If they can’t help heal her fractured mind they’ll never get the justice they crave.

Maya Newell was only fourteen years old when she was snatched off the streets and disappeared into the dark world of human trafficking. Now half a lifetime later her body still lives but her mind has long since fled, hiding in a faraway place where the horrors she endures daily can't touch it. When six men break into the home of the man who owns her she doesn't believe they're any different, because she doesn't believe in humanity anymore. They're full of promises of safety and freedom, but there is no real freedom for a mind already destroyed like hers is, and no safety for a woman owned by a sadistic psychopath.

For Thunder and his team, this is the closest they've come to finally getting their hands on the man responsible for changing them. Just because they aren't really monsters doesn't mean they won't rip Dr. Gardner to shreds the second they catch him. But he's fled his home before they get there, and the only link to him they have is a woman with empty eyes who doesn't speak, and is barely human anymore. Nothing they say or do seems to convince her that she is no longer property, and without her help they might never get their revenge.

Their only hope is finding a way to communicate with the traumatized woman, to reach her detached mind and pull her back into sanity.

When the team goes after the doctor that lied to them and kept them prisoners for 3 years. They're out for revenge and who could blame them. When they think they're going to find the doctor, they find Maya instead.

She has been the doctors for years, his play thing, his sex slave. When Thunder finds her, he instantly feels something for her. He can't believe how he feels, he's never felt this before. He's very protective of her and will do anything to make her feel safe.

Maya is scared to believe that the team is any different from Dr. Garner. When she starts feeling like they're the good guys, she overhears something and it totally discourages her and it breaks her heart. She's a very strong person even after everything she's been through and she proves it time and time again to the team. She felt that she was making friends and connections but feels that they're using her now.

The way that Thunder is with her is special. He tries to show her all men are not the same. Will he be able to prove to her that she is the one for him? Will she believe Thunder when he tells her how he feels?

I absolutely loved how Thunder was with Maya. He knew somehow what she needed and tried to give it to her. This was written so you're pulled in from the beginning and have a hard time putting it down until you finish the book. I would suggest reading the whole series so you get to meet the team and fall in love with all of them.

Thunder is the next member of the team to find his unexpected other half. This book, just like the others, starts with a bang and is non-stop until the end. When the team attacks what they think is where their nemesis is hiding, they find Maya trapped in a cage, and you can tell she has been kept under horrible conditions. Thunder is immediately drawn to her, but there is a long road because Maya is dealing with intense trauma, and she has escaped inside her head, so she is distrustful and really doesn’t know how to function when met with kindness. Thunder is determined to help her and goes to great lengths to make her trust him and feel safe. The real test comes when they get another opportunity to finally get their revenge, and Maya becomes a key part of the plan.

This book is intense and at times hard to read. Maya’s story is so heartbreaking, but Thunder pulls out all the stops to pull Maya out of the darkness and into his world. I love a story of healing and growth, and Maya and Thunder both do a lot of healing in this book. Warning: this book is intense and has themes that might be triggering, so you have been warned. Overall, another exciting installment in this series with an unexpected ending…

Well, what can I say? Yet another dark and dramatic episode in the Delta Team series.
When the team raids on another of Dr Gardners homes, they find a clearly traumatised victim. She has been kept in horrendous circumstances, and they don’t know who she is, though Thunder is immediately struck by her and calls her his Babydoll.
Maya is dragged out of the safe place she disappears to in her head by Thunder and his team and slowly begins to trust. But she has been a captive for a long while, so her trust is slow to come. As the truth emerges Thunder and Maya (Babydoll) grow closer. But will be able to locate their joint abuser? Will he get the punishment he so deserves? Will there be peace ahead for Maya and Thunder or is more drama heading their way?
This new series of Jane’s is dark, dramatic and full of suspense. Just how much trauma can she throw at her characters? I found myself emotionally wrecked by this book and the trials, traumas and troubles inflicted on the team and the women they connect with. I eagerly await the next book in the series.

