I love this series! All the books are so good. I hope Nick and Robyn do end up back together. :) Love that in every book, something different happens but just as interesting as the next.
It was great with a unique storyline and unexpected plot holes kept me captivated but it's also one of those books you can read over and over again and won't get tired.
The mystery was kind of a disappointment, usually they’ve been kinda hard to figure out but now you could guess it pretty fast. Either way we finally got som dialog with Nick so I’m happy!
If you've read the book series before this, which is shadow of doubt, it's great to (FINALLY) know what happened to the relationship between Nick, Robyn and Ben. The suspense/mystery of their relationship had kept me thinking so much about it!
I'm amazed at the way author Norah McClintock writes her books. She's so creative and definitely knows how to surprise her readers! I couldn't even think of such great storylines! just read at how she managed to twist and turn the plots and endings in her books! I'm 21 and I've read so many books. To me, her books so far are the BEST mystery-based books I've ever read! ((:
Look, I'm sure Nick D'Angelo has been to therapy before, but if the boy just TALKED ABOUT HIS FEELINGS, he could avoid literally every mess he's ever gotten himself into. However, this was not his fault, and I applaud Robyn for sticking to it to piece everything together to ensure Nick gets off the hook.
(Also, have I mentioned my location theory has been updated to this being set in Halifax? I'm running out of options here, y'all. It just doesn't make sense.)
I love this book series a lot! The excitement in this book really makes want to read more. The main character is named Robyn Hunter. In this book Robyn's Ex, Nick is back in town after disappearing and is in big trouble. Robyn is determined to help him and make everything right. This is not the first time Nick has gotten in trouble though.
It is a great find for teens who like the crime and mystery that they can find in adult fiction but definitely toned down for the age appropriateness. I think anyone who likes a crime and mystery style book will really appreciate this series !!!
