The first time they save her, it’s embarrassing. The second, it starts to feel like fate...

Kaia comes to Brightwater for a quiet summer. Fresh mountain air, lifeguard shifts and space from the life she left behind. But she keeps getting into trouble, and the same three firefighters are always the ones who pull her out.

Calder, the towering silent alpha firefighter who drops from helicopters into wildfire zones… and goes soft the second she looks at him.

Knox, the ruthless grumpy alpha captain with a filthy mouth and zero patience, except when it comes to her.

And Jace, the grinning alpha who never takes anything seriously, until it’s Kaia on the line.

It would be easier to ignore if the pack didn’t look at her like they’ve already decided something she hasn’t agreed to.

Then her house burns down.

Suddenly, Kaia is under their roof, surrounded by heat she can’t escape.

She tells herself it’s temporary. But the longer she stays, the more it feels like she was never meant to leave… and they have no intention of letting her go.

Avalon Bond writes cozy omegaverse romance where the alphas are protective, the betas bring the snacks, and the happy ending is always guaranteed. Expect swoony scent matches, nesting that heals, and enough steam to fog up your windows.

When she's not writing about omegas finding their forever packs, Avalon can be found hoarding blankets, overcomplicating her coffee order, and admiring her exceptionally handsome cat.

She believes every reader deserves a book that feels like a hug, just with significantly more knotting.

Once again Author Avalon Bond has me wishing that I could take a trip to Brightwater.
This small little mountain town has my heart!
Each and every time another one of this incredible girl gang moves we all know it’s only a matter of time before our favorite puppers Sol attaches himself to an unbonded omega and the rest is history!
This FMC had me immediately in my feels, she’s never felt like anyone has chose her and that she’s ever really meant to stay in one place for too long… like she’s worried she’ll wear out her welcome.
After a few very entertaining meet cutes…we meet our MMCs…. These alphas have been living together for years in and out of the firehouse. They all have quirky little things that make them different…. But one thing they can all agree on is that this new omega in town is the one for them.
Throw in some pretty intense heat spikes, a lot of healing from the past, and one pretty unforgettable heat … and you have the formation of the newest pack of Brightwater.
It had me laughing at the banter. Swooning at the sweetness. And fanning myself from all the heat!
And now that we know that Sol has done his job… he’s ready to help the next unbonded omega of this girl gang!

Brilliant, loving Brightwater.
Who doesn’t love a firefighter romance, and here you have three! I thoroughly enjoyed the story, and of course, Sol is back 😊. This is a refreshing read with depth, really genuine characters, without the past ghosts taking up all the storyline, and also without alpha chest-beating taking up space. I found myself smiling a lot as I settled comfortably into the well-executed storyline. For a third book in a series this can also be read as a standalone – though I can happily recommend the earlier two books as well. And I am really looking at the fourth story.

I really liked Kaia's novella! I didn't feel like it was missing anything, the pacing felt really good and it didn't feel rushed. Calder, Knox and Jace all got bonding time and alone time with Kaia and charmed her into her happy ending even though she still has strong lingering doubts from her past relationships and her family's treatment of her. Jace was the carer and light hearted member of the pack, Knox was definitely the control obsessed leader and Calder was the quiet protector. I enjoyed all the personalities and the plot. Can easily recommend as a fun summer novella! Can't wait for Mara's novella next!

Brightwater, the cutest little town where a bit misplaced omegas find their alphas.
After two of the group of girls found their packs at Christmas and in spring, this summer it's Kaia's turn to visit the town, get owned by the magical dog and find her future.
It's a charming, beautiful story, but at the same time hot as lava and you'll all want to find the town and move in next week. I know, because I want to 🥰💕.

'She tells herself it’s temporary. But the longer she stays, the more it feels like she was never meant to leave… and they have no intention of letting her go.'

The characters were very appealing and likeable and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and exciting and well paced. World building was excellent and solidly drawn. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

Grab a copy, kick back and enjoy the read!.

The magic of Brightwater and a magical dog capture another Omega.

Kaia is the 3rd Omega of the friend group .. and she has a plan. Fortunately for her Sol has a plan also.

Knox, Jace and Calder .. a pack that each individually have a reason to believe an Omega is not for them.

Small time vibes..
Friend group texts that are funny and accurate
A fire that pushes them together
A mermaid who learns to be secure on land when she finally finds safety.

This was a sweet omega why- choose. It was a quick feel good read with a lovely summer location and a pack of alphas worth sticking around for. Kaia, the FMC, had always been told she was damaged goods; didn't respond to alphas the was an omega was supposed to. Turns out, she just hadn't met the right ones.
A good read that left a smile on my face 😉.

sweet and quick

This was an easy quick read. Well written with familiar return characters and a new storyline that worked as well as the first two books. I am looking forward to the fourth in the series.

This was a good book. Just your standard basic omegaverse. If you want cozy predictable alphas, it’s a fine short read.

Oh this book gave me all the feels! It was so freaking good. Kaia, Knox, Calder and Jace are so good together. And I loved how the guys allowed Kaia to come to them in her own terms. This one is my favorite of the series so far.
