Sold To The Bears

*THIS IS A COMPLETE NOVEL, NO CLIFFHANGERS*

In a dystopian future where fertile women are treated like commodities, curvy Lila is preparing to be the latest in a line of women to be SOLD.

However, unlike most women who are sold, Lila is looking forward to it since she knows who she is going to be sold to.

Adrian and Grant are bear shifters and are part of the "Bears of Sun Creek" tribe. They are impossibly handsome with perfectly chiselled bodies. Long steamy nights of passion and menage-filled ecstasy are a guarantee for a woman that is owned by these bears.

With that in mind, surely any woman in her right mind would jump at the chance of being sold to Adrian and Grant?

Only problem is, Lila is not just any woman and the reason she is eager to be sold is nothing to do with the sex. Lila actually has revenge in mind and the Bears of Sun Creek are her targets....

Disclaimer: This is a COMPLETE paranormal bear shifter romance novel, No cliffhangers! Also, contains scenes of a sexual nature and shifter menage a trois. 18+

Still just a "meh" book which basically has the same storyline as the first book. The leading lady was, thankfully, not as annoying as the one in the first book. One annoying thing was the fact that author seems to use a LOT of the same ideas in both the first and second book.
A young woman gets bought at an auction, she gets taken back to wherever the buyer lives, she has two possible suitors, she has to sleep with both of them, whoever gets her pregnant will end up being her mate, she likes both of them equally but maybe one more than the other. Even the guys follow the same line - one is laid back and easy going, the other is a bit mean and stand-offish but don't worry, they're both really nice guys once you get to know them!
I am now reading the third book so I'll see if she just copies all her ideas over again. So far, the guys in the third book follow the plan mentioned above.

WARNING POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT!!

First let me state the description for this book is so far off its not even funny. Who ever wrote it did not read the story!

The description for this book says she is excited, but in the VERY beginning of the story she is running away from the auction. Then it states she is the last in line, well that is true for that day. The author does make it appear this is a normal auction for the wolves she comes from.

She does not just fall for Grant she is forced to choose from him or his brother. The sex scenes are written what appears to be a nun or virgin. Not very imaginative or threesome type of action for such activities.

Then she appears to learn trust while the bears now have a issue of trust. The conflicting actions of the author with these people is just confusing as all get out. I will not say more of what is happening but know that I am willing to redo my review if the author does a rewrite of the story.

In the end it has a good plot just not that good!

The second books, was a bit better in terms of HEA. I like the fact no one had to really make a choice in the matter and she was determined to keep both of them as hers. Although in the beginning she was petrified of the bear shifters because she was under the impression they murdered both her adoptive parents and real parents. An issue which took some time to straightened out and get to the bottom of the truth.

⭐️⭐️✨

First time read of ARs work for me. It was on a free books list that I regularly use as I enjoy finding new authors to follow.

I was not a fan of the authors writing style. It just didn’t engage me as a reader. I found it too immature.

The female protagonist was painful and the male protagonist characters were not really explored.

Very cute read!

I really liked this story, finished I in one setting. I would have loved for the sex scenes to be a little more explicated but I was satisfied with the love Lila felt for the two brothers.

Fiona

After her parents were killed she was adopted by a shifter family. They were killed by bears according to the alpha. She was to be auctioned and it turned out to be bears. Great story line and great read. Highly recommend this book.

This was an exhilarating read. Actions and fighting galore, suspense, steamy shifter sex and plenty of drama.
You will not have a dull moment with this story, there is always something happening to keep you at the edge of your seat. The narration was great too so listening was pleasurable.

Adrian, Grant and Lila. I liked the first half of this story better than the second half. In the first half you have the mystery of who Lila is, and who Adrian and Grant are and what their intentions are. I liked that nothing was revealed right away and you could understand her reticence. I thought Lila was kinda slow on the uptake after what seems obvious to the reader finally became obvious to her. Even though the author explained time and again why she refused to see the obvious, I just didn't buy it. The world is pretty simplistic with all wolf shifters (well most all) being the bad-guys. Why this is, I never found out. There was actually a fair bit of the story that didn't make sense. Adrian, unfortunately was still a pretty thin character at the end of the book and just seemed an excuse for threesomes. I think with more thought to world and character development, instead of just enough to get the characters pants off, the story would have been more interesting. The second half becomes repetitious and boring. Grant gets a bee in his bonnet over something stupid she does and everyone else is understanding of his Knee jerk reaction. It seemed to me he was just looking for an excuse to push her away. That she was accepting of this was disappointing and imho made her a doormat.
Since there wasn't a lot of creative world/lore building, it could have been a shorter story and flowed better.

Another wonderful book by this author. Set in the same world as "Sold to the Dragons", Lila is a young woman who has lost 2 sets of parents, her birth parents to wolf shifters, and her adopted parents to what she is told were bear shifters. Not long after her adopted parents die, she is informed that she is to be Sold, a normal practice in the world with young fertile females. Much to her dismay, she is Sold to the very clan of bears that she believes killed her adopted parents. To top it all off, she is promptly informed she has to either choose one of 2 brothers or take them both to her bed that very night!

I am whole-heartedly enjoying this series. Watching Lila deal with what is happening makes for enjoyable reading that I recommend to anyone who loves shifters.

I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Since I like a good dystopian book and I do love shifters this book looked perfect, most of the reviews were very good so I couldn't wait to get started but it soon became apparent that my opinion was going to be different.
The writing was different with spaces between every paragraph, yes every paragraph all the way through the book...a bit strange.
My main problem was Lila, she annoyed the he** out of me and the way she went on and on and on about the Bears killing her adoptive parents when it was obvious all along what really happened.
This isn't a bad book as such, it's predictable right through to the end which is annoying but if only Lila had been less annoying it would have been a lot better.

