𝗈𝗎𝗋 𝗉𝖺𝗋𝖾𝗇𝗍𝗌 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝗆𝖾 𝗂𝗌 𝗌𝗂𝗆𝗉𝗅𝖾. 𝖨 𝗐𝗈𝗎𝗅𝖽 𝗀𝗂𝗏𝖾 𝗆𝗒 𝗅𝗂𝖿𝖾 𝖿𝗈𝗋 𝗒𝗈𝗎𝗋𝗌. 𝖠𝗇𝖽 𝖨’𝗆 𝗀𝗈𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗍𝗈 𝗉𝗋𝗈𝗏𝖾 𝗂𝗍.❞

the yearning, the longing😩 Enzo would do just about anything for Evie. i’m obsessed. this book is full of morally grey characters and i ate it up.

the amnesia trope really gave them a second chance at each other, and i loved how fast-paced it was, it made it so easy to fly through.

i need more books like this!! i’m open to recommendations 🩶

This book feels like the summary of a seven-book mafia series, and honestly? I’m not even mad about it. I was spared so much stress with how fast-paced everything was. I later found out that all the couples in this book already had books in the original series and this is actually a spin-off, which suddenly made so much sense. Well… fair enough lol.

But I actually really liked this book. It had the romance, the life-threatening situations, the chaos, and all the found family moments I love.

Also, I desperately need Damon’s book. I can already smell the five-star rating coming. And I know, I just KNOW, it’s going to be forbidden love. It has to be. I need to calm down because this book isn’t even out yet. Ugh.

This book was angsty from the start to the very end and my god was this a sob fest. Amnesia romance isn’t everyone’s favourite trope but I love the angst and tension that comes along with it, especially as the person with intact memory starts going stir crazy and sad about their lover not remembering them. This book is connected to the authors Dark Angel series but you don’t need to read it before this book. Evie has lost her memory and is being forced to marry someone else while Enzo becomes a madman looking for her and will stop at nothing to find her and make her his again. Enzo is your typical dark broody morally grey mmc, but the “burn the world for you” vibe is extra strong. There’s also a thriller and romantic suspense part with a secret Syndicate that’s out to get Evie. It was pretty intense so check your trigger warnings, but the plot twists were horrifyingly good and had me completely stunned. It is a HEA and was so well deserved with everything they went through to get there. Despite the amnesia the chemistry between Evie and Enzo could not be ignored, he’s obsessed and she cannot stay away from this dangerous looking “stranger”. I loved them together, and Enzo was pretty funny and sarcastic too. Damon also seems like a pretty interesting character as well and I can’t wait to read his story. I give this a 4.5/5

This book was eveything! I loved it so much. I'm so excited to see what comes next because I'm wholey in for taking down the syndicate.

Evie and Enzo's story starts out with emotions in a tangle. The way this puts you on the edge of your seat from the very beginning, had me furiously turning those pages. The story itself is so fast paced, I read this one in 1 sitting. I personally could've used a bit more spice, but I loved that this dark romance was solely plot driven!

It’s been a while since I last read a dark romance with the amnesia trope, so I was all the more excited to dive into this book. Dark Memories was my very first book by K. Boozer, meaning I went in completely blind regarding the writing style, storytelling, etc. I was definitely not disappointed, and this will safely not be my last book by this author or from this world!

But let's start from the beginning: this book checked all my trope boxes. Mafia romance, second chance, amnesia trope?! Everything I love, and I have to say, it was all executed perfectly.

Enzo?! Enzo is officially one of my new favorites. The way he fought for Evie, and the sheer amount of yearning and longing... absolutely beautiful. Every time I read his POV, I fell a little harder for him because he was just so head over heels for Evie and would do anything—and I mean anything—for her. I also found it incredibly sweet how nervous he got during their "new" first date. But we also saw that he has a completely different side to him, because the spice was spicing. Just pure heat!

Now on to Evie. Like, girl, can we be best friends?! She is such a badass FMC, the likes of whom I haven't read in a long time. Seeing how she kept fighting after her accident and the massive betrayal by her parents was incredibly inspiring. Plus, she’s a hacker?! I loved reading about a smart, strong FMC for once, instead of the tropes you sometimes get in other dark romance books. At the same time, it was really beautiful to see her vulnerable side and how she struggled with not knowing who to trust. It made it even more rewarding to watch her and Enzo both fight so hard to find their way back to each other.

