A beautiful storyline of a deputy, his Mail order bride and the baby he found at the train depot
This was a heartwarming story of a deputy who advertises for a mail order bride. Nicholette answers that ad after overhearing her parents scheming to marry her off to one of her father’s business associates who is old enough to be her grandfather. She leaves in the wee hours and catches the train to go and marry Elias the deputy only to find him standing at the depot holding a tiny baby…and this is where the story really gets interesting 😉
This was a heartwarming story of a deputy who advertises for a mail order bride. Nicolette is from New Jersey, and she overheard her parents planning her marriage. So Nicolette wrote to Elias in the Colorado Territory. When she arrived she saw Elias with an infant and walked to him and he explained that someone had left the baby girl, Lily at the train station with a note. What a Wonderful story, of acceptance, understanding, and family.

A Bride for the Deputy
Enjoyed this book immensely.
The author really gets you involved in the story. You want to continue reading each chapter so you don't miss what happens next, it is like you can imagine living in that time of era and how simple but hard life was. An exceptionally good western story without the killing and sex in those fake stories.

She was exactly where she was supposed to be.
This story is more about his mail order bride than the baby found at the depot. The baby named Lily was taken home by Elias and is an integral part of the story.

an outstanding book, another one I wished it would just go on longer.
I loved the straight talk. The moments where you took time to think before you spoke. The way love grew and a family was made beautiful story.
