Completely mad but fun and setting it in Staithes was a great idea. I did not enjoy it as much as Zombie Rock, Finlayson’s book set in Redcar, but is a great romp. There are some shocking images but it remains tongue in cheek with a comedic touch that cuts through the gore, the narrow streets of Staithes are used to great effect. The bunnies on the cliffs may not be as innocent as they look.
Another rip-roaring little gem from the excellent @a.b.finlayson . This one really is a great little Easter treat. Delightfully silly and terrifying in equal parts, this is a quick read, not just because of the low page count but also because the readability is so high. Alex really excels in crafting prose that is almost effortless to read. As always, there are plenty of pop culture references and surprisingly deep characterisation for a novella. Don't take my word for it. Grab yourself a copy!