On top of that, I absolutely adored the found family aspect and the fact that she found her real family again (because family isn’t always blood). I can't wait to dive deeper into this universe, especially after getting glimpses of the other couples and their stories. This was also super helpful for new readers.

The only "negative" point—which isn’t even truly negative and totally depends on the reader—was the pacing for me. To be completely honest, a few points moved a bit too fast at times.

Other than that, this book was amazing, I’m so happy I read it, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Thank you so much to Love Notes PR for the ARC!

I can’t thank K. Boozer and Love Notes PR for the opportunity to read this ARC. This is a spin off of K. Boozers Dark Angels series and I highly recommend you read those first.

Believe me when I say I am OBSESSED with Enzo. That man would do anything for his Princess and it is 🥵. I am not usually one for the amnesia trope but this was done so well.

This was a quick, plot forward mafia romance with just the right amount of spice. I cannot wait to read Damon’s story next. I’m sure it’s going to top this one and I’ll be impatiently waiting to get my hands on it.

This was such a fast-paced romantic suspense read and honestly kept me hooked the entire time because there was constantly tension, danger, and emotional moments happening.

Evie wakes up in the hospital after a car accident with amnesia and no memory of the people around her — including Enzo and her best friend Rose. What immediately stood out to me was how even though Evie couldn’t remember her past, she instinctively knew something felt wrong about the life her parents were trying to force her back into.

Her parents tell her she’s engaged to a man she doesn’t trust or feel safe with, and I honestly loved that her instincts never fully disappeared even without her memories.

Then there’s Enzo.

The moment Evie sees him, she feels drawn to him immediately because he feels safe and familiar to her. Even without her memories, she recognizes him as the man from her dreams and someone important to her life.

I really loved how Enzo handled everything while Evie was recovering. He never tried to manipulate her or use her amnesia against her the way her parents did. Instead, he stayed patient, protective, and supportive while helping her piece together the truth about her past.

Evie was also such a strong FMC. I loved that she was intelligent, capable, and a hacker because it added another layer to her character beyond the romance storyline.

The amnesia storyline almost gave this book a second-chance romance feel because Evie and Enzo essentially had to rebuild their connection while she slowly regained her memories. And once the truth about the accident starts unraveling and they realize it wasn’t an accident at all? The suspense really picked up from there.

This definitely felt like a quick read because there was always something happening and the suspense kept the pacing moving the entire time.

Dark Memories is a dark mafia romance short story by K. Boozer and my first entry into the Dark Whispers universe — and honestly, it did exactly what a good series entry should do: left me wanting to go back and read everything I missed.

The Plot
Evie is at the center of something dangerous, and the story wastes no time letting you feel that. The scenes leading up to her losing her memory are genuinely gripping — I kept second-guessing every character, every motive. Who wants her dead? Who just wants her gone? Why? The way K. Boozer slowly peels back those answers kept me turning pages. The fog of Evie's amnesia plays out in a way that actually makes sense within the story's logic — her brain being actively kept hazy explains why things clear up as quickly as they do, even if the pacing of the amnesia arc felt slightly rushed on the surface.

What Stood Out
The way Evie's memories are returned to her in brief flashes was one of my favorite elements. Rather than a big dramatic "I remember everything" moment, it's intimate and incremental — each memory tied to a person proving themselves to her in real time. It made the trust-building feel earned rather than convenient.

Where It Could Have Gone Deeper
My biggest "what if" with this story is the crash. There's an angle where Evie loses her memory the old-fashioned way — trauma, not manipulation — and I found myself wondering how that version of the story would have unfolded. What if she'd been stuck with her family longer? How would Enzo's rescue have looked then? It felt like an unexplored thread that could have added another layer, and I hope future entries in this universe give us something in that space.

Verdict
If you're already invested in this mafia universe, this is a solid and satisfying read. If you're coming in fresh like I was, it works as a standalone enough to pull you in — but it will absolutely make you want to go back to the beginning. For a short story, it packs in a lot of heart, tension, and intrigue. Definitely worth the read, and I'm already eyeing the rest of the series.

Firstly thank you so much for lovenotesPR and the author for this ARC copy, this was an enjoyable read for beginning to end. I absolutely love the different tropes from amnesia, mafia, touch her and 💀, and a morally grey MMC.

