Reaching You

Rate this book

"Your heart is like a star. No matter how hard I try to reach you, you are still beyond my reach. Should I just content myself by merely looking at your bright face despite knowing that behind those smiles is a broken heart?"

If you're looking for a light story to read, this one is for you.

Reading this book five years later made me see it in a different way, so here we go. I even used to idolize the book, thinking "It's the best story ever!" Well... maybe not.

But what was Psicom thinking?! There are a lot of grammatical errors and informal writing that should have been polished, but they're still left in the book. I could've forgiven it when this was still in Wattpad but this is paperback. Anyway.

PLOT: A nice read, but just revolved around the romance part and didn't delve deeper into other parts. This is just a spin-off of the main book/s so that's probably why. However, I would even dare to say I enjoyed Amber and Ren's story more than My Prince. The conflict with Autumn is ridiculous to be honest. And why wasn't she held accountable for literally assault? The last conflict isn't even that bad too because they just needed to "communicate" to fix things.

CHARACTERS: Amber and Ren are your stereotypical "cat and dog" couple with their little quirks, wasn't too bad. However, I kinda found Blake... well, awkward. Autumn is even worse - she just existed to be an annoying brat.
