My world has been filled with death and darkness. Taking out the scum of the earth that get away with unspeakable crimes has left me jaded. Especially after my past.

All I have is my work, my brothers and Bensotti in my corner.

Until I meet them.

Chance and Warren. The sweet swimmer and the shy professor. They belong to me. They’re mine. And I’ll do anything to keep them.

They might see my darkness, might see who I really am, but I won’t give them up.

Ever.

Feeling blessed 😇🙏🙌 after all these stellar reads. I absolutely loved this. I think MMM is trickier than MM and this had me all in immediately. Also, the smut is A+. 🔥🥵

*Excited for the next one, too! Sad I’ll have to wait til ‘27.

Everything about, yes! The fact that all three are completely opposites of each other just works so well. The chemistry between them is just the best. Took me awhile to figure out that Warren is smaller than both of his men which I find absolutely adorable.
I can't wait for book two! This series is going to be top tier!

Overall, it wasn’t a bad read, and I liked the idea behind the story more than the execution. It kept me entertained enough to finish, but between the predictable plot, the rushed romance, and the amount of skimming I found myself doing, this lands at 3 stars for me.

Holy hotness of hot!🥵 I think I can still see the flames coming out of this book!

MMM stories can be disappointing sometimes if the character’s arcs aren’t cohesive enough or if the focus is on one character more than the other. But this one was perfectly balanced, giving us all of the MCs backstories in equal measure.

Thorne’s story was definitely the most painful of the three. He had to fend for himself and his sister since he was a teenager. Then to lose her in the most despicable way, was really hard to read. Losing her was what made him the person he was now and even though her loss can’t never be replaced, his actions are saving others from the same fate.

He never imagined that his life would be turned upside down in the best possible way. The last thing he expected was to fall for two men who were so completely different from him but whom somehow made him a better person.

Chance was a human golden retriever. He was sunshine personified and if there was someone who could catch Thorne’s heart, it would be him with his sweet and charming personality.

Chance had enough money to last him a lifetime but he didn’t have anyone who wanted him for him. Everyone surrounding him was all about how big their bank accounts were or to use him for his money. Everyone except Thorne and Warren.

As a college professor, Warren wasn’t supposed to get so close to Thorne and Chance. And he definitely wasn’t supposed to fall for them. Not only were they students but they were more than 10 years younger than him. They could have anyone they wanted, yet they chose him.

The three of them couldn’t be any more different than they were, yet they couldn’t fit more perfectly. Thorne was the protector who literally unalived anyone who even thought of hurting them. Warren was the one to comfort them when things got overwhelming. And Chance was the love starved sunshine that brighten their lives.

Three different men, one epic love story that despite their backgrounds, careers and hobbies, found their own happy ending. It didn’t matter that Thorne was an unaliver or that Warren was a professor, nor did it matter that Chance was a billionaire.

It only mattered that Thorne loved them and would do anything to keep them safe. If the scum of the earth was removed in the process, well that was just the cherry on top.

This is probably the only why chose in which the love, devotion and obsession is truly divided equally between the three MMCs! The romance aspect of this book was definitely the highlight.

Sadly the rest of the plot was a bit too predictable.

Absolutely amazing and although i suspected early on who the bad guy was it didn’t spoil the enjoyment of them finally getting their just deserts.
Thorne was amazing and the way he had pet names for both his guys was so cute.
Please tell me it’s Jetts book next because if anyone needs some happiness in his life it’s him.

I felt the plot was ok, but how quickly they all got obsessed with each other was a bit of a let down… high heat, spicy but a bit meh… age gap and mmm, but also found family and blended family and everyone does well and a hea. Kinda all blending in one :-/

I genuinely don't know how RS McKenzie manages to outdo herself every single time, but somehow she does. Just when I think I've found my favorite book of hers, another one comes along and steals that spot.

