Three months after Oxford, the unraveling has spread beyond anything the Weavers feared. Those who remain are scattered, forced into hiding as the war closes in around them.
Lily Whitmore is bound to August Hawthorne by a connection she cannot sever. He's forgetting everything-his past, his humanity, her. But the bond between them doesn't care what he remembers. It only knows she's the one thing worth fighting back for.
In two weeks, he will be used to prove that no Weaver is beyond erasure.
Lily refuses to let that be his ending. But saving August means stepping into the very force destroying him, risking the fragile bond that ties them together and the magic she is only beginning to understand. The deeper she reaches into the Weave, the more she begins to realize the restoring what was lost will demand more than she can safely give.
Because this time, the cost of saving him will not be her power.
It will be her.
THE THREADS BETWEEN is the final book in The Witches of the Weave romantasy duology. If you love soul bonds, touch-her-and-die, and lovers who would burn the world down for each other, you'll love this soul-shattering finale.

A lifelong dreamer and storyteller, she thrives on exploring themes of fate, sacrifice, and the cost of power. When she’s not lost in the worlds she creates, she’s embracing the beautiful chaos of motherhood, devouring books, and connecting with fellow fantasy lovers through content creation.
The Starfire Prophecy is her debut novel, the first of many journeys into epic love, fate-defying choices, and the magic that lingers in the shadows.
I need to start by saying thank you to Chantelle for the opportunity to read this book in advance....seriously thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
Beautiful, shattering, heartwarming! I gave myself a few days to finish the last 13% of this book, because I had a feeling that it would crush my heart somehow....and that's exactly what it did! August and Lily's story was lifechanging. And the way the author wrote it had me in tears. Everything ties together in the most stunning way! The magic system is so unique. If you enjoyed reading Outlander, then give this a try!
Have you ever read a book that literally left you grieving, in tears, felt seen and your heart full??? If you haven’t pleaseeeeeeeeee I beg of you to read this duology !! I am left a blubbering mess! Chantelle you have a beautiful way with words and for story telling and I want to read not only everything you write but even your grocery list !!!! This story was beautiful, sad, and powerful. The romance was something I felt deep in my bones and I’m devastated. The women empowerment and rage I felt through each page left me in goosebumps. Thank you for giving me to opportunity to read the ARC. This duology will live in my heart rent free forever 😮💨🤌🏽
I don’t know how I’m supposed to review this because I literally cannot stop crying. I have SOBBED for the past hour. Like, SOBBED.
I loved book one, but book two brings so much more depth to the story and the characters. The whole duology is so fast paced and easy to follow, but somehow it still makes you feel completely immersed in the characters. Like, I LOVE THEM ALL SO MUCH.
Heartbreakingly heartbreaking. Beautiful. Sad. Lovely. Aching. I genuinely don’t even know how to process it.
I need to know where I can send my therapy bills because WHAT WAS THAT. I don’t know how I’m ever supposed to get over this. 😭
Really knows how to make you fall in love with August and Lily, their journey and then pull your heart out when it's still beating to be so painful beautiful bittersweet ending.
Knowing that with the greatest love, brings the deepest of sadness and grief when you lose that person who helps you become who you are meant to be. You are so entwined in each other to be together but also apart. You are each other's clarity in the midst of darkness and finding out who you are down to your core.
We all have to make decisions, that impact not only the past but the present and future.
I have been so grateful to have been a part of Chantelle's journey with her books and to be able to see it comes to its conclusion so heartbreakingly unbelievably good. It is devastating and so much love and loss.
I don't think I have ever cried so much tears throughout a book in its first few pages. It's been a turbulence of emotions.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book destroyed me. And then it did it again a few more times. It is absolutely soul shattering. I loved every page! It is hard to truly describe the emotional rollercoaster that this book put me through. I am not sure I’ll ever be able to do it justice. The writing was incredible, the world was beautiful, and the characters took me into their story making me feel every moment of pain, frustration, but also happiness. This is a book that shatters you and will change your life because thinking about it will consume you. Good luck comparing anything else to this masterpiece!
!! SPOILERS DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED THE BOOK !!
Firstly, I want to just take a moment to express how incredibly proud of Chantelle. All I could think through this story is, “Grandma would be so proud of her.” and a part of me truly believes that she was telling me to convey that to you.
