ALL THE STARS IN THE WORLD TO THIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART
Seriously I'm going to throw this in the face of anyone who says BL is just smut because I CAN'T BELIEVE THE EMOTIONAL CONNECTION THE TWO MCs HAVE, AND THE PLOT IS SO GOOD I'M DEAD
Update after the final chapter!!!
I can't believe this is over! This has been such an emotional ride from start to finish, and while I've read many other manga/manhwa in the meantime, this is still my favorite one of all time. I'll make sure to reread it sometime soon because I loved the experience of binge-reading the first 50-something chapters, and having to wait for weekly updates was terribly painful lol.
This review is a mess but I really wanted to add something after the finale.
Also, Silb published a Q&A/epilogue which you should definitely read (after you've finished reading). She hinted at a side story within the BB world (I'm hoping it's some Shell/One, since she said "I believe you'll be able to see [them] act silly with each other"
Also here under the spoiler tag is a pretty long explanation of the final chapter since someone asked in the comments (I deleted their comment because it was kind of a spoiler and it was unmarked). I thought the ending was pretty clear but apparently not for everyone so since I wrote this long thing I thought I might as well include it in this review.

I realized I wanted to add something to this review but I honestly can't deal with my feelings right nowor ever? Especially after reading chapter 53, what the fuck was that even?!
Honestly I had no idea what I was getting into when I started reading this. I expected a bit of violence, a bit of action, a lot of smut (okay, we have all of those), some superficial world building just to give the impression of a plot, and instead I got:
• a properly-built world, where vampires rule over humans;
• morally grey characters with amazing and dramatic backstories;
• my heart shattered in a thousand little pieces a couple of times ;
• an underlying theme of discrimination (both against humans and against sexual preferences -I want to point out this is not a homophobic world at all but the discrimination is similar to the real-world discrimination of LGBT people);
• most of all, most of all, two (kinda three?) beautiful and touching love stories that make me cry just thinking about them.
The MCs are so well written and their relationship follows such an interesting dynamic.
Shell is a pure and sweet cinnamon roll and I will fight the world to protect him.
One is a protagonist with many layers and I guess we haven't even seen all of them at the point when I'm writing this.
I love it so much I think I can't even enjoy another manga anymore because nothing will ever come close to this.

Update after chapter 55, 2/13/17:
I AM DEAD DEAD DEAD
I was not expecting this. This was a fun surprise and I enjoyed this way more than I expected to. It was confusing at some parts, had fucking amazing plot twists, made my heart feel weird and I just felt all these emotions.
I went into this book expecting bdsm erotica throughout the entire book, but BOIII is this so much more. I didn't know, at all, what this was about. All I knew was that it was bdsm erotica but I did not sign up for such strong and beautiful characters, an extremely well developed plot with some heartbreaking plot twists and all these feels, man.
I love love love the characters. Their relationship is much more than some kinky bdsm. The way they needed each other and had their moments ripped my heart. They hurt each other, loved each other, but no matter what, needed each other and I just...dead. One and Shell was fucking everything and I hated that ending.
THE PLOT. Who fucking knew that this book would have such an amazing fucking plot with such a plot twist that ripped my heart out of my chest. Such a well developed plot, guys I'm still not over this. This book is so much more than bdsm and there isn't even much if bdsm in this, imo. The book focuses so much on the characters' relationship, plot and I just AJDJANFKDJAOBSAKHSISFJSL.
What stopped me from giving this 5 stars is that, throughout the book I was confused as to the whole blood bank company thing. I didn't even know that the character was actually named One and Shell. Also I was kind of slightly bored towards the beginning, but it got much better and I ended up loving this. Guys, do yourself a favor and read this awesomeness.
I LOVED THIS AND I NEED THE NEXT BOOK RIGHT NOW.