From the opening chapters, I was completely hooked. The story grabbed my attention immediately and refused to let go. If you're planning to start this book, clear your schedule first because putting it down is almost impossible. 📚✨

The heart of this story is undoubtedly its three unforgettable main characters. Chance, Warren, and Thorne each bring something unique to the relationship, making them impossible not to adore. Chance is the sweet, wealthy golden retriever type who is trying to understand his sexuality while balancing competitive swimming, family pressures, and a mother struggling with alcohol. Warren is intelligent, caring, and quietly battles insecurities surrounding the age difference between him and the others. Then there's Thorne—the dangerous, mysterious force that sets everything in motion and somehow becomes the glue holding them together. ❤️

As someone who loves an MM+ romance, this book delivered everything I could have wanted and more. The chemistry between these three men is absolutely electric. 🔥 Every relationship dynamic feels meaningful, and each character contributes something different to the connection they build together. And yes... there is one particularly steamy scene that completely wrecked me—in the best possible way. Let's just say I'll be thinking about it for a very long time. 🥵🚿

What I loved most was how well RS McKenzie balanced the individual journeys of all three characters while still developing their growing relationship. Nobody feels overshadowed. Their personal struggles, growth, and emotional moments are given equal care, making them feel like fully realized people rather than just romantic leads.

Thorne's backstory especially hit hard. Learning what pushed him toward his vigilante lifestyle was heartbreaking and added so much depth to his character. While his actions aren't always easy to justify, understanding his motivations made him incredibly compelling. I also adored his connections with the people working alongside Bensotti. Combined with his bond with Chance and Warren, the found family element throughout this book was beautifully done. 🖤

The suspense aspect added another layer I wasn't expecting. Warren's stalker storyline kept me guessing the entire time, and I never fully figured out the truth until the reveal. Watching Chance and especially Thorne become fiercely protective of him made my heart melt. 🥹

And then there are the emotions. This book had me smiling one minute and reaching for tissues the next. 😭😂 There was one particularly tender scene between the three men that completely broke down Thorne's emotional walls, and it was honestly one of the most beautiful moments in the entire story.

This book has romance, suspense, heat, heartbreak, healing, and an incredible cast of characters you'll become attached to almost instantly. Chance deserved so much better than the hand he was dealt by his father, and seeing him fight for his own future was deeply satisfying.

RS McKenzie has once again delivered a story that is emotional, addictive, and impossible to forget. By the final page, these characters had completely claimed a place in my heart—and I wasn't ready to say goodbye. ❤️✨

Damn! I get giddy with dark mm romances, but make it mmm, and I don’t know what to do with myself!

Chance is the most goldenest of golden retrievers! I honestly smiled to myself most of the time when he’s there. I think Thorne is most of we swoon over, rightfully so but with this uncertainty that he’s deserving of anything good despite him being an actual superhero. And Warren is what we think an actual partner in reality should be. Chance is sunshine, but War is pure light. It’s this mix of what we all kinda want and it’s so adorable when they’re together. I loved the airport chapters in the beginning. All of their own personalities shine bright and my main thought was CUTE! I know it’s weird. A killer with a heart, an emotionally abused ray of sunshine, and a rational thinker with self esteem issues w/ no idea how he looks. Those were such fun scenes to read!

Golden. Firebird. Then MAMMOTH! Geez, I can barely contain my squeeing. The scenes are written in a way where you feel everything they’re going through. It’s a crazy ride for sure.

You definitely feel the bond and love between the 3 of them. You start to think of them as one, not just 3 people in a relationship. In some throuples, you feel one is the anchor, one is the soul, and one is the sunshine but still separate. Here, all of them are just one. Yes, they have roles but it’s more on a deeper level how they receive and submit to each other. How they treat each other, so willing and loving. I love how their poly relationship is kind of described as not 2 people having a percentage of your heart. They both have it 100%, each of them. It gives an insight for us who have no experience w/ poly. They all have this possessiveness, this jealousy, this need to be with each other. Yes, there is that “touch them and die” theme but it’s mixed with tenderness, acceptance, warmth, want and real love. All encompassing, leaving no doubt to the truth. And when I say the spicy scenes are spicing, I MEAN IT!!! I love a good plot when the high level of spice adds to it. It was written so well and I really can’t say anything better about it. Just, loved that we got it!

