I’ve missed wattpad and this story along with “in 27 days” was the perfect story to start back up my addiction. But this story was a little too perfect because now I never want to leave the story. Grrr I hate when this happens. Anyways read wattpad every once in a while for clear skin thx

Did not finish.
I was disappointed with this. The language and abuse of God’s name was constant. The story dragged: same struggles every chapter with no resolution.
I have better things to read.

I admit to being biased, but the first book was amazing. I was way too attached to snarky Archer and cute Hadley (and death!) I highly recommend this duology (series?? ;)) to anyone who adores funny characters, an amazing plot, and a little cry. I'm honestly so in love.

I liked the book, it was good but it couldn't live upto the standard of the previous one. As much as I liked hearing things from Archer's point of view, but I strongly felt that this book was something which was uncalled. At some instances I was not able to keep up with what the author was trying to convey. The book was poorly written. It was a degress from "In 27 days".
I lost my interest by the time I reached the middle part. But decided to keep reading as was curious how it would end. To comment on the ending it was okay, the thing with death's wife was nice. But we never got the answers as to why she did what she did, all I could come up was that the author herself was not able to figure out. Some things in the book was so unnecessary and the point that they were part of the main plot was kind of annoying. But to keep in mind, it being a whattpad novel, it did well. It was able to gather attention of reader.
Archer being the sweetheart he is, was able to do it. Whatpadd is the place where I satiate my fetish for cute guys. I'll be able to say Archer is among the top 10, despite his snarky and rude attitude.

The language on Wattpad was just way too bad and I didn't like it.

In reviewing the published version of In 27 Days, I called it paint-by-the-numbers, entertaining, expressed frustration at why Hadley would bend over backwards at great personal risk for someone who threw so much grief back at her, and commented I needed a flowchart to keep tabs of that massive Italian family. I gave it 4-stars.

Face Your Fears was a WattPad published sequel to the original WattPad published In 27 Days, and some changes made for publication, mainly the collapsing of April, May and June into Rosie doesn't exist here. It's fan fiction, and like most fan fiction needs a thorough edit, a better spellcheck, and was haphazard in terms of plot focus. I think it was certainly well intentioned, does quite a bit to answer some of the concerns I had from In 27 Days (Why did Hadley do what she did?) while still burying me in endless extended family members, red herrings and dropped plotlines (the gender reveal was promised, dropped, and explained away later on.) For every great line or touching plot point (spoiler free, but I liked the picks made towards the end) there was awkward dialogue and behavior, such as awkward references to Archer's "sore ass" whenever he drives more than twenty minutes and unlikely rudeness from emergency response professionals.

I appreciate what she was going for here, and if it were released as a re-edited published novel like In 27 Days, it would easily gain a star.

"You know, sometimes I wish you'd look at me the way you look at SpongeBob and Patrick."
↳ honestly, this quote was the only thing that i truly enjoyed in this novel.

the drastic shift from book 1 to 2 made a much larger supernatural element be incorporated and i struggled to get used to it. the story also dragged and the author mainly focused on shock factor, which is something that i strongly dislike in novels.

i really could not connect with this sequel at all, which is tragic because usually novels that personify death always pique my interest. but alas, this one could not deliver the expectations that i had set, upon finishing the first novel and immediately moving on to the second.

HELLOW ANOTHER HADLEY AND ARCHER!

This book tells us about the story after Archer and Hadley married (around 25-26 yo) and Archer suspected Hadley is hiding something from him which is about Havoc and Death things. Archer got visited by Havoc and finally he knew everything from his death and Hadley saving him.

In this book, another adventure is begin. However, it is Archer's not Hadley anymore because Hadley is EXPECTING BABY!! Archer should face his fear and saving his family from Havoc. Will Archer be succeed?

So, this book is in Archer's POV. Honestly, it is less interesting compare to the first book. Maybe because it is just like man opinion so less expression I got. But, this book is really fast reading, so if you need book to read for some short time, just read this! This is good if you already read the first one, who doesn't want the romantic story continue till wedding and having child?

So, READ THIS SERIES GUYS!!

🌶🚫

i’m not gonna lie i found this pretty boring but i expected that since the first book ended so well. i loved the plot and how it linked back to the first book but there were so many things that could’ve been shortened, to the point where i was skimming. i like how this one was more about archer and we get to see inside his mind. the last 6 chapters or so were just full of plot twists and moments that if i’m being honest made up for how boring the book was.