This book started with a shock and continued through out the entire story. Boy Maya's story is a hard one, she went through most of her life being trafficked and someone's pet. Until Thunder and his team came across one of Dr. Gardner's homes and a secret he kept hidden. When they brought her out they thought she was lost in her own world and would never make it out, but she was stronger than they believed. She was never going to be anyone's slave again and she would make sure of that. Thunder felt a connection with Maya from the moment he saw her and he was bound and determined to help her and keep her safe. His team knew that Dr. Gardner would never give up on getting his "Team" back including his toy. This is a very intense, suspenseful and a lot of angst and action book. I felt so bad for Maya and what she went through but so glad she got her happy ending with Thunder. There were a lot of surprises that happened in this story that I never saw coming. I highly recommend this book but start at the beginning of the series so you're not lost.

Book five in the Prey Security Delta series takes the story into harrowing territory. Thunder’s mission to find Dr. Gardner ends with the discovery of Maya — a woman who has endured thirteen years of captivity and sexual slavery. Her trauma is not glossed over, and the author gives her space to be fragile, fierce, and brave in her own time. Thunder’s steady patience and unwavering determination to return her to her family make their connection feel earned rather than rushed.

The suspense escalates as Maya chooses to confront her past head‑on, using herself as bait to help the Delta team finally eliminate Gardner. But the victory comes with a twist: Gardner’s dying confession that he was merely following his mother’s wishes. A mother long believed dead. A mother who may be the true architect behind the experimental drugs and years of suffering.

Thunder and Maya’s bond is strong, their healing believable, and the lingering mystery sets the stage for what’s clearly still to come. A dark, emotional, and compelling addition to the series.

Choice is the only thing he can offer her...

Thunder is as broken as Maya is, broken and damaged in a different way, but by the same monster.
The moment he sees her in that cage Thunder knows she will change his life. It's a turbulent and rocky path to recovery and healing, because neither has ever been given the opportunity to feel and act on any of their emotions, showing emotions has always meant punishment. So dealing with the overwhelming and very new emotions their chemistry stirs up, along with the clawing need to feel safe and have some control, makes it another challenge they have to face. But working through it together, rather than running as every instinct tells them to, allows them to find a way to begin the healing process. It will be a very long and emotional journey, but seeing them take those first steps together is heartwarming and will make them stronger than trying to take it alone. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

I loved Thunder and Maya. The last thing Thunder thought he would find was a woman locked up and scared out of her mind. He felt protective of her and just wanted her to know she was safe. This was not going to be easy, Maya was taken when she was in her teens and turned into a pet for the Dr.’s own pleasure but didn’t mind sharing. Not knowing what is real and what is fake Maya is having a hard time adjusting to being out of captivity and isn’t sure who to trust, but she’s starting to think Thunder could be safe. All this time searching for the doctor who ruined their lives was hopefully coming to an end; they just needed one break that’s all it would take and to use someone to bait the doctor into making a move. Such a great read, sorry this series is over but excited for what’s to come.

The next to last installment, Obsessive Revenge, in the Prey Security Delta Team series, is every bit as emotional and intense as the rest of the books. In fact, it may be more so. How can you help someone who knows deep down that they're better off dead than living? Or what does it say about someone whose bedroom walls are all painted black? Maya and Thunder are two very damaged souls but seeing her trapped in a cage before he rescues her unlocks something in his heart. No matter how hard he tries to earn her trust she's determined to end it all. But he keeps trying and it seems the magic happens when she finally realizes she has a choice that's hers and hers alone. The team tries one more time to end Dr Gardner. The results? Let's just say surprising! Thunder and Maya find the love they both desperately want and need.

This series is truly outstanding. Every book seems to really outdo the previous with a great and mind blowing story and all the characters just become familiar. This story is slightly different to the others in the series because there is not much action and drama but rather it delves into the mind and insecurities of Maya after she is rescued from Evil Dr Gardner and Thunder has strong protective instincts for her. I found this to be emotionally raw and gritty and a very compelling story of trust and vulnerability. This would have to be my favourite in this series and I know the series is coming to an end but I have loved each and every book and all the wonderful characters we have met. Cannot wait for Lion’s book.

Obsessive Revenge

OMG! What a truly horrifically and intriguing story this is. Jane definitely has a darkness in these stories. Her mind is truly brilliant! This story is about Maya and Thunder. Your heart is definitely in your throat throughout this entire book. There is one scene that is so horrific that you will cringe as well as have tears in your eyes. It is definitely a scene that you wish didn't happen but you know that happens in real life to poor innocent girls and women. Saying Maya is a strong survivor is a definite understatement. So happy this team with Maya's help ended at least one evil devil but now find out there is still a threat out there. FANTASTIC job Jane! I would highly recommend this book! Can't wait for Lion's book!