When we do get the Thorne’s actual full story, oh gosh. Here come the waterworks. It’s hurt and pain and brutality, and it definitely strikes a nerve twisting it till it’s raw. As a parent, grandparent, a sibling or just a human being, his story affects you and you wonder what boat you would be in if you went through the same thing.

I love the found family here! Knox is that stability and voice of reason, Py is just cute as hell, sassy and freaking hilarious, Orion is the backbone that moves it all along, the information hub, and B is the foundation, the force that directs and channels their pasts. I love knowing this family is only going to get bigger. I can’t get enough of B and him calling everyone a “little shit”. Basically adopted for kids when he didn’t want to have kids. lol Chance and War adding on to this ragtag team.

This was really a great read. Definitely couldn’t put it down and I’m so excited for the coming books. Completely engaged through the whole thing, characters that I won’t forget, a love story of timing, trauma, but actual acceptance and love. Yeah, I’m hooked!

I really liked this one. R.S. McKenzie always writes good books so I’m not surprised!

I loved that there was no relationship angst. Thorne, Warren, and Chance really love each other. They don’t spend a lot of time denying they want each other. There is no third act break up either which I love! Overall the plot wasn’t too angsty either. There were obviously dark themes and sad moments but it wasn’t absolutely devastating. I feel so bad for Chance. He’s had a difficult life so I’m very happy he got his HEA. Thorne and Warren take good care of him.

I liked the stalker plot line as well. It wasn’t a huge topic but it definitely added to the mystery of the story. I liked that each MC had something to face and that they all supported each other while they faced it. I also didn’t see expect the stalker to be who it was. In hindsight I’m surprised I didn’t but it wasn’t obvious at the time! I love a good twist.

One thing I did want to know is if Thorne ever told Warren about what he did for Emma. I won’t spoil it but I did want to know how Warren would react and to see that conversation. I think it would have deepened their relationship even more.

I loved Bensotti. He clearly cares for each of his boys. I would have liked to see Thorne call him dad again and to see Bensotti’s reaction. It didn’t detract for the story at all though.

I loved that Chance took care of his boyfriends and used his wealth for good. I would expect nothing less of him. It did ick me out a little when chance called Thorne or Warren “man.” Ex: “I’m so sorry about that man.” I feel like that’s like calling your partner dude or bro. It’s not very romantic. But once again this didn’t detract from the story.

I was happy with Felicity’s redemption and shocked over the reveal involving her father. I hope her and Chance nurture their relationship.

I loved that chance had a good relationship with his mom even though she struggled. She did her very best while dealing with her crazy husband.

I would have also loved some scenes where we see the three of them out to the world. Overall I could have read at least 50-100 pages more! It barely felt like 470 pages with how fast I went through it!

I’ve listed some TWs (including spoilers) for anyone that doesn’t want to go in completely blind. *Please note this list may be incomplete.* Overall I would recommend! Happy reading!

‼️Trigger Warnings below (including spoilers)‼️

Death of a parent(s)
Domestic abuse between MCs parents
Serial killer MC (only kills bad guys)
Human trafficking (not too graphic but sad of course)
Arson/Arsonist
Stalking of MC
Attempted murder of MCs (brief scene)
Mentions of rape
On page murder (a little graphic)

When it comes to Dark MM with spice, RS McKenzie always delivers. Thorne was packed with m^rdery goodness, heat and suspense, Let’s dive in!

Ten years ago, New York officers, A. Bensotti, picks up a couple of boys (Thorne and Knox) for tagging, He warns the boys to stay out trouble but neither has a good home life or parental guidance. Bensotti ends up taking them under his wing and looking out for them along with a few other boys, hence Bensotti’s Boys. The group is a vigilante group of sorts taking down bad guys for h^man trafficking. This is the start to an intense, delicious series.

We are introduced to our mmcs Thorne, Chance and Warren. Thorne is just finishing a job for Bensotti in California. Warren is returning from a vacation cruise with his sister and Chance is headed back to school after break. The three meetup an airport while heading back to Meadowbrook University. Warren is a STEM professor and Chance and Thorne are students. The chance encounter of three nearly strangers and a layover before returning to university is a recipe for some lust filled fantasies, A one time, one night only, if you will.

