Meh

This book needs a editor. A bunch of the recipes don't have complete quantities and the directions on many could be tightened up. While I would only make about 1/3 of the recipes in this book., it does offer decent suggestions for easy meals. Several of the recipes rely on frozen and canned goods, processed items, just as using frozen meatballs and canned cranberry sauce for a creamy meatball dish. I'vescreen shot the recipes I want to try. I probably won't reread this book.

This is the perfect cookbook that I need to keep up with my hectic schedule. It gave me a compilation of great recipes that are easy to follow and the ingredients are mostly found on my fridge. True to its title everything is just plain simple very suitable for people like me who are always on the go. I've tried Dump Chicken and Veggies recipes, prepared everything in my pot then just left it sitting on my kitchen stove, go about my daily routine and when I came back for it everything has been cooked and all set you'll just have to eat it and it does taste delicious. This book is helpful and so convenient for busy people like me. Recommended to anyone who is always on the go.

For people who struggle for quick and easy dinners, I thought Dump Recipes are genius! I found this one while searching for those kinds of recipes and followed a link to it on Amazon. Since I can barely boil water without burning down the house, I thought I would amaze my kids with a great dinner with little effort or expertise. While some of the dinners in here were good and fairly simple, some of the recipes were repeats and ones that sounded just plain horrible. I jotted maybe one or two of the recipes down, but didn’t measure up with the others.

One or two of these recipes were keepers, but a lot of them didn't sound very appealing or I've seen better versions elsewhere. Most of these are freezer friendly (a lot of dump, freeze, thaw and cook) - I think I prefer to put everything straight in the crockpot, but I can see the benefit of freezer meals.
