Laylah loves reading, but she particularly loves a good romance with some seriously alpha men. Protective, possessive men with large hearts. Writing has become her passion and she hopes her readers enjoy her stories as much as she does writing them.
Such a fun party and with Fox being apart of the fun makes it that extra colorful! Lots of mischief and a number didn’t get a chance to sit properly …. Worth it absolutely!!!
Yay!!! This was such a great, quick read! I absolutely love reading about our beloved characters! The gang is getting together for a 4th of July Bbq and The Fox is coming!!!! Expect Little high jinx and Mr. Fluffy greatness!!!!
A Foxy Little Fourth of July is a fun little addition to Laylah Roberts' MC Daddies series. It's a novella, so don't expect a huge plot. Instead, it's a chance to spend the Fourth of July with the MC Daddies and their littles, and, of course, you know trouble is never far behind.
I smiled, laughed at the littles' antics, and loved getting to spend more time with Fox. He's always a delight. I was also excited to meet characters who are clearly being set up for future books, which is a great sign that this series isn't over yet.
One note: if you're new to the MC Daddies series, don't start here. This novella is best enjoyed after you've already gotten to know the characters.
Wherever the Fox is there is sure to be plenty of surprises. It was great reading this story and knowing that everyone is still having fun especially the littles. In so many ways the twins are like the Fox (full of surprises) but in a fun way. Autumn is coming out of her shell more and Brody is just lovable. Sunny is always delightful, full of sunshine like her name and Betsy has the best protection from Ink and the children. Milly, Spike and Mr. Fluffy is always delightful. As always I love to read about the MC Daddies, The Fox and the Littles that they fall in love with.
This book is just a bit of Happy and Fun . The Fox agrees to attend a Fourth of July party because his Pup and Bunny want to go and he wants them to be happy. What surprises him is how much fun he actually has and how comfortable he is with all the MC families. We interact with so many friends but there is also a lot of mischief and of course discipline. Can I just say Zippy is a hoot 😀
4th of July with all the MC Daddies and their Littles was an adorable read. I missed all these characters and it was so nice to read this holiday special. The Fox will always be my favorite but him teaming up with Royal and Barron seemed like it could be the beginning of a great alliance. This was a great way to check in with all my favorite characters.
40. A Foxy Little Fourth of July is a delightfully entertaing age-play novella penned by Laylah Roberts. In it, Ms. Roberts provides a closer look into the dynamics of several relationships—Fox, Brody, and Autum, Duke and Sunny, Ink and Betsy, and Spike and Millie. Ms. Roberts continues to scaffold the community that these characters and the supporting characters like Royal, Baron, Mr. Fluffy, and Hack. She masterfully uses literary devices like multiple plot lines and POVs, outstanding conversational dialog and monologue, and descriptive language. Her plot pacing is strong and movs the story along while building the importance of a supporting, familia infrastructure.
Such a cute story. The Fox and all the Littles have naughty shenanigans and there is plenty of icing and glitter to go around. This was a super cute novella and I loved getting to see all the different couples again. It’s always nice to see what they’re up to. Millie and Mr. Fluffy are still probably my fav and I think Millie is just the cutest!
The Fox, in this series, is my favorite character. This book did not disappoint. All the MC Daddies’ characters were represented. I enjoyed reading about how they all celebrated the Semiquincentennial Independence Day with a Fox’s touch! A must read of Laylah Roberts.
Laylah Robert’s is one of my favorite authors. But my favorite character are Bunny, Pup and of course the Fox. MC DADDIES is my all time favorite series. I have read all of books and can honestly say my most favorite character is of course the Fox. I can’t wait for the next time he makes an appearance. I really love how self assured he is and how he has grown into such an amazing person. GREAT JOB LAYLAH
This was a funny laughing out loud read. We get to look into each of the couples in this series as they get ready for the 4th of July celebrations at Betsy and Ink’s house. Of course there must be shenanigans happening.
Another excellent novella Laylah Roberts! I so love Mr. Fluffy and the way the fox took control was excellent!! Can't wait for the next book and like all your readers the future book about the twins can't come fast enough! Great segway to the book coming out this week! Well done!!