I have read all three of Chantelle’s books and with full honesty I can say that I have loved every single one. I had no doubt in my mind that I was going to enjoy her stories and saying that I enjoy them doesn’t convey my feelings towards these stories perfectly. I can see how much she has grown as an author throughout her writing, and I genuinely feel like The Witches’ Weave is where she really found her voice. If you know Chantelle at all, you know that this book embodies her fully, her kind heart, her deep love for those she cherishes, and bits of her soul can just be felt so deeply between the lines of these books. We have both shared a loss of someone who had the most beautiful soul, so I want to thank Chantelle for this book because in a way, I think you unknowingly helped me to accept some things and taught me how to carry that grief.
My thoughts on this book is that it crushed me completely, but it also felt like a warm and comforting hug to the pain that I and many others keep inside of us. One line that lingered with me was, “Grief wasn’t love misplaced. It was love’s proof of purchase…” I think it’s easy to ignore the grief and the loss that we are all unfortunately exposed to in life—a horrible and inevitable truth—but something beautiful can be brought out of that pain that had once been love for someone or something.
I saw myself so much in Lily and in August and as bitter-sweet as the ending to their story is, it’s a beautiful, honest, and realistic one and I loved it.
This book truly embodies what it means to have loved and to have lost and how we choose to hold pain and live with it. My word’s can’t do justice to how beautifully this book was written. I have no notes genuinely. A beautiful story from start to end. The magic system, the writing, the characters (there were so many but she made them each stand out and I loved that. They weren’t simply a body to fill a plot whole but an important thread in the weave of all things.) And at the center of it all are two beautiful characters, so wonderfully written, that stole the hearts of all.
Thank you for sharing your writings with us! You’ve touched lives with your words—I know because you have touched mine.
And if you read all this way please also read The Starfire Prophecy (which I need part two neoW) and support Chantelle on all socials and share this book with your friends :3

E-ARC REVIEW! Thank you so much Chantelle for letting me be apart of your Street Team! I love this series and so sad it’s over! Beautifully written and would recommend it to everyone! Did it break my heart, yes it did; but sooo worth the read!
Thank you Chantelle for the absolute honor of reading this advanced copy.
The Threads Between completely captivated me. With witches who wield weaver magic facing extermination at the hands of hunters who fear them, Lily and August must fight for each other, their love, and the truth about themselves.
The magic system is intricately crafted and, at times, incredibly intimate. The vivid descriptions played out so clearly in my mind that I felt completely pulled into the story. The writing is beautiful, the plotting clever, and there were so many edge of your seat moments, that I found myself holding my breath.
And the twists? Brilliant. I thought I knew where the ending was heading, then the story surprised me again. The tension, the emotion, the magic, and the love at the heart of it all came together so beautifully.
This book left me utterly devastated and absolutely breathless. A haunting, immersive, beautifully written story that I won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
Have you ever been wrecked so good by a book that you snotty cry in public and then stare at the ceiling and feel the feels… yeah you’re gonna need this book. Full review coming…
The Threads Between by Chantelle N. Kerr absolutely broke my heart in the best possible way. It has taken me so long to write this review because I needed to recover emotionally, and I refused to spoil anything far ahead of release. But now that we're less than 30 days away, I NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS BOOK!
When I tell you I devoured it, I mean I could not put it down. The yearning, the heartbreak, the battles, the love, the loss, the fight to reclaim what has been stolen from you. EVERYTHING. This is a story about finding yourself, fighting for the people you love, and discovering just how much you are willing to endure to find your way back to them. The plot never stops moving, but the romance and emotional depth are what truly make this book unforgettable. I cried, I snotted, I stared at the wall, and I genuinely did not know what to do with myself when it was over.
If you love a man who YEARNS, August is about to become your entire personality. This man is determined to find his way back to his woman, and the depth of his love absolutely destroyed me. But let's talk about Lily because SHE IS A POWERHOUSE! After the events of The Last Stitch, she is doing everything she can to save August, and watching her fight for him while discovering her own strength was incredible. The female empowerment in this book is everything. We also get to reunite with characters we've grown to love, experience new challenges, and suffer losses that will absolutely devastate you. Chantelle has such a beautiful way of writing characters that they stop feeling fictional and start feeling like family. Every relationship has meaning, every sacrifice hurts, and every battle feels personal. I wasn't simply reading about August and Lily. I felt like I was right there with them, fighting, loving, grieving, and hoping they would find their way back to each other. And the way all those threads come together? I AM STILL NOT OKAY.
