A beautiful story of lasting love. On their sixtieth wedding anniversary Rachel and Steven share a dance. Neither pneumonia nor Alzheimer's can keep the two apart. Sweet, touching, and sure to make you feel good.
This was a short, well written, and sweet romance.
Rachel and Steven, two old and sick lovers, one suffering from Alzheimer disease, and the other from pneumonia, but both still very much in love. The love is so strong that Rachel could still in a flash, remember not only Nancy, her daughter but also Steven her husband. The joy they share is limitless.
This was super sweet. I think i got some cavities from it. 😂 I loved it. 😊 love lasts a lifetime. & these two are relationship goals. Very short ,but very powerful. Well worth a read if you like short stories. Especially romantic ones.
If you want a quick escape from all the grumpiness of the world, this is a happy ever after for you. Filled with romance and hope and love. Our world could use a lot more of it. You need this on your kindle for a quick refresh of your heart.
This is a very short story, but poignant! I would love to know the backstory to Steven and Rachel's romance! Sixty years of marriage is quite a feat these days.
This story reminded me of my aunt and uncle. They celebrated their 72nd anniversary this summer. My aunt had a stroke a few years ago, The first day in the hospital when she was allowed to get up, my uncle danced her around the room. I put together a video of them dancing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4H05...
What a beautiful, touching story of a moment in a woman's life, a moment when she's lucid and remembers who she is and who her husband of sixty years is. Short and sweet, but it captures the spirit of their love.