We start off with Evelyn “Evie” being on the run, trying to send off something to her boyfriend and trying to protect him and her loved ones from something she discovered. When she tries to get away, she was involved in a car crash that leaves her in the hospital, changing everything for her. When she wakes up, her memories are gone, and she’s with her parents who she thought cared for her. They tell her so many different stories, and she’s confused on what’s real. But when Enzo comes to take her home, he started revealing the truth. She doesn’t know what’s real, who to believe which in turn makes her angry at everyone and everything.

As she slowly begins to remember and things come back to her, she remembers the truth and leaves her with betrayal and dark secrets from both her parents.

Both of the characters had such a strong connection and chemistry, but during the memory loss, it just seemed like FMC was against everything and everyone who was actually trying to help her. Enzo and all the family was trying to tell her the truth and she had a giant wall fighting them at every turn. She refused to get close to Enzo, and if it wasn’t for her other incident that helped her memories come back, I don’t believe she would have ever tried to give him a chance and hear him out. Everything did turn out good in the end, but felt as if some unimportant parts were dragged out while the more eventful moments were rushed.

I still did enjoy this story, I just wish there would have been a bit more development in the plot, and left out some unimportant parts that didn’t really add to the story. I wish there was more on Enzo trying to win her back, but overall this was pretty good.

⚠️SPOILER ALERT⚠️

It isn’t necessary, but I do recommend reading the other 3 books connected to this series (they’re available on KU), they’re sooo good and that way you’ll have a better understanding and connection of and to all the characters🫶🏼

“…when it comes to you, I have no discipline. I have no restraint.”

I really liked this book, maybe not as much as the others, but still so good. Enzo is the perfect protective and obsessed book boyfriend. And Evie is strong and capable, even with amnesia. I love the way their story gets told, a mix of flashbacks and current moments🥰

“I don’t tell her about how I pay a local florist extra every month to carry this rare combination year-round because I know they’re her favorites. Just like how I don’t tell her that I bring home a fresh batch every month.”

It’s impossible to not feel extreme empathy with them. I don’t remember reading a book with characters who’s got such a strong love and connection from the start and then having to find each other again. It was, at times, a frustrating journey, but the satisfaction at the end was worth it👏🏼

And loved that my home country got an honorable mention “Denmark is a wild and beautiful place, untamed and free”, always makes me happy, especially since we’re such a small country🇩🇰

This was such a fast paced Mafia romance, but i appreciated that a lot. The plot was steady, the characters were enjoyable. At times I was feeling all for Enzo and then Evie, poor evie. Her parents sucked horribly. She didnt deserve half of what they did to her but we also will never get what happened. I truly enjoyed reading this one and cant wait for more from this author! I definitely want to catch up with the rest of their books and cant wait to do so. If you enjoy fast paced mafias and everything that comes with the messy side of that, this is your book!

Thank you so much @lovenotes.pr and @author_k.boozer for letting me be apart of your journey to making this book huge!

Please check trigger warnings before reading.

A spicy dark mafia romance with amnesia, secrets, obsession and plenty of drama. This was such a fun and easy read for me, I ended up finishing it in one sitting because I just kept wanting to know what was going to happen next.

Evie wakes up without her memories and suddenly doesn’t know who she can trust or what parts of her life are actually real. Watching her try to piece everything together while everyone around her seems to have their own version of the truth made the story really addictive.
I had a giggle at the glue situation 😬

Enzo is very much the dark, obsessive, morally grey MMC who will stop at nothing to get Evie back and make her remember who she is. Their chemistry was intense from the start and the spicy scenes were definitely spicing 🔥

There’s a lot happening throughout the story with family drama, secrets, tension and twists, but even though this is connected to the Dark Angels series, I never felt lost having not read the previous books. The characters were easy to follow.

An entertaining read, fast paced and kept me invested the whole way through. I’m especially curious to see what happens with Damon next because he definitely caught my attention.

( I received an ARC copy of this book, however all opinions are my own)

I was a little apprehensive about this book for two reasons one being that it is a standalone in a connected series and I had not read the others, the other was the amnesia plot. Normally these things might put me off but for some reason I was drawn to this book.

However I didn’t need to worry, I devoured it, I could have read the whole thing in one session if I had had a bit more time. If you have not read the other books I wouldn’t worry about that, the author gives enough info to fill the blanks whilst still making me want to read the other books to see how things played out exactly. The amnesia plot was also well done I think. At least enough to make me angry at some of the characters anyway. Evie was great, I warmed to her straight away, and she immediately had me hooked and worried for her, but also cheering her on. Enzo was perfect, the way he dealt with everything was understandable. They had great chemistry, I loved them together and the spice was spicy, just the right amount.