When the trio return to school, the trio try to keep their distance but the pull is too strong. There are some suspenseful elements at play and each mmc is dealing with his own set of circumstances. They find peace and solace in each other. Thorne is a gothic muscled up bad boy. Chance is a golden retriever. Warren is sweet and reserved. Loved the nicknames Thorne has for Chance and Warren.

We meet some side characters: Jett, Chance’s best friend; Knox, Orion and Pyro, Thorne’s “brothers” and the other Bensotti Boys. I’m so excited to see how each of their stories unfold. I absolutely loved this one.

Tropes: MMM, dark, college, forbidden, two students/one professor, possessive/obsessive, only one hotel room, goth vigilante killer, swimmer with trust fund, stem professor, found family

Avenging Angel/Frat Bro/Teacher
Bi-awakening

Chance is a straight frat bro swimmer whose father is a billionaire. He too now has his trust fund thanks to his grandfather but he isn’t a snooty rich asshole.

Warren is a bi-curious teacher. He has never done anything with another man but has always wanted to. His female coworker has a slight crush on him but he has turned her down and indicated he only wants to be her friend.

Thorne is a gay tattooed emo serial killer. He is working with a few others led by his first arresting officer to take out individuals who slip through the cracks. Currently they are disbanding a sex trafficking ring. It’s personal because his sister was kidnapped, raped and murdered because she wasn’t cooperative when they tried to sell her.

The three bump into each other at an airport before the start of the new school year. Their flight is delayed, then cancelled. There is only one hotel room in the near vicinity still available, which Warren gets and offers to let the other two stay. Chance admits it is his birthday but no one has even acknowledge it. He says all he wants is to be wanted. Thorne says he wants him. One thing leads to another and the three share an intimate scene.

Back at school they can’t stop thinking about each other. They eventually decide they are going to be together. Warren is being stalked. Chance is being harassed by his father to tryout for the Olympics. Warren is taking out creeps. But everything collides. Warren’s stalker reveals herself, Warren kills her in front of the others and has to reveal his true nature. Chance’s dad ends up being the sex trafficking ring leader.

It was all a bit obvious. I knew the major players before they were revealed. But it was a good book. The spice was 🔥. Knox and Jett will be a book. I am pretty sure Pyro wants daddy Bensotti, but we will see in the next book. I didn’t see a match for Orion yet.

I received an ARC of this book from the author, and I devoured this story from the very start. The 3 main characters are incredibly likeable and captivating, we have a golden retriever rich sweetheart, an older professor and a vigilante murderer who goes after those deserve to be punished.

I do love a MM+ book and this was no different, the spice was on a whole new level and each man brings their own elements to the relationship. Chance who is exploring his sexuality, Warren who is slightly insecure due to the age gap and Thorne who instigates it all and brings them together. One particular spicy scene will forever live in my mind...it made me feel the need for a cold shower.

Learning about Thorne's motivation to be a vigilante is sad but understandable when you find out. I love his relationship with the other guys working with Bensotti, along with his two lovers, it is very much a story of found family.

We have a background stalker subplot with Warren which left me guessing who it was right up until the reveal. It was nice to see the men protective over Warren, particularly Thorne.

Chance also has his own storyline as he tries to get out from under his fathers influence, competing on a swim team, dealing with a mother who drinks all whilst dealing with his new sexuality realisation. Without spoiling things, his father is such an awful man and Chance deserved better.

The great thing about this book is how the author weaves all three characters' own stories flawlessly to flesh them out as individuals whilst building their budding love for one another.

There's one wholesome, intimate moment between the three that will stay with me forever, where you see Thorne's walls come down.

A huge thank you to the author for providing the ARC, I am incredibly grateful to have been able to read this amazing story!

This book completely consumed my attention from the very first chapter. Every time I thought I'd read just one more chapter, another twist, secret, or revelation would pull me deeper into the story.

