This was the book that got me back into reading two years ago. One of my favorite urban romances of all time. A true classic. The audiobook came out and I decided to do a reread. I LOVED the audiobook. It was narrated by Wesleigh Siobhan, Midnight Michael, and Winston James ( who are all my favorites). Jacqi F. Lynn was a narrator as well and even though she sounds like she is speaking in cursive I still enjoyed the audiobook so much! Of course this book is still a FIVE STAR ⭐️ READ!!!!

Demon's Dream: An Unexpected Love had me in a chokehold. Elle Kayson took us through there with Demon and Dream's story, and I loved every minute of it. The character development was everything watching these two grow individually and together felt natural, emotional, and worth the ride. I never felt like I was reading the same recycled romance tropes. The connection, the drama, the action,the spice,the healing, and the love all hit exactly the way they were supposed to.
What impressed me the most was that she gave us a complete story in one book over 700 pages. So many authors would have stretched this plot into five or six books, but Elle Kayson gave us the full experience without sacrificing depth. She ate and left no crumbs. This was my first book by her, but after finishing this one, I'm ready to dive headfirst into her catalog because if this is the standard, I'm trying to see what else she's been cooking up

This was reread for me now that it’s available on audio. One of my favorite urban dark romance books of all time. Wesleigh Siobhan and Midnite Michael were my favorite narrators in this audiobook. They brought it to life for me.

Reread - still enjoyed this story. I didn’t care for some parts of the narration but I enjoyed it.