The book really had me on edge and worried for all the characters. The plot was good, enough to make me want to read the other books and then anymore that come out in this world, I like secrets and I need to know them all. When an author builds a world I like to dive into it when I can. I also really liked Rose, all the side characters were great and added something but Rose was really interesting and she seemed like a badass.

The story flowed well and was easy to follow, the world building was any to understand., I liked the writing and the story had tension and heart, with a few funny moments. I think anyone who likes dark romance, mafia stories would enjoy this and probably the rest of the connecting series too. I will defiantly go back and read them

so this is a new to me author, and i love me a good ass dark mafia romance. like i am a mafia slut okay? 💀💀

so this story follows evie and enzo. evie has lost her memories and has no idea what her life was before her amnesia. she wakes up, and she’s supposed to get married to the last guy she remembers.

she has not a clue what is happening and is fighting tooth and nail for those memories back.

now we have enzo who has been trying to find her for a long time now and finally finds out where she is- the hospital. he goes to see her, finds out how confused she is, and realises that she does not have her memories.

even without her memories, evie still feels contented to enzo in some way. she just doesn’t understand why or how at the moment.

but all changes when she finally gets her memories back..

the flow in this book was so good like i love me a good book that is like butter. this was definitely that. i loved the way everything blended into each other as events happened. this book was well written in my eyes.

if you love a dark mafia romance, resilient FMC with amnesia, fight for survival, and crazy “fiancés,” then this is for you. enjoy 🤭

⭐️ 4/5 ⭐️

The book starts off with Evie sending a package to her love, Enzo, mentions the package is “evidence”. Suspish. She gets into a car accident and loses all her recent memories.
Her family are evil and feed her lies - making her think Enzo is the baddie in this situation. My heart broke for him.

I haven’t read the previous series - I didn’t realise I needed to but the author was really helpful with her writing and there was lots of flashbacks/memories which helped catch me up!

Enzo and co kidnap/rescue Evie, and there starts her regaining her memories, building new ones and rediscovering what the package is that she originally sent in the beginning of the book. CRAZY stuff. The ending is wild and I loved every second of it!

I wish there was more of a buildup with Evie and Enzo’s renewing their relationship after her memories come back, feel like it was a bit rushed. Enzo was giving me a little whiplash with what he wanted as well with Evie. I’m sure it would’ve been easier to understand more things if I had read the previous series - but I definitely will go back and read them now! I really enjoyed this book 🫶🏼🖤

I received an advance review copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This book was exactly the palette cleanser I needed.

The writing style instantly pulled me in with cinematic conversational prose that felt immersive and effortless to read. The narration flowed naturally, modern without feeling overly online or cringey, and the exposition was woven in smoothly instead of feeling like a lore dump.

The plot moves fast but never feels rushed. While the lost-memory/relearning-love premise is familiar, the execution made it feel emotionally engaging and fresh instead of cliché. I also appreciated that this worked well as a standalone spinoff.

The characters were easily my favorite part. The FMC stayed surprisingly level-headed despite the confusion surrounding her memory loss, which made her feel believable rather than frustrating. And the MMC? Full “burn the world for her” energy without losing his own personality or presence. Their dynamic felt messy, loyal, emotional, and perfectly imperfect together.

Overall, this was immersive, addictive, and genuinely enjoyable to read.

Dark Memories by K. Boozer was an emotional, chaotic mafia romance that completely sucked me in. The amnesia trope brought so much angst and tension, and watching Enzo absolutely spiral trying to get Evie back had me hooked from start to finish. He’s the definition of “burn the world for her,” while Evie’s journey through lost memories, betrayal, and danger kept the suspense high the entire time.
The pacing is super fast — honestly, it felt like the highlight reel of a long mafia series — but somehow that made it even more addictive. Between the found family moments, shocking twists, romance, and constant life-threatening chaos, I flew through this book. Enzo’s sarcasm added some much-needed humor between all the emotional damage too.
Even without reading the original Dark Angel series, I still enjoyed this story a lot, though I can definitely see how longtime readers would get even more out of it. And now I desperately need Damon’s book because that man is radiating future favorite energy already.