This story has everything I love...a vigilante killer, a wealthy golden boy struggling under the weight of family expectations, and a shy professor who somehow fits perfectly between them. On paper, they couldn't be more different, but together they just work.

What really kept me hooked was the way the story slowly unraveled. Every chapter seemed to reveal another secret or piece of the puzzle, and I loved watching all the different threads come together. Just when I thought I had things figured out, another revelation would have me desperate to keep reading.

The relationship between Thorne, Warren, and Chance was one of my favourite parts of the book. Their connection felt genuine and deeply emotional. It wasn't just about attraction...it was about acceptance, trust, and finding people who truly see and understand you. Watching them become a unit was incredibly satisfying.

I also loved the found family. Knox, Py, Orion, and B all added so much personality to the story and made the world feel bigger and richer. Every scene with them had me smiling.

And Thorne... beneath all the danger and intimidation was someone carrying so much pain. Learning his full story absolutely broke my heart.

ARC REVIEW

Okay, this book is an MMM romance, and it wastes absolutely no time getting started.

We have:

* Warren – a 39-year-old professor at an elite college.
* Chance – a 21-year-old wealthy trust-fund college swimmer and athlete.
* Thorne – a 24-year-old student who also happens to spend his nights taking out bad people.

The three of them know each other in passing, but a delayed flight and the need to find a hotel room in a town where only one room is available leads to a very interesting situation.

Before you know it, things go from Chance being sad that everyone forgot his birthday, to singing “Happy Birthday,” to a full-blown three-way relationship. 😂 This definitely isn’t a slow burn, but honestly, that works perfectly for this story.

What really made this book work for me was how lovable all three characters are. Chance is so much more than the stereotypical rich frat boy. Thorne has endured so much pain and heartbreak. And Warren, who has spent so much time feeling insecure, finally gets to see himself through Thorne and Chance’s eyes as they remind him every day that he’s the most beautiful man they’ve ever known.

If you enjoy a mix of the Necessary Evils series by Onley James and Make Me by Alina May, this book will be right up your alley! And if you miss Kerian Slade from Blitz’d, you’re definitely going to recognize a lot of him in Thorne. They share that same dangerous, chaotic red-flag energy that should have you running in the opposite direction, yet somehow makes you love them even more. 😂

ARC Review!

Now if you know me, you know I am a sloot for poly romances 😮‍💨

Thorne is a MMM Dark College romance between two students and a professor. Are you already sold? Yeah I thought so 😏

Thorne is a vigilante justice killer who also happens to be a genius college student. On his way back from his most recent mission he runs into the campus golden retriever billionaire and swim star Chance at the airport. Chance is a ray of sunshine and isn't deterred by Thorne's 'don't fuck with me' attitude. Enter the sexy redhead STEM professor Warren and now it's a party. Their plane gets canceled and what do you know there's only one hotel room left, looks like they gotta share 🤷‍♀️ what could go wrong? Or right 😜

They give Chance the best birthday gift of his life. But it's supposed to be a one and done hookup. Too bad none of them can stop thinking about it and try as they might but they're merciless to stop the pull between them.

What I loved about this is choosing was never even in the equation, no love triangle in sight.

It was also very sweet and endearing even as a dark romance.

Some additional tropes you're gonna wanna know about 👀:

💚 age gap
💚 bi-awakening
💚 Voyeurism
💚 Exhibitionism
💚 DP
💚 Secret Relationship
💚 Touch him and 💀
💚 Golden Retriever x Black Cat x Cinnamon Roll

RS McKenzie never misses so I am not at all surprised this was a dark slutty good time. Enjoy friends! 😈

