Evelyn's contentment at reuniting with Zack is cut short when one of his teammates--with no explanation--asks her to steer clear of the quarterback as a "personal favor." She initially decides to ignore the so-called advice, but then--realizing that she is becoming more and more attached to him, frightened by the intensity of her feelings--decides to cut him off, avoiding him and not answering his texts.

When Zack's performance at the ultimate game of the season falters, Evelyn comes to the conclusion that she and Zack are better off together--but then her roommate shows her the front page of the newspaper with Zack doing something that he shouldn't have been. Will it ruin their chances at happiness yet again?

This book started with everything al good in the Evie an Zack camp until someone got into Evie's head an made her doubt what she was doin with Zack she knew he luvd her after he shouted 2 the whole dinner hall which I found so funny an cute she was tryin 2 keep herself away from him so she could concentrate on her work an him on football but she didn't think talkin 2 him 2 c what he wanted was the rite thing (stupid woman)

I m so gutted I wish this book was a lil better I luvd the second 1 so much this book dragged a lil it started good but then got slow in the middle it was a load of what if I still luv Evie but this book made her not as strong as the first an second book Zack is still gorgeous an very sexy I did feel sorry 4 him in this book in part cause Evie was just leaving him hangin

There sexy time is still smoking hot God these 2 r great 2gether I just luv it when there 2gether an they communicate they have a great relationship if Evie would just stop over thinkin things an go with it but then I understand a lil why she as her walls up when we got 2 the end I dying 2 know what is goin 2 happen 2 these 2 xxx

March 12.... I need to stop reading these shorts until they are completed. Its fine while I'm studying all semester. Nut with the semester break these shorts are driving me batshit crazy. Now I have to wait 6 days to read a few more chapters... mad I tell ya.... mad.

It has many redeeming qualities. The characters were likable at best neutral at worst. The writing was much better than expected. I developed an interest that withstood to the end. The plot was nice, somewhat original or had its own unique flair. The writing was good, and the pretense wasn’t half bad, the romance was simmering with few exceptions. The male/female lead showed hints of abuse both verbal and physical, or signs of spot on or forced chemistry. It was a tiny bit predictable. Overall, liked it enough, entertaining.

I am really enjoying this series by Claire. I love seeing Zack with Evie but when a teammate says to stay away, can she leave Zack alone? U know by reading that something is happening and reading the cliffy I can't wait to read book 4 to find out what is going on

Push & pull themes rarely work especially when the participants are highly confused & don't know their left hand from their right as is the case of our heroine Evie.

Who in their right senses actually allows a random stranger to manipulate their sex life & than gets on their horse at the resulting fall-out.I recommend this heroine requires a mental growth spurt & should abstain from any relationships until she is mature enough to handle one.

Evie has a lot to think about. Will her shutout hurt or help Zack? There were plenty of steamy parts and it was a great installment in the Slammed series. I love the subtle cliffy at the end too. Once again Claire Adams has me wishing I can give it at 10!

Quick read

This book is exciting when the final two football games happen and Evie attempts to stay away from Zach but is sadly mistaken and reconnects with Zach.

It was almost as good as the first two, but I still liked it.