Obsessive Revenge shreds your heart.
Maya completely breaks you as she struggles—confused and unable to grasp reality. Thunder, on the other hand, melts you as he fights to right the wrongs in her world.
The pain and torture will have you seeing red, making every moment hit harder. The team has grown from their blunders and only gets stronger, adding depth and strength to the mission.
You’re left on edge the entire time, waiting for the evil to finally be taken down—only to be hit with an unexpected twist no one sees coming.
A raw, emotional, and intense story packed with pain, growth, and suspense, delivering a powerful impact and a shocking twist.

This is the 5th book in her Prey Security: Delta Team series and things are never simple with Jane Blythe. Just when you think these guys are getting their well-deserved revenge....

The beginning starts with a raid on their nemesis' island home and discovering a woman being kept in a cage in a dark, windowless room. Thunder and Maya have an incredibly rocky road, but throughout the book watching them navigate their feelings and traumas is heart wrenching and beautiful.

Can't wait to see how everything unfolds in the next and last book in this series! I have every confidence Jane Blythe will bring us a conclusion we never envisioned and will not see coming!

The depth of emotion in this book was so compelling. Maya and Thunder was a beautiful relationship that went from Silence to a quiet loving partnership.

Maya was saved by Thunder and his Prey team from being a caged sex slave for a delusional doctor.

I liked the way that Maya's silence still explained all her emotion. The slow build formed a lasting bond and the way Thunder was with her spoke volumes.

Amazing writing, depth of emotions from characters we know and love as well as that team partnership that i always enjoy. This book had deep feelings that I enjoyed bringing out and I value that. Fantastic book truly!

This series has really captured me and I’ve loved reading more about each of the characters in the team

This book featured Thunder and Maya. Poor Maya had gone through horrific times in all the years since she had been taken. The strength she had to get through all that was astounding. Thunder saw her strength and had faith that she could have a new life. I’m so glad he didn’t give up on her.

Another enjoyable read and I now can’t wait to see what Lion has in store for him, I really hope he finally gets his happy ending.

The fifth book brings the raw and gritty story of Maya and Thunder. Finally thinking they have closed in on the evil they are pursuing, the mission brings a discovery that adds another to the found family of Delta Team. But the tortured soul of Maya may not want to be rescued. I loved Thunder’s determination to reach Maya. It was a hard journey of trust building, heartache and soul deep struggles. Just when the Team thinks they have met their goal, another twist has left me looking forward to the next in this series.

What an emotional and suspenseful read! Bring out the tissues as the pain and turmoil of Thunder and Maya are woven throughout the story. Maya is rescued by the Thunder and the Delta Team. She had been held captive so so long as she was very young when she was taken. This story is full of horror, pain, trauma and darkness yet you see the healing and light coming though as they both begin to heal.
Will Thunder and Maya get their HEA? What about the Dr the team is chasing? Will they finally get their revenge? I could not put down this book, its fantastically addictive!

Another gripping, fast-paced addition to this series from Jane Blythe. Thunder and Maya face countless obstacles on their journey to a hard-earned happily ever after, keeping the tension high from beginning to end. As with the rest of the series, the story is dark, emotional, and often traumatic, with both the heroes and heroines forced to fight for every step forward. The suspense, danger, and emotional depth make this a compelling read. I am looking forward to the next book, which promises to bring this intense series to its conclusion.

I just love getting to know the Prey Security world with each book. These strong, alpha, protective men with tragic pasts finding their soulmates. They have their own trauma and go toe to toe with them and are their perfect match. Their connection is immediate but their journey towards each other and peace isn’t an easy one. This story is emotional, intense and unputdownable. Could be triggering for some. Check your TWs

Book 5 of the elusive Delta team. The search for Dr Garner continues. The team may be closer to they ever been to find him. A capture mission becomes a rescue mission but what happens when the rescuee does not want to be rescued? The journey to Thunder and Maya's HEA might not be a HEA after all. Buckle in folks because Jane's books are never easy and the ending you never say coming.

Another well-written book from Jane. This story is dark, emotional, and has suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The Delta team is searching, yet again for Dr. Garner, but find Maya, his sex slave. Thunder is very possessive of Maya, and tries to help her everyway imaginable. Couldn't put down until finished.
