Decades ago, a European newspaper hailed Kade Vale as a rare literary talent after he won two consecutive youth awards. Critics predicted a brilliant future.

Instead, he vanished.

For twenty-five years, he chose silence—watching life, love, and the darker edges of the human heart from the shadows.

That silence ends now.

*The Deleted Husband* marks the return of a voice that never faded.
It simply waited.

Received ARC from author!

I love Kade's writing so much!! Kade has a way with words that draws you in and makes you feel every word!
This book is pure perfection from the get-go. Without spoilers, the story follows Rory on her journey to win a race to something so much more than she knew was possible. She went from being a reader of paths and a thief to a leader of the resistance, protecting the people and the legend old as time. She wasn't alone in this journey. Jace had her back and did what he could to protect her and to push her to be that leader. Jace and Rory have a connection from the beginning. It really is a slow burn, but the moment they give in, it's a feet-kicking moment and yelling YES!! Rory is by far my favorite female character of all time. I truly felt everything that she went through from the beginning to the end. All the emotions, the battle pains, the grief, and her connection with the dragon (Yes, a dragon!). I felt them as if they were my own. There is so much emotion and feeling in this book; it really is just beautiful! A must-read for those who love a slow burn and fantasy.

“Win. Break the crown. Go home.”

Yeah… about that. 🖤👑

This book grabbed me by the throat from page one and never loosened its grip. This book feels like sparks striking steel in the dark: dangerous, addictive, and impossible to look away from.

Rory was such a compelling FMC. Watching her go from entering what seemed like a simple trial to uncovering buried truths, rebellion, and the rot beneath an empire was absolutely incredible. Every revelation hit like another crack spreading through the crown itself.

The atmosphere in this book deserves its own standing ovation. Ancient legends whispering beneath mountains, secrets hidden by generations of power, rebellion blooming in the shadows… it all felt cinematic and massive without losing the emotional core. The tension kept tightening like a wire ready to snap.

And the pacing? Ruthless in the best way. Every chapter dangled another secret, another betrayal, another reason to say “just one more chapter” until suddenly it’s 2 a.m. and your sleep schedule has joined the rebellion too. 🔥

If you love:

* high-stakes fantasy
* hidden truths and political corruption
* rebellion arcs
* morally gray choices
* powerful female leads
* dark, atmospheric worlds

…this book deserves a spot at the top of your TBR immediately.

Kade Vale built a world full of smoke, steel, and buried fire, and I am already desperate for more. 👑⚔️

Crown Crusher is a dark fantasy romance that moves at a breakneck pace and tells an epic story about a strong FMC!

At first, I had a little trouble getting into it, but I quickly got used to its unique pace….it’s fast-paced and entertaining. In fact it ended up being really gripping. There’s not a lot of beating around the bush; it just gets straight to the point of what’s happening.

Very epic, with great fights and lots of wonderful characters. The FMC was great….a strong FMC just the way I love them! The slow burn and tension were also very well done. Due to the book’s brevity and fast pace, the characters didn’t go into too much depth. But it felt very well-rounded and fit the book’s pace perfectly. In general, there was little world-building and a fairly simple magic system that I quickly understood, making the story easy for me to follow.

The writing style is very focused, featuring strong keywords and short, meaningful sentences. The pacing is quite unique, but I really liked it and I read the book in just a few days.

I had a lot of fun reading it and the book is very exciting and a super quick read. It’s a different kind of fantasy than what we’re used to. Different but good. It takes some getting used to at first, but then it’s very captivating! I can recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a fast-paced and exciting fantasy story with slow-burn tension and one that doesn’t go too deep but is still very gripping with heartmoving characters.