A Seriously good read!

I thought that this story was really well developed. The characters had dimension, and I really felt like I knew them. Lila was sold by the wolves to the bears and you could really feel her animosity. I liked the psychological twists that played out, the explorations of feelings and all of that stuff, it made the story stronger. The menagerie stuff was so hot, you'll be reading parts of it more than once. Lila gets brave, she gets mentally stronger. Grant and . Adrian , although they help her, they also let her grow into her kickass self. It's a good story with strong characters, great love scenes, good friendships, and some wicked fighting scenes. What could be better than that?

Survival instincts
In a world after a Huge war where shifters are the majority and humans the minorities and conception rates very low. It’s were fertile women are auctioned off to the highest bidder. In a small town called Coldwater where wolf shifters have killed off Lila’s human parents when she was young and now is told the Wolf couple that took her in was killed off by bear shifter. But it’s either the Bears of the Dragons that will buy her. So she runs. And is caught and sold to the bears. But are they really the bad guys? This is a well written self-contained story and yet part of a series. Great character interplay and a very enjoyable story to read.

Suspenseful & erotic too... An exciting erotic story of how a young girl was raised by a wolf clan (shifters) due to her parent getting killed by bears (also shifters). When she grew up these same wolves sold her to the bears. Lila has finally found a real home and love. Being faced with danger, there is a risk she could lose it all and even her own life.

Read along with the narrator, Meghan Kelly as she entertains us with her multiple voices and accents. I really enjoy the soothing voice too! Amira Rain did a great job writing this book. The plot is exciting. Plenty of suspense and action and even danger. Lots of erotic fun too! I am really looking forward to book 3!

** I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review **

Ok..where to start....this story makes women look like property first of all...and I can be ok with that if done right...but this was dumb! I do agree Lila got the better end of the bargain...but this story is repetitive...not very well written and boring at times...took me over 2 days to finish this short listen because I was like Really? If you want a brainless listen that has some sexy time in it...this will do it for you....but I do not recommend this book..but highly do recommend this narrator...3rd listen of hers and I like Meghan very much!

This book was given to me as an ACR for an honest review. I love shifter and bears are my favorite. This is in my top ten favs now. Lila is a human who was raised by wolf shifters after they killed her parent when she was 7. She is now in her early 20's and being sold as a bride after her adopted parents are killed. Grant and Adrian are bear shifter and brothers looking for a mate. This is their story of love and loss and finding each other. I did not want to put this book down. Wonderful story, I love this world Amira has created. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Super great bear shifter novel

This book has a super plot line. Characters you can identify with. All in one book. I hate the books that make you buy more books to get the whole story. While it has sex, it is not too graphic. I get distracted with books that have too much detail trying to picture masses of body parts fitting together here or there or somewhere.
It includes a mention of a dragon shifter. I have stayed away from these books fearing they were too scary. This author makes me want to try one.
Overall the best shifter novel I have read to date.

This is the second book in this series, although each one is a stand alone story. Once a gain a fertile young woman is sold by her village so that they money can save the town. A little different in this one as wolf shifters are selling to bear shifters.

There is still the which brother will she choose for her life mate story line, just with a different set of shifters. The conflict in this tale comes from wolf packs who are constantly attacking the bear city. Not as much humour as the first book, but still a good read.

this book is fantastic romantic suspence for those who love shifter stories it had my complete attention front to back with Lila's tragic history losing 2 sets of parents to violence being sold to strangers thinking they may have had something to do with the latest . Let's just say having to chose between 2 equally strong handsome men can be tough. OI love the way Amira Rain wove the story. always willing and eager to read her books

Meh

So it was good in a fluffy sort of way, but I just didn't really connect with the story and the characters. Not to mention that everything was just too unbelievably and conveniently happy after the start of the story. So yeah, just meh for me. Don't think I'll read the others in the series (even if they're free with Kindle Unlimited) unless I get hideously bored and can't find anything else

I liked that some of the characters were brought over from previous novel so you could see what happened to them. I would like to see how this family's life goes on from here. I liked the ending of this book. It was not what I was expecting which was good. My problem is that it is too much like her last novel and the characters are kind of put to the back ground to the day to day stuff happening. I think this needs to be a longer novel to give it the full attention it needs.

So Hard to Choose

This was a very good read. Had enough back ground to explain where the story starting from. Lila is running again for her life with no hope escape. Still she has to try. She's saved but why. As she learns about those who saved her she learns to love the family that saves her. Looking forward to next in story line.

Awesome

Enjoyed the the book very much and the chemistry of the characters were awesome. I am so happy that all three of them stayed together and that, Lila, didn't have to choose. I was very happy with my purchase and hopefully you will found a mate for, Steven, from Sold to the Dragons. Looking forward to reading more and highly recommended.

Easy Read

Even though this was a well know plot focused on a manage a trois, the development of the female character was well done. The progression and understanding of her emotional epiphany was what made the story interesting to me and to other readers. I highly recommend this book to others.

I liked this story. The tale was woven well, with intricacies that made the story interesting, especially with Grant. Adrian's relationship wasn't as developed as the relationship was with Grant. However, I think it would have taken away from the story by making it too complicated. I enjoyed the tale

I think I can count on one hand how many one star reviews I've given. I try not to be too critical, but this book just was awful. The premise was good, but the execution! Not so much. It was almost as if this book was written by a 15 year old virgin. It was like the author was afraid to use words like pussy and cock. I also, think more research into menage should be done by this author as well.

Different from the first, and ended just how I wanted the first to end. I'm still crushed that Steven is alone. He should have been with Kira as well. A anyhow, I love the dynamic of Grant, Adrian, and Lila. They have this very loving and adventurous life together. I wish there was more on the after of their lives.
