I enjoyed this installments in this series. They are just fun little palette cleansers. The banter is fun, but the arguments are more fun. But then of course there is the tension and that is off the charts!

Oh my god the tension in this book! It was absolutely insane. Not gonna lie at the start of this book I wanted to punch Cole in his stupid, lying, rude as hell face. He keeps frustrating me, but that goes to show how well written he is that this character gets such a visceral reaction from me. The way he goes against Sloane even after telling her they were a team and on the same page. Ugh. He needs to man up and stand by his players getting longevity in their careers. But Sloane also frustrated me this book too. She’s unprofessional at times and does bring a lot of judgement and attitude to her interactions with Cole. But all that goes out the window when snowed in together, with the team. They may be in different books entirely when it comes to their professional obligations but when it comes to tension and pull they are on the same page, same paragraph, same word. It’s intense but I loved it. I literally yelled finally at my book when they gave in and came together. This book was full of banter and tension and heat. And I couldn’t get enough of it. Immediately need book 3 so I know where things are going to go for them.

The tension in Book 2 between Cole and Sloane is strong. Cole goes against everything that Sloane says when it comes to the players and gets to the point where they are barely speaking until they are snowed in at an away game. As Sloane tries to help Cole with his own injury from his playing days, the personal tension builds until they energy between them draws them together in a hotel hallway where it is easy for others to see.

I enjoyed this book and am ready for Book 3 to see how they are going to handle being caught in the hallway by the team captain.

This is the second book in the Seattle Thunderhawks series and it’s a fast, short read. This story is an enemy to lovers' romance between Cole and Sloane. He’s the coach of the Thunderhawks and she’s the team doctor. He’s trying to prove himself and thinks the good doctor is trying to sabotage him. She thinks he is running the players too hard, and he thinks she may be benching the players to ruin his game. The banter and chemistry are on fire. Tension is thick between them which makes for a wonderful story.

This is the second in the Seattle Thunderhawks series. The tension between Cole and Sloane comes to a boiling point in this installment and professional lines blur a bit. Sloane and Cole are not on the same page as a coach and athletic trainer, she keeps recommending a plan and he is under so much pressure he doesn’t listen to her. They get snowed in at a hotel for an away game and the tension between them is ready to explode. I really like this couple as individuals so I’m waiting to see what they would be like as a couple.

I don't know how Misty Moore keeps writing characters I despise with every fiber of my being.

Cole is an insufferable spineless liar who cares more about his reputation right now than even his reputation in a week. Useless piece of crap.

Danny, Sloane's brother, is an unnecessary instigator. He called her a quitter when she sited considering another job offer after management and the coaching staff only care about wins, not their players. It's CRAZY to me that he says that crap when his career was cut short for the same reason.

There's zero chemistry between Cole and Sloane.

OMG! I love where this book is going. It's the perfect combination of angst and like tension. I love that this book has an actual plot with some romance. It's so realistic and it's definitely a slow burn. I love that there's no rush. Cole and Sloane are so fun to read. They are characters that are so well made like I feel like I could relate to them and not just some fictional characters I'm reading in a book, but like actual people. This book ended so well that I genuinely can't wait for the next one.

Book 2 of this series finally shows some heat towards the end. Book 3 will hopefully combust. Cole and Sloane continue to argue about the players, injuries, and ice time during this installment. I don’t like the way he undermines her. He just wants a trainer who will agree with his assessments. Sloane continues to fight back, putting players out of practice and games. Will these two finally come together personally and professionally? That remains to be seen.

I liked this second book. I really didn’t like Cole after Sloane was blind sighted, but I liked their chemistry! While the arguing gets a little old, I do like how they are so willing to do what they think is best for the team. Sloane is amazing, and I love how she really treats the players fairly, understanding what they want vs. what they need. Can't wait for the next one!