Five stars aren't nearly enough for The Threads Between. This book left me completely “unraveled,” emotionally devastated, and somehow grateful for every single tear. If you love character driven romantasy, soul crushing yearning, powerful women, found family, and a love worth fighting absolutely everything for, YOU NEED THIS SERIES. Read The Last Stitch, prepare your heart, and get ready because this book is going to destroy you in the most beautiful way. I cannot recommend it enough.
Chantelle, ma’am we need to talk because I need you to pay for my therapy bill after that heart-wrenching ending you made me suffer through! This book absolutely broke me but in the best way and if you need a book to make you feel and get a good cry in, enter at your own risk!
You pickup where the last book left off, with our FMC lily having narrowly escaped the unraveling done by August through his fathers influence at the end of the last book. With them now separated and August under his fathers control, plus having lost many of their friends, lily struggles to find the will to keep going. But those around her cannot let their deaths be in vain and try to come up with a solution that will get August out of his father’s clutches before he looses himself completely to his father’s corruption. Can she use the fragile bond between them to pull him out of this before even more witches are put at risk?
I absolutely loved this book and the whole story that the duology tells of love and sacrifice and a group of people hunted for who they are banding together to save each other, even if it means risking their own lives. The found family Lily has built around herself in this world who help build up her confidence and be there for her as she navigates this chaos is one of my favorite aspects of the books and the unbreakable bonds she forms with the others who refuse to run and instead want to stand and fight. The yearning of her and August for each other and seeing him still hope for her even amidst the corruption breaking him was so heartbreaking to read. And then that ending absolutely broke me in the best way, so prepare a big box of tissues for when you get there! Overall my rating 5/5!
Thanks to the author for the gifted copy, all opinions given are my own!
The final book in The Witches’ Weave duology, and I honestly don’t know if my heart is ready to let this story go. I had the honor of ARC reading both books, and while I loved the first one, BOOK TWO OWNS MY HEART!
This is portal fantasy at its finest: dark, beautiful, tragic, and filled with love and hope. The author has woven together a truly magical story that pulled me in and reminded me why I love getting lost in a book.
I adore Lily and August! Their struggles, beliefs, and personal growth had me in awe.
Imagine being transported to another time, where people are killed simply for being different. What would you do? How would you help? How far would you go for the people you love? Could you open your mind to something completely different from everything you’ve ever believed? These are just some of the questions and struggles woven throughout this story.
I’m so sad to say goodbye to these characters and this world, but I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect ending.
If you’re looking for a story that is magical, heartbreaking, and full of love, PLEASE PUT THIS DUOLOGY ON YOUR TBR! You don’t want to miss this one!
I just don’t feel like I can fully encompass what this book did to my brain chemistry. To my heart. To me. Because what an experience it is… to not only grieve a story, the characters, the very bones of this book. But to feel as if I am grieving alongside the author. The one who cried over writing these pages, and made me cry too.
Will I ever get over August & Lily? No. This was grief that is raw and bittersweet. Devastating, with cracks in corners filled with an unbearable amount of love if you know where to look. A story that will always stick with me, and will be SO hard to forget. The one that will pop into my head months from now while doing something mundane like washing the dishes or rearranging my bookshelves and still cause the deepest ache in my chest.
Absolutely beautiful.
Thank you SO much Chantelle for stitching together a love story across time, into every piece in your beautiful box, and for captivating my heart along the way.
"Lily was not merely beside me- though she was that too, curled against my chest, her hair spread across my shoulder like spilled copper. But within me".
My heart almost gave out on me no less than 4 times when reading this. This historical time traveling romanatsy will whisk you away and leave you utterly breathless. I fear this will make you cry, but absolutely WORTH it! This duology is a must read!
WOW! I was privileged to have ARC read the first book The Last Stitch that left my jaw dropped on a cliffhanger of an ending.
We continue with the second book of this duology right after the events that transpired with August and the corrupted pendant.
