Experiments in Mathematics CD

Rate this book
In the short time since the first edition of Mathematics by Experiment: Plausible Reasoning in the 21st Century and Experimentation in Mathematics: Computational Paths to Discovery, there has been a noticeable upsurge in interest in using computers to do real mathematics. The authors have updated and enhanced the book files and are now making them available in PDF format on a CD-ROM. This CD provides several "smart" features, including hyperlinks for: - all numbered equations - all Internet URLs - bibliographic references and an augmented search facility assists one with locating a particular mathematical formula or expression. These enhancements significantly improve the usability of these files and the CD-ROM itself enhances the reader's experience.