For me I just could not get into it. Maybe it's because when I read MMM, it has to be a way that feels real and not this fake instant lust especially with characters that start out straight First then the character's magically finds one guy he attracted to and bang magic bi or just sexualy for not one but two guys, just NO! They are not that likable and the personalities did not work to make me see them as a poly pairing that they end up being, I did not feel the three of them, this would have worked for MM more, which is unrealistic the way this all came about. Why was i not surprised that this screamed lust not relationship especially with two young guys and one older gentlemen, i really wished it was more realistic in coming together but just did not work for me. Maybe because i am not to big on MMM in an instant obsessor type of relationship. This was just not working unless you want lust and unrealistic threesome which I am sure people are here for the NC threeway smut. The character's were not that likeable and everything felt rushed and desire was key clearly, want more and just did not feel the chemistry, guess people want their cake and eat it too clearly with this story. The more the merrier does not always work. the sad part for me is normally I love her work. I will stick with her MM, just wish she would always stop pushing for MMM moments in alot her work just to throw it in for no purpose.

Thorne Zilman is 24. Years back he was a thug, now he is a student at Meadowbrook.
But… besides that, he kills the scum of the earth, hunting down trafficking rings. He’s not doing it alone, no he’s one of the Bensotti's Boys. Bensotti rescued him and three others, from going to jail. He gave them a job, kill the bad guys.

Warren Bridge is 39, a professor at Meadowbrook, and sadly he’s being stalked at work.
Chance Spencer is 22, he’s a student at Meadowbrook. He’s a promising swimmer, working to qualify for the Olympics. Not what he wants, he’s strongly pushed by his rich dad, so he can make his dad’s dreams come true, ugh.
He looks as if he’s happy, but in core he isn’t. He has one friend, and he feels really lonely.

Coincidentally, Warren, Chance, and Thorne meet at the airport, all three waiting for a delayed flight.

They have one hot night. Thorne can’t do more, he’s too dark for these men.
Until he can’t resist the pull and decides they are his!

‘I’m darkness. I’m death. I’m trouble. They’re light. They’re life. They’re good.’

This is just the introduction of this story, a lot is going on.
We can watch the three starting a relationship, and they are scorching hot together, dang what a vision. There are private matters and my goodness it’s a lot!
Of course, there’s Thorne’s job. Together it was a smashing good story, with a solid plot. Well written and entertaining af!!
Too much to mention what it’s all about. Enjoy it yourself!

This book hooked me right away!! I LOVE love love a professor student romance so i had to sign up for the chance (😂) to receive an ARC! And I am so glad I was able to receive one!!

The plot of this book was really intriguing and I loved the way it all fit together by the end! This book had a grip on my emotions and I felt the whole range whilst reading: joy, heartache, tension and anticipation!

Thorne was the perfect broody protective MMC and a man who deletes the bad people of the world which I am completely here for it! His protectiveness out of all three of the MMCs was by far the most intense 🤭

Chance!! Oh my gosh he really was sunshine! He was such a golden retriever and I loved his enthusiasm! He went all in with his relationship with Warren and Thorne and I adored for it!! ☺️

Warren was an absolute sweetheart!! He was so supportive and I admired the way he let himself explore a side of himself he never had 🥹

I adored the way they all loved each other unconditionally and were so protective of each other!! And it never felt like any of them were left out which I really loved! Their spice was fiery and their chemistry as well as attraction was instant! 🔥

I loved the found family perspective!! I found all of Thorne’s brothers interesting and now I am craving to know more about them!! Hopefully they will all get books!

So I can’t wait for the next book and the rest of the character’s books!! Really hope Knox and Jett get one! 🤭

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. 📚✨

Thorne, Warren, and Chance—OMG, I'm obsessed with them! 😍 From the very start, this was yummy, a full-course meal including dessert because, my goodness, the spice was spicing, and the chemistry was yum, yum, yum! 🌶️🍽️ I went into the book with high expectations and came out beyond satisfied! 🌟

I loved the balance between these three; at no point did I feel as if one got more attention than the other. Even when all three of them weren't together at the same time, it was sooo cute, flirty, and sexy! 💑💃

The way they complemented each other was everything. Chance got to be his authentic, goofy self; Thorne found not only light but also peace, comfort, and laughter within his men. They didn't judge him for his darkness nor try to change him either, and my sweet, not-so-sweet Warren, the cherry on top, got to finally express the side of him he denied for most of his life. 🍒🌈