Dark Memories by author K.Boozer was such a binge-worthy read 🫶🏻
The dynamic between Enzo and Evie??? The dual P.O.V!!! Absolutely insane. Power couple energy from start to finish. The tension, the devotion, the “I will burn the world to get you back” vibes... I absolutely ate that UP.
And Enzo… that man was down astronomically.
But can we TALK about Damon because somehow he ended up being one of my favourite characters 😭 every time he appeared I already knew that guns would be blazing soon 🤭 no further spoilers!
The whole memory loss/hidden truths aspect kept me hooked the entire time and I genuinely flew through this book in a pretty short time! If you love morally grey men, obsessive devotion, forbidden romance, mafia drama, and relationships that make you stare at the wall afterwards… definitely add this to your TBR.
I do think the storyline leaned a little conventional at times and could’ve had even higher stakes/more to lose emotionally, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it and I’m really excited to see what author K. Boozer cooks up in her future books!

As noted, this is within a series, but this could be read as a standalone as I did. I'm sure though reading the book previous to this may help understand Evie and Enzo's relationship background.

This was a good mafia type dark romance mixed with mystery. Evie has something and knows something but she loses her memory but manage to put whatever she has somewhere so whomever dangerous doesn't get to it. She wakes up losing her memory and her family tells her she and her fiance are getting married soon. So while that is going on with planning her wedding, Enzo unaware wonders what is going on with her. Once he finds out about her accident, he kidnaps her and different events occur.

While the spice and chemistry was so there, it would have been nice if author gave a little prologue of their relationship besides the action that was shown to why she had to find something and hide it.
I'll definitely read the first to see their background history on how they started, but want to read about her friend which the first book is about.

ARC Review 📚

Okay so first of all, Enzo is dreamy! And the fact that Evie's favorite flowers are the same as mine? The forget-me-nots, LOVE IT!!😍

This is a really good book, I really like how Evie handled the amnesia and also everyone around her. The Mafia/mystery vibes are definitely something I always fall for.
The characters are great and the story itself is amazing! Enzo captured my heart straight away. Now I have to read the other books in this universe too and I hope that Damon gets his own🖤

And omg, that twist at the end!? I did NOT see that coming!😱

Only thing to "complain" about is that I wanted more spice. It could have made the chemistry between Evie and Enzo even more palpable 🖤
BUT I always want more spice, so it doesn't really matter 😅🤣 And my opinion about that doesn't make the book any less amazing!😍

"Well, I was planning on burying my face in that beautiful p*ssy of yours." - Enzo

I am a very new reader to dark Romance and this did not disappoint and has left me wondering what other books I've been missing out on!

I went into this completely blind and didn't actually realise this book was part of a series, however that being said I don't feel like I missed out on anything by not reading the previous books first.

Dark Memories follows Evie Bennett and Enzo Accardi.
There was tension, spice, wanting, violence and torture.
I absolutely loved everything about this book, I know some people don't like Tropes like amnesia but this was written really well and read even better.

Evie loses her memories after being ran off the road, and her parents are forcing her to marry another man who isnt Enzo.
Meanwhile, Enzo is burning the world down trying to find Evie and uncover the truth. He is your typical bad boy and my god did I love him!
Please do check trigger warnings before reading!!

📝 Review:

✨ What happens when the only person who remembers your love is the one fighting the hardest to bring you back? This dark mafia romance delivers amnesia, obsession, suspense, and a hero who would burn down the world for the woman he loves. 🔥🖤

✨ What I loved:
✔️ The amnesia trope gave the romance a second-chance feel as Evie and Enzo slowly rebuilt their connection.
✔️ Enzo’s devotion was everything—protective, patient, and willing to risk absolutely everything for Evie.
✔️ The suspense, family secrets kept the story fast-paced and impossible to put down.

💭 What I wished for:
👉🏻 A little more emotional depth during some of the memory recovery moments.

📚 If you’re craving:
🖤 Amnesia romance
🔥 Morally grey, obsessed MMC
🔫 Dark mafia romance
💥 Romantic suspense & plot twists

…this book should be at the top of your TBR.

Thank you Love NotesPR for an ARC of this. This is part of a series where it’s an interconnected standalone, so you can still read this one without having to read the previous books. This was the first book in the series that I have read and I enjoyed it and now I went to read the rest of the books. I haven’t read many romance books that have the amnesia plot in it, so I was really excited to dive into this. I loved the scandals, the secrets and the drama. Enzo and Evie have a history, but once Evie gets in an accident and loses some of her memory, she does not know who’s telling the truth and who’s telling a lie. Enzo is trying to get to the bottom of why he has a drift between himself and Evie and Evie is trying to figure out if what her parents are saying is the truth.