Wow, that was one fantastic webtoon! 😱 I have never read anything like it. It’s sooooo different and spectacular. 😍 I just can’t get enough. While it’s difficult to write about MC’s traits and the storyline when it comes to manga, (Since despite the page count, they are not as long as novels) I have soooo many things to talk about this webtoon. Everything is just genuine and heartfelt. 💜 I cried so many times reading this manga .. that bittersweet angst between MCs and side characters, wow .. the world and character building sure is super rich. 😍👏
Shell, a vampire and the sole heir of a blood lord, always looking strong, confident and capable on the outside. But secretly, he’s a submissive. Unlike his vampire brethren, he hates feeding upon humans and is really fascinated by humans. His biggest wish? He wants a human master who’d use him for anything as he wishes.
One, a banker who works at the central blood bank, one that’s owned by Shell’s family. By unknown reasons, he himself, doesn’t know, he’s able to resist vampires’ pheromones. And why is that young lord, Shell Overlord, stalking him and following him around like a puppy? He’s just food and servant to young lord, Shell. What does he possibly wants from a mere human like him?
Shell and One had no idea about what was waiting them in the store when they started to have a very unorthodox relationship. Despite being just met, these two go way back. I have soooooo many things to talk about this manga so where do I even start? 😁 Heartbreakingly beautiful. I love both MCs but I’m a bit partial to Shell. He’s just such an honest, caring and affectionate character .. I love him sooo much. 😍 He protects everyone and anyone .. even his enemies. And the way he loves Eric and how he wishes to be his forever. OMG! *swoon* 😱❤️😌 .. And Eric, such a mysterious and intricate character. I can’t talk much about him without revealing the storyline. But I’ll try my best to describe him. He’s already run away once in his life. To survive despite everything. For life. Just for the mere sake of living. 😓 And for that, he lost everything that was dear to him. Shell scares him .. not because he’s a vampire but because he ignites and stirs such forbidden and unknown emotions in him. 💙 He loves Shell and he doesn’t want to lose him. But running away again seems an easier option. He’d have to overcome his inner demons and nightmares to be forever with Shell. Because Shell is worth it .. because Shell becomes his life. 💚 And talk about all those interesting and cryptic side characters. There are soooo many standout characters. Shell’s father, Pain Overlord, man .. I didn’t see that one coming. 😱 (Can’t talk more without revealing the finale). And Cinderella, I cried my hearts out. 😭 Heart-wrenching story about a beautiful boy who just wanted to save his sister. 💔 And Humpty Dumpty .. I know he’s one of the ultimate villain here. 😓 But I can’t help but feels sorry for him. Such a broken, fragile doll .. such love-starved being .. all he wanted was to fit in, to be regarded as a living being, to be loved. 😪 He taught us sometimes love can turn into hatred in a mere second. Sometimes, love becomes the worst destruction to self, to others and to the world. 🤧 The artwork is just phenomenal. So beautiful and ethereal. ❤️ I’m happy with how the way everything ends but not enough!!!! I want moreee!!! 😱 I want more of Shell and Eric and I want an even longer epilogue. Silb mentions a side story in Blood Bank world so for my sake, I hope she’d write more of the epic love story of these two lovers. 😌 And I wanna know more about those untold stories of BB world. Just, just perfect. I’m sure this is my favorite webtoon ever!!! 😍❤️😘

There's lack of plot and character development. So many things are out of place. If this is just for the sake of bdsm, I am just not into it.

LA PERFEZIONE! Ho amato la storia, i personaggi, i disegni e i colori! La cosa che più mi ha colpito, non ho idea del perché, sono stati gli occhi dei personaggi, così limpidi. Per non parlare dei colpi di scena, del rapporto che nasce tra i due e di come si sviluppa e poi il finale, niente di più bello.

This could have been 4 stars! It was so close. This had an excellent plot and character depth and GORGEOUS full-color art. The kink, however, was prominent at first and then totally faded away until it was completely forgotten and ignored, so that was disappointing. The ending seemed quite rushed and was ultimately unfulfilling. Overall I liked this and would recommend giving it a try if manga and yaoi are your thing, but don't expect too much from the BDSM label.