Rs. McKenzie once again wrecked me beautifully. I love her way of balancing the brotherhood among the boys, the sibling rivalry, and the vigilance, along with making me laugh, cry, chuckle, and fan myself, hehe. 😂😭🔥

Thorne is a phenomenal debut for the Bensotti's Boys Series. I look forward to all the brothers and can't wait to see what's up with Pyro. I have a few theories, but I'll wait *wink*. 😉

This is what I call a great dark romance! Loooved it!!! The plot the spice everything was sooo so good

I really enjoyed how everything was just evolving fast but organically so it was enjoyable, at the beginning I thought that was just like a work place/college romance of sorts but once you start reading and you get a glimpse of Thorne´s entire story well that’s where the plot was plotting and I it was amazing, you get the plot and the side plot so he living a double life student/k*iller and well now the boyfriend (yes a dark life but with a purpose so all its forgiven)

Now the relationship with his boyfriends ( firebird and golden) it was fkn beautiful and HOT, I didn’t expect Chance to be so needy hahaha loveee that I really enjoyed how fast paced and fast burn it was like you don’t only get action but also good spice, and the possessiveness damn haahah
I swear I loved red flags (fictional characters only) so it was a really amazing read

And now I need everyone’s story hah I’m hooked !, can’t wait for the next one!!

Thank you, R.S. for an opportunity to read this amazing arc. This is my honest Review

I really enjoyed this one! MMM or any other relationship with multiple partners is not easy to get right. I'm always afraid of feeling like someone is left out, but this book was really balanced. I did not feel at all that someone was left out or got less attention or anything. Everything felt so balanced. I loved how they all took the reigns alternately. I loved how they took care of each other. Thorne, Chance and Warren so perfect for each other. Thorne was the driving force behind the start of the relationship, but after that it felt like everyone was all in and worked so well together.
The whole storyline was very interesting and I loved how it all played out and how it ended drawing to a close the mission Thorne and his brothers had. The amount of darkness in this book felt perfect for this story. I loved the quiet domestic moments they got to enjoy behind closed doors. It was great to see Thorne become soft for his men. Chance had such a big heart and it was great to see that in action. Warren was afraid that his age and the age gap between him and his men would be a problem, but it didn't even register. I loved how they all doted on each other and how sweet they all were together. I loved the possessiveness a lot!

If you're in the mood for a great MMM story about three very different people then this is the book for you.

What's better than MM you ask? That is easy! MMM! The more the merrier I say 😏 Thorne was everything I hoped it would be! Dark, twisty and some hot spice! All three could not be more different, yet they seem to fit together like missing puzzle pieces. I loved how different each of their stories were, yet how they all were there for one another as a solid unit as well. A found family for sure.

Thorne is the dark, goth bad boy and for good reason. When you find out why he became a vigilante, it is very understandable. He has been through it and it is really sad. Chance is the golden retriever swimmer who is trying to break free from his father's strict hold on his life. He has dreams of his own and when he meets Thorne and Warren, he also begins to explore a side of himself he never knew existed. Then we have Warren, who is a professor at their college. He is so sweet and a tad insecure because of his age gap, but he fits so perfectly with the other two that it doesn't even matter. I loved all three of these guys and am excited to learn more as the series goes on with all the side characters we met as well!

Fooled by the cover!

I hate to give this 3⭐️, but I have too many complaints. First - Dark? That’s a stretch. Thorne is a golden retriever himself, just does … mildly bad stuff. I don’t know. His level of “dark” isn’t what I would call dark. Second - These are the 3 most non-compatible men, and it was almost insta-love. How? I could see Chance being attracted to Thorne with an opposites attract type of mentality, but where does Warren fit in? I don’t know, but it just never really felt possible to me. Third - sure, an awakening is a thing. But in this instance? Chance with a longterm girlfriend and no previous thoughts in the men department, and Warren who at 39 had never had any experience to back up his bi claim. Just seemed off.
However, the plot was good. I suspected Barb, and considered Charles as soon as Chance’s mom made that comment about something going on. But how each situation played out was great. The added Felicity payoff was shocking. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I thought there would have been more involved with Thorne’s past, maybe worse in regard to Summer, or maybe Thorne being involved. I liked the book, but … it just didn’t feel right.