This book kind of blew me away! I wasn’t sure I would fully get into it due to it being a spinoff of a series that I didn’t read, but I received the ARC copy and DAMN! It starts out with plenty of excitement and there are some twists and turns in there. Evie is trying to escape someone and send a confidential package to Enzo, but then she is in a car accident and develops amnesia. She has to regain her memory to save her relationships with the only people who care about her. Enzo and Evie have great chemistry. It is a delicious love story that shows how some people are just meant to be together no matter what! 🌶️🌶️🌶️ for spice, because it is spicy but not like take a break and get a grip before coming back to it spicy. Thank you Love Notes PR for the advanced copy.

Disclaimer: I received an ARC of the book.

I forgot how much I enjoy a dark romance! I appreciated how Evie was written. I've read other mafia romances where the FMC seems helpless or male dependent so having Evie be so strong was refreshing.

Dark Memories is part of an interconnected series, but can be read as a standalone. The author does a good job of explaining the other characters and their backstories. I was intrigued by Rose, so I will definitely go back to read her and Michael's story.

Minor spoilers ahead. The ending does leave room for the possibility of another story and I can't wait to see what the author writes next. Minus one star because the way Evie got her memories back seemed a bit unrealistic.

I finished the book in one day! I couldn't put it down and that was due to the pacing of the story. Boozer did a great job unfolding the story and kept me guessing at every turn. It checked all the boxes of a good mafia romance. There was a great blend of plot, romance, and spice. However, please check your trigger warnings.

I also liked how the tension was built between Evie and Enzo. I loved how down bad Enzo was for Evie. He would do anything for his girl! If you’re into morally grey men, Enzo is your man. I also liked the side characters, and Boozer gives enough backstory on them without stalling the plot.

Overall, I’d recommend this book to readers who love a dark mafia romance and a morally grey mmc.

Thank you Love Notes PR for the ARC!

Losing your memory is hard, traumatic even - but not knowing who is telling the truth afterwards is harder.

I loved the concept of this book. A girl gets into an accident and subsequently loooses her memories. When she awakes her parents are telling her that she's engaged - to a childhood friend she finds it hard to believe that she'd ever cross the line with. And then there's a man who keeps showing up, saying she's his - Enzo. Who is telling the truth? Why did she loose her memories? who is keeping secrets?

The issue i had with the book - you knew the answer to all these questions since the beginning. The suspense just wasn't there for me. There also wasn't really anything new or groundbreaking that got revealed for those reasons this book was just a 2⭐️ read for me.

🌶🌶

I literally read this book in less than a day. It sucked me immediately.

When Evelyne "Evie" is hospitalized after being ran off the road, she is greeted by her parents and her "fiance" Nicholas, but Evie suffers amnesia from the accident and depsite not remembering much, she knows Nicholas is not who her heart belongs to.
Enzo, who Evies heart really belongs to, saves Evie from her family and while Evie recovers and starts regaining her memory she learns who she can and cant trust and who her real family is.

💭 Amnesia & Memory Loss
💍 Forced Engagement to the wrong guy

ARC REVIEW - Dark Memories

Thank you to K. Boozer and Love Notes PR for the ARC.

If you like the amnesia trope you will like this. I felt like it had the right amount of plot to romance balance which I really liked and really showcased how she lost all her memories.

Seeing how Enzo fought for Evie after everything was really sweet and I love a man that would burn down the whole world for her.

I really wish I would’ve read the main series that this book is a spinoff of because I feel like I would have connected to the characters more and felt more invested. Overall it was still a good quick read that I enjoyed.

This book looked me dead in the eyes and said, "What if we made yearning a weapon?"🥵

Because Enzo spent so much of this book suffering and apparently that is my favorite genre.

The memory loss trope absolutely delivered. Watching him try to hold onto a love story only one of them remembers was painful in the most addictive way.

Every time he looked at Evie, it felt like he was grieving someone who was standing right in front of him.

And those quotes?

"Please remember me. Remember us."

Sir, I'm trying to read, not cry.

Dark Memories gave me angst, devotion, heartbreak, hope, and a man willing to survive on scraps of attention from the woman he loves.

Naturally, I ate it up. 🖤
