I read it in one sitting, staying up until midnight.

can Emma and Natalie find happiness..
Natalie has arranged her movie schedule so she can visit her grandmother for two months every summer. Easy when she was starting out now it more complicated since she’s become semi famous her words.
Her grandmother is in her mid/late eighties and Emma the next door neighbor and nurse checks on her daily. Since Natalie can remember Emma has looked in on her grandmother. Five years ago Emma and Natalie had a moment a kiss in the rain and Emma said how she’s felt for ages. Natalie felt the same but fear, being 15 years older, her life which she wasn’t willing to give up walked away.
When she returned thinking she and Emma could discuss the kiss she found Emma had moved to Australia. So will these two get their HEA?

Do they get their HEA?
Natalie is an award winning American actress who visits her grandmother in western Ireland every July and August. Emma, the younger next door neighbor and nurse, is an "adopted granddaughter" who checks on her daily throughout the year. Both of these women skirt around the issue of their feelings for one another for many long years. This reader enjoyed the writing, the characters and the feeling of longing. However, I'm sorry to say I was a little disappointed in the ending. What happens after Christmas?

A good short story but my alternate ending would be ( because you can write anything you like, why write something that is too much like real life?) Grandma Bridget leaves Emma a couple of million dollars which makes Emma delay starting a job so she can go to L.A. and be with Natalie while her house is still being rented out as a vacation home. There we go, a happy ending for all.

Finally, a book by Ms. Wyatt that isn't filled out by sex scenes just to pad out the pages.

That's good, but I feel like the author has much better ones. Although it is worth reading.