Such a delightful story! All my favorite characters in one fantastic place! I love the Fox and this story focused on him, Autumn and Brody, it kept me held captive! I literally finished in one sitting! The antics of the Littles and Daddies made me laugh out loud so many times! For a novella, it sure packs a punch. It is a definite must read!
Please keep writing more of these wonderful people. I can't wait for Baron,Royal, and Zippy to get a story. Thank you for sharing these wonderful romance stories.
It was so nice to reunite with everyone again and laugh!? It was so hilarious multiple times. The Fox hasn't changed, well not much! 😂 And neither have the Littles! Loved it!
It is like coming home to friends and catching and seeing how they are. This book brought those feelings back of why we fell in love with the characters.
Who keeps letting out the Fox? And how is it possible he can cause so much mischief? A short read but full of antics, family craziness and togetherness.
Every time I pick up a book by Ms. Roberts, I’m reminded why I enjoy her stories so much. She has a wonderful ability to introduce a large cast of characters while making each one memorable, entertaining, and important to the story. The plot gets underway almost immediately, and despite this being a shorter read, I never felt disappointed or as though anything was missing. The characters were all lovable, even the ones with a particularly naughty streak. There was plenty of chaos, humor, and spankings, as you’d expect with a group of littles celebrating together. I still can’t get the image of Mr. Fluffy making a run for it out of my mind! It was also lovely to see how much Fox has grown emotionally.
The Fourth of July barbecue at Ink and Betsy’s was anything but quiet. Brody, and Autumn quickly found themselves trying, and failing, to talk their way out of punishment with the Fox after Brody was rude and Autumn put herself in danger. Betsy had a minor meltdown over not having enough paper plates until Ink stepped in to calm her down. Sunny earned Duke’s displeasure after refusing to rest because she wanted to finish the cupcake station, while the evidence of her mischief was still all over her face. Then there was Millie and Spike’s mad dash after Mr. Fluffy, with Millie also landing in trouble for lying to her Daddy about hurting her ankle. Baron and Royal, along with their faithful shadow, Zippy, had their own entertaining plans for the fireworks.
My only criticism is that the ending felt a little rushed, and I would have happily spent more time with these wonderful characters. Overall, this was a heartwarming, funny, and thoroughly enjoyable story that left me smiling. I can’t wait for the next book.
Wonderful 4th July celebration with all of the gang, fireworks & cupcakes what can go wrong ? This was a wonderful read as all of the daddies and their littles came together to celebrate the important holiday of the 4th Julu as one large, mixed up family that readers would never want to change no matter what and this was a simply wonderful read. The Fox and Bunny and Pup are all excited and getting into trouble before they even reach the party and the Fox being the wonderful daddy he is knos how to keep them in line and that was by warming their bottoms. Then when the arrive at Ink and Betsy’s house there is Zippy and Baron and Royal who as usual have other plans about the fireworks that their dad and mom have now idea of, anything to be the life and the soul of the party. Then Spike and Milly with Mr Fluffy in tow cause quite the stir when he steals a large bag of hotdog sausages and for the first time ever actually runs much to the amazement of everyone else at the party. Then to top it off there are cupcakes and the Fox shows why he is a cunning and accurate as the best hitman, he’ll do anything to bring a smile to his Pup and Bunny and he had to say he did enjoy the party after all. A simply wonderful 4th of July with plenty of littles into mischief that readers will laugh out loud at and simply have to read in one sitting. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.
I’m always happy when i find an invitation to one of the MC Daddies parties, and this one’s special. It’s the Fourth of July,it’s America’s 250th birthday,ánd the Fox and his little family are invited,so…. The party’s at Ink and Betsy’s place, and i knew it was going to be great from the first glimpse i got. Betsy’s worried she hasn’t done enough, but Ink,Baron,Royal and Izzy manage to convince her she has. In the meantime,Baron and Royal have made some plans of their own…. Sunny,Milly,Autumn and Brody all manage to get into trouble one way or another, and by the time the party starts, bottoms are throbbing. But it doesn’t stop everyone from having a lot of fun,and i enjoyed every second!!
