First off, Darren, you knew your time was running out. You should have just been honest. You were out here living a double life, and let's be real—a woman always knows when her man is acting funny, and vice versa.
At first, I was rooting for Aileen. I was on her side, but then she pulled that trifling mess at somebody else's wedding, and I was done. Then to find out she was in on everything the whole time? Girl, you got exactly what you deserved—and honestly, you deserved worse. What I really couldn't stand was how she came after Dreama. For what? Dreama had no idea what was going on, while you knew the truth the entire time. That was wild.
Whew! The way the author wrote that twist was cold—in the best way possible. I just knew it was going one way, and then it flipped completely. I was thoroughly intrigued.
As for Darren, I really don't care about his problems. I feel maybe 1% sorry for him for losing the family he had with Dreama, but come on—you created this mess. Dreama, on the other hand, handled everything like a boss. She basically said, "Run me my money. I'm not messing up my bag. I'm going to finish what I have going on, and then both of y'all can kick rocks." I absolutely loved her response.
This was my first book by this author, but it definitely won't be my last. As far as the story itself, I thought the pacing dragged a little in certain places. Some sections felt repetitive, and when the same points kept being revisited, I started to lose interest. That doesn't mean the story wasn't good—it just means the pacing wasn't always for me. The buildup to the reveal was worth it, though, and I would absolutely read another book by this author.

Loving the Same Man
Shmel you came back with that fire 🔥. Darin knew he should've handled that before it blew up like that. 3 years and he thought Dreama would forgive him. Aileen was just as delusional. The whole time she knew he was married and decided at someone wedding to create drama. Dreama loved her husband and was deeply hurt but she handled her business and focused on her kids and business. She didn't do like Aileen and deny her kids and relationship with their dad and grandparents. Loved this story.

Need a better ending
Very good read I loved Dreama. But that Aileen the typical side piece baby mama she could have been said something but her trying to be sneaky cost her. Now Darin you messed up your marriage for what I just wish the book would have continued on it took a whole book leading up to something that ended in knew chapter. Good read though.

Dragged a Little
This story had the foundations for a good mess but it seriously dragged. Once the beginning introductions and established conflict came I became worried at 30% with how so many pages were left. Unfortunately the dramatic conflict comes too close to the end. Story beats and emotional notes were repeated. The epilogue undid all of a single character's profile and build-up having me wonder why we weren't given those interesting nuggets sooner to help the story feel meatier. Imstead left saying but what does it all mean. Also didn't feel the epilogue gave us proper closure and was very anticlimactic since we didn't get any true view at the collision and aftermath. Wish the story was either much shorter or was paced differently

predictable from the start
It was just a okay read. Some parts weren’t believable in this day with instant internet access to information, especially with a well known person.

The anticipation as to what would happen once the dreaded day arrived kept me turning the pages! Dreama was a class act! Darin lost a good one.
