Dragged off the auction block by six snarling Anzinians, I expected chains, pain, revenge. Instead they branded me, hauled me onto their ship, and locked me in with hundreds more. Four-foot green nightmares with too many teeth and hands that never stop touching.
I swore I’d escape. Then one started patching the wounds I didn’t ask him to fix. One refused to leave my bed when I slept. One bit me hard enough to bruise… and I stopped pretending I hated it.
The Prince just watches with those amber eyes, like he already knows exactly how I’m going to break.
They don’t want punishment. They want me...every filthy, reluctant inch of me. And the worst part? I’m starting to want them back.
Monsters don’t return what’s theirs. Turns out, neither do I.
Owned by the Swarm is a scorching, MMMMM+ monster romance. One morally gray human. Hundreds of possessive goblin aliens. Zero chill. Part of the Offworld Meat Market series and can be read as a standalone.
This was completely unique and not at all what I was expecting? I have a high threshold of what I find weird and thought this might approach that. It did, but in a really good and surprising way. Even though it’s more like a novella, there’s a great cultural and world building foundation. I kinda wanted an extended epilogue! Great for those who are over the norm and want to try something flipped on its head where you really want the main character to get his comeuppance. Also, obsessed with the Tinkerer and the Feral one…
Honestly, I loved this! It was a quick read but still had great world building and didn't feel rushed. I enjoyed getting to know the MC and seeing his growth and the Anz were unique and fun. The story was 🔥 🔥 🔥 but with an actual plot that I was invested in. I enjoyed it a lot and recommend if your looking for a quick captors to lovers type story!
⭐️⭐️ This is probably the weirdest book I have ever read. I honestly don’t even have proper words but I read it because you only live once and I was curious. Did that curiosity pay off? I honestly don’t know. I think I’m still processing because literally what the fuck😭😭
I did not know how the author was going to make this one work. Even about halfway through the book I still wasn't sure if it would turn out alright for the main character, but I was pleasantly surprised! Morrigan Black is amazingly creative and a magician with storylines! I can't wait to read more!
I wasnt entirely sure how I would like this book but it turned out to be much better than i originally thought. The story was decent, the main character had a lot of flaws, the swarm taught him a lot. The spice was pretty fun too!