Three completely random men. One moody assassin. One golden retriever millionaire. One professor with more patience than any human should possess.
And somehow... it works.

Honestly, during the first few chapters of this book I kept asking myself, "How are these three even going to end up together?" They have absolutely no business making sense as a throuple, yet RS McKenzie somehow pulls it off beautifully.

Chance is pure sunshine. Warren brings maturity and emotional stability. Then there's Thorne—grumpy, dangerous, morally questionable and somehow ridiculously lovable. The dynamic between them was perfection.

What really stood out for me was how different this felt from RS's earlier books. The writing felt more consistent, the emotional beats landed harder, and the story remained strong throughout.

Alongside the humour, sarcasm, and absolutely ridiculous banter, there was genuine heartbreak, healing, and found-family goodness.

And the spice? Well... let's just say if you love a sausage, this book offers three very different options. 😜

I should have stayed away from this author. I'd already found her previous books pretty ridiculous, and unfortunately this one only confirmed that she's just not for me.
First of all, this isn't a dark romance. Like her other books, it's surprisingly sweet. Of course there's the "dangerous" guy who becomes instantly obsessed, immediately turns into the overprotective hero, and conveniently only kills bad people... we've seen it all before.
And can we talk about how ridiculous the relationship is? Nothing about it feels believable. Guys who aren't even sure they're attracted to men suddenly jump into a threesome without much hesitation and instantly become completely obsessed with each other. It all happens so fast that I couldn't buy any of it.
The teacher is supposed to be forty? Seriously? He never felt remotely like someone that age.
And the whole group of vigilante assassins running around killing bad guys honestly made me laugh. Instead of feeling dark or intimidating, it came across as over-the-top and unintentionally funny. I just couldn't take any of it seriously.

Obsessed!!!! OMG this book was sooooo good. The story line was captivating and I was hooked from page one. The spice is top tier….. like honestly one of the hottest books I’ve read this year. Each man brought a different element and dynamic to the relationship and it was perfect. Thorne’s possessiveness and fierce need to protect, Chance’s sunshine, and Warren’s empathy and compassion all fit together so perfectly. I love that once all the secrets/twists are shared they all show up for one another (I don’t want to give away too much or spoil the story for anyone).

I really enjoyed the pacing of this book, even though it is a longer book (well over 400 pages) it doesn’t lull or get boring. I cannot wait for the rest of the books in this series and to learn more about Py, Knox, Orion and hopefully more about Bensotti himself.

I received this book as an ARC from the author ADHD these are my honest opinions.

I really liked this book. I loved this trio and i think they worked really well together. This book was also filled with my favorite type of found family and that is the vigilante found family. I am so excited to see more of the Bensotti Boys, because i can already tell im going to have so much fun with them. But back to this book, I really liked Warren, Thorne, and Chance; they each felt like individuals with their own separate personalities. I also think this book did a great job of making all three of them feel included within the relationship instead of a very obvious main couple and another person who really feels like background until there is a smut scene, which can sometimes happen in books where there are more than 2 people in the relationship. Overall i think this was a really good book and a really good start to the series so i can't wait for the next one.

This was very cute. It felt kinda like an insta love at times which is not my favourite trope but I didn’t hate it.

The plot lines were very predictable 😅 I was clocking shit left right and centre but it didn’t take away from the book.

Their chemistry was really good. I love a why choose, especially when they are all together, but it has to be equals, I don’t like anyone being left out. I did feel that way a couple times throughout the book but it wasn’t enough to really bug me.

I did feel like certain parts were jumped over that could have been expanded on a bit more, parts that seemed like they would be emotional felt like they were glossed over. Especially some of the big plot points.

Honestly all in all I really enjoyed it. It was a super cute read, I love me an mmm romance. Especially with a black cat and golden retriever involved. The spice was good and parts definitely had me laughing. I’m glad it was recommended to me.