Rolf! Shell was so cute and One/Eric was a tsundere XD
In this manga there was all. Sadness, romance, angst, murders, abuse and rape of minor chars, mystery, revenge, but most of all, there was LOVE.
I loved to read about Eric's parents, their short but happy life together and of how Shell's father, the great Pain Lord, had tried to help them.....of how maybe Eric's father and Shell's father had been more than master and servant, but friends, and maybe they could have been lovers if Eric's father hadn't met White Bones(Eric's mother)...This was all so sad but good.
I'm not usually a fan os BDSM and S&M...but the story is good. I'll give 4.5 stars bcs I'm so happy that Shell and Eric were able to stay together and in the manga we could see their feelings grow, this felt real and in the end they were in love, so I ignored the S&M and BDSM...since they both liked that, and anyway they didn't always get off with these kinks(some of the scenes were hot, I admit it), but there was also sweet love.

I was pleasantly surprised that it had an actual plot. First volume was a bit about character development and relationships but it feels that there is so much underneath. I am especially curious about the main character One. He is quite mysterious. Still I liked his character too. And that vampire Shell! What a cutie! One&Shell relationship is so beautiful and their interactions are funny and enjoyable. Definitely going to read the next volume!
PS 1: And it was a manhwa, colored Korean comic! I wish manga were colored too!

Well, it's not my type of book! I don't like vampires at all so the main theme of the story wasn't interesting to me and I read it because one of my friends recommended it many times. I liked the different emotions mixed up in almost same time like anger, passion, love and etc. I haven't pictured a romantic relationship between a master and slave. I thought this kind of relationships just includes other things but not deep feelings.

I can't believe I ended up loving that clingy, annoying little Abnormal and his One/Eric in the end...
I mean; the role reversal on page 5 WAS pretty hilarious - and probably the reason I kept reading - but Shell's destructive personality and One's reasons for playing along got on my nerves initially. Let's just say that it wasn't exactly the healthiest of relationships...
I'm so glad the artist decided to expand on their personalities, fears and true motivations. By the end their play sessions felt much more tender and sweet despite Shell's need for domination.
I do believe the vampire race got off the hook too easy in the end, though, and I'm not sure a downtrodden, human population would react as these people did, but whatever...
So yeah, the ending felt rushed. I do hope the rumors are true; and that the creator is indeed in the process of creating a few more chapters regarding the "end of the world as we know it" theme. This was more of an OEA (Occasionally Ever After) than the true HEA I was expecting.

No os dejéis llevar por la sinopsis. Esta historia es preciosa y la trama que esconde de fondo es increíble, un argumento perfectamente válido para una buena novela de fantasía. Los personajes están construidos de manera espectacular, con sus pasados como justificación para su presente y con sus motivaciones para el futuro. El estilo de dibujo también es muy mono y el final me ha transmitido demasiadas vibes de Shingeki no Kyôjin que me ha encantado.
De los mejores manhwa yaoi que he leído.

Started off quite ridiculous, and now nearing 50 chapters in, it's developed into a dystopian plotty sprawling ... enjoyable mess. It's okay that it's a mess. It's a webcomic, and webcomics so frequently are.
Nothing here veers too far off script of your standard vampire slash fantasy alternate world story, and that's quite fine. I'm a little concerned that the hook was about the main pairing, and things have run off pretty far from that focus; but the author seems committed to the worldbuilding, and the art is quite lovely.
Crossing my fingers that this can hold up to its promising run thus far.

I legit finish this as quick as possible. I want to reread it It was that good. The art is stunning and beautiful. The storyline is amazing, I do wish there was a little more writing, but piecing it together with my imagination is just as fun. The characters are so cute. Highly highly recommend

