Elly Palmer has been overweight and under-appreciated her whole life. But when her sexy body is finally revealed she finds it hard to figure out exactly who to share it with. Through it all she finds comfort in her best friend, Kent Lyle, who becomes more and more appealing the longer she dates. The only problem is that Kent has a girlfriend. And he doesn’t seem to realized that Elly is a female. Will Elly be able to lower his walls long enough to get him to see her in a new light?
Kent is torn between his past and his future. As an avid video gamer, the only decisions Kent likes to make are the ones you can undo. But real life only comes around once and the decisions you make rarely come with replays. When college finally throws Elly and Kent into each other’s paths again, will he be able to resist? Or will he finally give in to what she’s been longing for?
What will it take for Kent and Elly to each have their own Epiphany?

Last installation of this series. I really enjoyed reading all three books. I'm still extremely frustrated with Kent. I think he needed to do more to redeem himself. But that's just me. And the ending was so ridiculously rushed. It ruined the book for me. There wasn't even an epilogue. Truly disappointed with that. Something else that bothered me. In book one there were several chapters with Kents pov. It helped us understand where he was coming from. It made us see that he also shared the same feelings as Elly. But like Elly, he was too insecure to tell her. I think the author made a mistake in not having his pov in this last book. I think it would've helped me as a reader to connect with him again.
10 years down the line and Elly's love life seems to be looking up but Kent and Jen's looks like it's falling apart. Elly has moved on but Kent is finally starting to admit and announce his feelings for Elly. Too little too late Mr. Kent Lytle. That's just not fair! you don't get to mess up her life just because yours is a mess. God how much I want to smack this guy! Selfish little bleep bleep bleep!
All in all this part is the conclusion to Kent and Elly's story. Do they get together? Do they not get together? You're not going to get any spoilers from me. Go read the book!

I'm a fan of friends to lovers romance. I knew Elly and Kent would eventually get together (as friends to lovers books do) but, their journey was amazing. I felt for Elly in her failed relationships and loved her continued devotion to Kent even when he didn't deserve it. If you love friends to lovers romance give these two books a try. You won't be disappointed.
I would love to read this book in Kent's point of view.
When these two are around each other the flames are burning hot. Kent's love life has been derailed. Elly seems to pick all the wrong guys. Almost 10 years later and the flame still burns for Kent. Kent now wants to show his love for Elly. Is it to late? You won't get any spoilers from me.
What a book. I absolutely loved reading this book. I'm so happy to read about these characters again. I just wished there was more to there future. Please say there is more to come.
I usually try to avoid books that end with a cliffhanger. When I read the first book, I wasn't aware that it was part one of two. The first book was so good I had to purchase the second one and I'm very happy I did. Great story that develops well and at a good rate. The characters beautifully unfold as you read the story and the dynamics between them is amazing. Warm, sexy, funny, smart and very captivating. Like the first book, this one, too, takes you on an emotional roller-coaster and it's totally worth it. My only disapointment was that there was not an epilogue at the end of the book. I think reading about the birth of the baby would have been a nice ending to the book. Recommended

I finished the book and read the next one because I did enjoy the friends to lovers thing. However, this book was frustratingly slow and very high school ish. I get thats when their love story and feeling a started but the theme of high school dragged on and on. Elly should have walked away the first time she was heartbroken.. Kent should have realized sooner or just not been dumber especially after they slept together the first time. Ugghh!!!
Old friends has some good points -- friends you can count on, great moms who still get busy-- but the hero and heroine weren't my favorite. Ella is so insecure and silly and for all that Kent is the more mature of the two, his decision making is almost equally flawed. If you're just looking for something to pass the time, this will suffice, but there are better distractions out there.
So this story takes place 10 years later. Alot can happen in ten years. And alot does happen in ten years. So Kent and Elly are off and on friends for ten more years. Elly has kind of sort of moved on with her life. Kent's marriage is falling apart and the question is will it be saved or will Elly win the battle of Kent's heart? Thats the question. This book explains so much and is described so well. I love everything about this book. These books are really fast paced and really great reads. I love how great the characters came together at the end. It finally explains that so called raped scene in the first one. But overall this series is amazing, It needs to be fully read by so many. Especially if your into romance stories like I am.
I purchased this book after reading the first in the series-- Just Friends. I wanted to see how it would end bc I enjoyed the first one so much. Unfortunately I found Kent to be a bit of a whiny character in this one. He seemed very weak and I didn't really find that I was routing for them to get together. The ending was nice, but not something that I would think would really happen if the main character had enough self esteem.