I liked this a lil more then the first. Mostly because it's from Archer's POV.
The Supernatural aspects flowed better in this one too. The name changes threw me a bit. But I got over it Because well
Archer 💜🧡💛

okej, skumt att så mycket var förändrat o inte passade ihop med första boken... like i get it hon skrev den typ under samma tid o sen flera år senare ändrades en massa med första boken innan den officiellt publicerades men inte den här boken så vissa saker var lite off...
men sralt rosie är bara icke existerande o ist har archer tre trillingsystrar som heter April, may o june... rip... han är fotograf? o massa andra off grejer...

the supernatural stuff spårade o idk... archer var oxå annorlunda o mer mansplainig med manskomplex... bit i guess he was fine ish

boken var meh... eller mer eeh

började små skumläsa efter ett tag... pluspoäng för att dom döpte deras son till MILO för det är ett awesome namn

skum plotline tbh... rip grandma victoria...

Honestly, I had expected better from "Face Your Fears", given the reason that the first book "In 27 Days" truly amazed me. As much as I loved to read the story in Archer's POV and get more of Hadley & Archer's moments, this book didn't really meet my expectation.
The plotline relies too much on supernatural factors to the point that it becomes a little annoying. Although I like the idea of Archer having to confront his fears, the reasoning built up was pretty illogical and unrealistic.
The author also mentioned in one of the author's notes that she had no idea about how marriage worked back when she was writing "Face Your Fears", it is understandable that there are some awkward details in the marriage life of Archer and Hadley.
The depth and the philosophical aspect aren't quite dug in like the previous book, so all in all, I would say that this book isn't as worth reading.
I'm giving "Face Your Fears" a 2.0-2.5 rating.

I am absolutely in love with this book, the writing, the storyline, the characters. Seeing this is a sequel to the book "In 27 days", I am pleased to say that this book didn't outshine the first one and it didn't lose its charm either. They are both similar but different in their own ways. Another thing that makes me love this book, even more, is that I now have this empty feeling when you have finished reading a book. I desperately want to see more of Archer, Hadley, Death, and the entire Incitti family. I definitely recommend it!!

I dnf’d this at chapter 9 because there was literally no plot whatsoever and I was pissed for 2 reasons:

#1: That miss alison decided to have Archer randomly smoke an entire pack of cigarettes

#2: That Hadley didn’t care that the father of her child has a bad smoking habit. Like especially after she went on a whole time travel mission to save his life. Get your priorities in check miss gurl 👹

I’m like really disappointed because I loved the first book and this was kind of a massive letdown for me 🥲

The sequel is available on Wattpad. I fell in love with the first one. What I liked about this one is that it deals with pass trama, love, finding yourself and that most the cast from the first book were init. Not what was different, some characters. Such as instead of Archie having a little sister named Sophia, he has 3 triplet sisters in her place in this book. I don't know why such a dramatic change, the triplets were great, just didn't follow the first book & also, Arthie is the narrator.

OH MY GOD!!!! It was amazing. I am really touched with the ending though. And honestly, it feels like Milo brought the happiness in their life. I literally cried on the first book of "IN 27 DAYS" and in this one, after all those fights to face Archer's fears, when he finally touched his son for the first time, that was soo much touchy.
So, if someone is reading this, I would suggest, don't waste your time and just start reading the series. NOW!!!

This was the first book I read on Watt pad. I found it a little difficult to follow as some of the character names were different than the first book in this series, and I think the book could have been written more effectively with the same message without the profanity. However, overall it was a hopeful book about people reforming their lives even after significant trauma.

I really enjoyed the switch in narrative from Hadley to Archer. I liked getting to explore their life as adults and it was so nice to be apart of their world again. I only gave this review 4 stars because for me nothing could ever beat the first book, it holds a special place in my heart! I also liked the premise to this one and enjoyed where Alison Gervais went with the story.

Main problem is the blaring plot holes
Particularly the fact that the massive point of Havock chasing after Archer is because there's an unbalanced debt after he was brought back, essentially a life for a life then. But then,it makes no sense that Death would bring back someone committed suicide if someone else has to lose their life in return???