One es un humano que trabaja en el Blood Bank, uno de los bancos de sangre que poseen poderosos vampiros en distintas regiones del mundo. Él trabaja para el señor de la sangre Pain Overlord, y como dice su nombre, es un banco donde se trabaja con sangre, siendo esta una moneda de cambio con el que los vampiros hacen préstamos y pagos.
La sangre es la moneda y la fuente del poder en este nuevo mundo de los vampiros. La sangre humana, la sangre de los seres inferiores que son simples animales que los vampiros deben controlar, atemorizar y tener bajo supervisión constante para que no se salgan del redil y estén en el eslabón de la cadena que les corresponde.
One es uno de los mejores banqueros del Blood Bank y no se puede quejar de su vida, la cual es tranquila y en la que no tiene sobresaltos. Esto, empero, cambia con la llegada de Shell Overlord, el hijo del señor de la sangre, para una inspección sorpresa. Shell, al igual que su padre, es un vampiro imponente de cabellos dorados y ojos verdes que, por alguna razón, no deja de mirar a One. Lo que el humano One no se espera es que Shell se haya percatado de que las feromonas de los vampiros, una forma de comunicación a la que los humanos no se pueden resistir, no le afectan lo más mínimo, y que, de sopetón, le pida ¡que le pise las piernas!
¿De dónde ha salido un vampiro tan pasado de rosca? ¿Qué demonios le pasa a Shell Overlord?
Pero aquí no queda la cosa, y Shell, que sigue en el banco, ayuda a One cuando un robo de sangre está a punto de costarle el puesto de trabajo y su vida tranquila sin sobresaltos. La intervención de Shell y de sus feromonas (unas que huelen deliciosamente a flores, según One) le salvan el pellejo a One, ya que sí que afectan a los demás humanos que trabajan en el banco. Si bien la calma debería haber vuelto en la rutina de One, la realidad es que no es así y Shell Overlord sigue yendo al banco y lo sigue observando sin cesar. ¿Qué es lo que quiere de él? ¿Por qué lo mira, lo busca y quiere que lo maltrate?
La inverosímil situación cruza el límite cuando One se despierta en medio de la noche y se encuentra a Shell en su dormitorio en la granja de humanos en la que vive. Será en ese momento en el que One ate cabos y descubra el secreto del noble y poderoso vampiro Shell Overlord. Y es que el hijo del señor Pain Overlord es un vampiro anómalo, un ser que desea ser dominado en vez de dominar a otros. Pero dentro de esta anomalía en un ser que, por naturaleza, debería infligir control a seres inferiores, ergo los humanos, pero anhelan que ese maltrato y dominio se lo hagan a ellos, existen dos grupos: los que quieren ser dominados por otros vampiros y los que desean que los pisoteen los humanos. I've started this particular manhwa simply because the art style was beautiful, and a friend sent me so many pictures with one of the main characters, that I was sold. So I went in, not knowing anything at all about its plot.
First of all, this is a BL comic, and very explicit on top of that. And ouch, it has a plot. You know, I'm a person who doesn't expect much from vampire stories; I feel like most tropes have been used and over-used and it'll be very hard to come up with an original twist. And yet, Blood Bank does it. It's very catchy and intriguing from the beginning, and I've binge-read this. It creates an interesting world, it's easy to keep up with it and details are also constantly repeated throughout the chapters, so you won't be lost at any point of your reading. I think it comes with a very nice premise and manages to skillfully build a plot and a story that does not bore or fall into the usual cliches.
The beautiful art didn't hurt at all, and I think it fits the atmosphere of the story as well. I loved how humorous moments were blended in with dramatic or tensioned ones, and this has been translated in th artistic choices as well. It's great fun to figure out all the details and how they relate to the story!!
And once I fell in love with the main characters, there was no turning back for me. I absolutely love Shell and One so much, their relationship is handled so well in the context given, and it grows into such a beautiful thing, while they evolve on their own as well & I adored the relationships between ALL the characters actually, even the secondary ones are absolutely great, and this manhwa made me more emotional than I though I could possibly get.

Review for All volumes!!!
This has such beautiful art that I first just stared at it for so long admiring the details. As I started to read I was overcome with how much the development for characters was and felt that I would have to work extremely hard to be at this level with my own art since I'm an artist and hobby writer. It's an S&M story with plot that isn't stupid. It actually has a story line which makes me read it much faster. I did not think I would like this at all but oh man did I love it. The author did such a great job.

i love this so much i'm actually putting it on my goodreads. really beautiful art, and a story you think is going to be comedy and gradually becomes about a dark world, oppression and survival, and a heart-wrenching developing relationship. happy (though slightly bittersweet) ending for the m/m couple, but some warnings apply (pretty hard bdsm that might border on dubcon for some people because they have no safeword in the beginning; some violence/gore).
