The book breaks down how most organizations don’t fail because of talent or strategy, but because their systems are clogged with invisible administrative leaks. That concept alone feels very real, especially in large companies or government environments where everything takes multiple steps and layers just to move forward.

I also liked how it challenges traditional automation thinking. Instead of rigid bots and disconnected tools, it introduces “agentic logic” systems that can actually adapt, reason, and coordinate work dynamically. The idea of shifting from human dependent coordination (“human glue”) to autonomous flow is powerful and, frankly, overdue.

What makes this book compelling is that it doesn’t just complain about inefficiency. Maria Johnsen proposes a structured way to fix it. Mapping decision points, removing coordination bottlenecks, and redesigning workflows so humans focus on actual value instead of administrative noise feels practical rather than theoretical.

Overall, this book feels like a blueprint for the future of work at organizations and private sectors. It’s bold and grounded in a reality most professionals will recognize instantly.
