La Casa de las Hojas Muertas: Una novela de los Archivistas del Umbral

Some books are discovered. Others seem to find the people meant to read them.

The House of Dead Leaves opens with an unsettling promise: this is not merely a story, but a text pieced together from scattered journals, trembling marginal notes, and voices rescued from the edges of oblivion. At its center lies the strange path of Articus Aetherwald, whose life becomes entangled with secrets buried in forgotten archives and doors that should never be opened.

As reality begins to blur, every page pulls the reader deeper into a world of hidden histories, eerie encounters, and forbidden knowledge. Atmospheric, literary, and laced with supernatural intrigue, this novel invites you into a haunting maze where books choose their readers, silence conceals entire worlds, and some truths were never meant to survive.

Perfect for readers who love gothic mystery, secret societies, and dark fantasy wrapped in the texture of a lost manuscript.

I have never read a book like this that brings you into a world like a D&D campaign does. I loved this book and I cannot wait for the next one. I would like to play a campaign with my friends based off the lore here. I like how the unassuming characters morph into their places and the inner dialogue of the main character makes me laugh. I look forward to the next book!
