Reese and Adam Bradley promised they would never go back.
Until they did.
One app. One match. One presence that lingers long after the screen goes dark. What begins as a small indulgence quickly becomes something dangerous.
When a life-altering moment forces them to face what they have become, they make a choice. Shut it down. Rebuild. Protect what matters.
For a while, it works.
Then Reese grows quiet. Distant. Slipping further away with each passing day. Desperate to bring his wife back, Adam hires Nora, a calm and capable caretaker who seems like exactly what they need.
But even she can feel it. The silence. The strain. The sense that something in this house is deeply wrong.
Because some connections don't break.
They wait. They watch. And just when you think you are safe, they come back.

Couple Seeking Girlfriend was definitely a unique mix of psychological thriller, relationship drama, and romance elements. The concept pulled me in right away, especially with the idea of a couple reopening a door they swore they would keep shut and the tension that builds from choices coming back to haunt them.
The strongest part for me was the atmosphere. There’s an unsettling feeling throughout the story that keeps you waiting for the other shoe to drop. The mystery surrounding what is really happening in the house and the emotional distance between Reese and Adam created a lot of intrigue. Nora’s arrival added another layer and made me keep turning the pages to see where everything was heading.
Overall, if you enjoy relationship tension, emotional suspense, and darker thriller vibes mixed into romance, you’ll like this read. This read was an interesting read with a haunting atmosphere and an ending that kept me thinking.
I honestly didn’t think this book could top the first one, but somehow it did! Couple Seeking GF had me hooked from the very beginning, and every time I thought I had everything figured out, the story proved me wrong. That ending completely caught me off guard—I never saw it coming!
The characters were engaging, the pacing kept me turning pages, and the chemistry added just the right amount of spice without taking away from the story. It was the perfect mix of suspense, emotion, and romance.
This is now the 16th book I’ve read by this author, and I’m still amazed by how each one seems to outdo the last. They’ve officially become one of my auto-buy authors. If you’re looking for a twisty romance with a little heat and plenty of surprises, I highly recommend giving this one a read!
I read the first one in 4 hours, it was so good. I have read this one in about 3 hours. I ate it up. The twist in this one was insane. And I won't lie..in certain parts of the book...I got real emotional, I won't delve in the part to not spoil it BUT IYKYK....I'm not ok 😭😭😭😭 But that's ok, it only means Wendy Owen's knows how to write a good book. The first one to this book was Couple Seeking boyfriend. 5 Stars and 5 Spicy Peppers...But it was so amazingly good, and I recommend it. I'll be honest. I went into this book not keen on Adam..but by the end...I think he kind of grew on me. You'll definitely want to read this!
When I finished the first book, I had a hunch about this book and I was partially correct. Not in a way that ruined the book, but enough that I knew where the story was going.
This book was more about Reese’s healing, but I felt like Reese finding herself with a girlfriend was the only way she was able to find herself again and that seemed off. She was going to therapy, but it was like the only possible thing that could make her happy was a girlfriend. IDK, I think I liked this book less than the first one, even though the revenge plot idea was good.
I have been waiting to read Couple Seeking Girlfriend by Wendy Owens ever since reading Couple Seeking Boyfriend last year, and it definitely did not disappoint. This book pulled me in from page one and I could not put it down. The pacing was great, the suspense kept building, and best of all — I did not guess the plot twist at the end, which is exactly what I love in thriller books. Definitely a 5 star read for me!
What a great book! It's the second book in Wendy's series. You could read it on it's own - but I think you'll miss a really lot of the back story that makes this book so good. So please read Couple Seeking Boyfriend - book number one - first. It was awesome. And it'll make reading this book that much more enjoyable.
Jaw-dropping turn of events! The perfect amount of suspense keeps you engaged, interested, and craving more. People aren’t always who they claim to be, so be cautious about who you invite into your bedroom.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story from start to finish. I didn't know how this book would unfold based on how the first one left off. I did not expect anything that happened in the sequel to be honest, but I think that makes it a great read.