This second book was an intense read as the fight for survival among the weavers. Lily is so strong despite all her heartaches, self doubts. She is so resilient as she fights corruption to save the man she loves, August.
Now, the author had warned in pervious posts this does not end as a HEA, which is true. It ends on more on a full circle moment that is brought to life with knowing to love someone fiercely results in never forgetting them. Grief doesn't equate to ending. Grief is knowing you have loved and continue to love.
The last few chapters was so beautifully written that my heart broke and repaired itself all at once.
Oh, my heart is ACHING after that ending! 😭 Talk about making sacrifices for the people you love. What an absolutely heartbreaking yet beautiful way to end a duology. The unique magic system drew me in, and the overall premise had me hooked from the start. This story gave me all the feels, and that ending completely wrecked me in the best way possible. I need some time to recover from this one, but I absolutely loved this book and this entire duet! ❤️🩹✨
This is the sequel to The Last Stitch and the finale of the Witches Weave Duology. I have 0 words to convey the depths of emotions Chantelle pulled out of me in this second book. This book is beautiful, poignant, heartwarming, and absolutely leaves you emotionally raw. Lily and August have forever set a standard I didn't know existed. If you loved Outlander, please please read this.
What a beautiful end to such a great duology. That last little bit got me. It broke my heart but in the most beautiful way and left me hopeful. Not only was this a wonderful witchy tale about magic and friendships and overcoming the bad things, but it was also a great tale of Love and the footprint it leaves on your heart even when you lose the ones you love the most. What an amazing job from this author. "Grief wasn't love misplaced. It was love's proof of purchase."
"I would not trade the grief. Not for safety. Not for numbness. Not even for peace. It meant I had loved well enough for the losing to matter."
Wow… I don’t know if I finished this book or this book finished me. I sat in a Wendy’s parking lot ugly crying with a half eaten frosty for a good bit after finishing this book. Such a rollercoaster of a story with an ending you really didn’t see coming. An ending but yet a new beginning. You won’t regret reading this on… and it’ll stick with you for a long time
This book was beautiful, romantic, devastating, and full of the yearning I LOVEEEE in a book.
Lily and August’s connection completely pulled me in. Their bond felt so intimate and all consuming, and August’s journey from believing he was something monstrous, to discovering who he truly wanted to be was one of my favorite parts of the story.
And THE YEARNING. This man loves her with every part of himself, and I ate up every second of it.
Now…the ending absolutely wrecked me. It’s bittersweet, emotional, and one of those endings that makes you sit there for a minute after finishing because you’re not quite ready to let the characters go.
A gorgeous story about love, sacrifice, grief, and the kind of connection that can transcend even the impossible. Apparently “I’ll find you in every lifetime” romances are my emotional kryptonite. 🥺

I want to thank Chantelle for allowing me Beta read. Thank you!, This duology conclusion is stunning and as I’m still recovering from finishing it, and I will read the final version as well and listen to all the audio I can consume of it. I think about this book daily- it is was so beautifully written. I laughed, I cried. And when I tell you that I ugly cried for a prolonged period of time and still tear up thinking about it…let me tell you 😮💨. This duology lives on my heart- this conclusion was nothing I expected and so amazing. Chantelle not only concluded the story in the most beautiful and thought provoking way but it’s so memorable. Definitely add this to your TBR!
THIS DUOLOGY IS EVERYTHING. The characters, their relationships, the jaw dropping events that occur through the very last page...
When I say I couldn't breathe - I mean, gasping through tears over this beautifully devastating ending.
No notes. Just read this immediately.
To be able to evoke such emotion out of your readers is a testament to your immense talent. Thank you for the opportunity to review as a beta and arc reader. 🫶
After the ending of The Last Stitch, I desperately needed answers, and The Threads Between absolutely delivered. I loved the first book, but this one took everything I loved about it and somehow made it even better. Higher stakes, darker magic, more heartbreak, and a romance that had me completely emotionally invested from beginning to end.
Lily and August already had me in a chokehold, but watching their relationship unfold in this book was a whole different kind of emotional torture. There's something absolutely devastating about watching someone slowly forget the person they love, especially when the connection between them refuses to let go. And August? Our broody, morally conflicted witch hunter is still making me swoon, even when he's breaking my heart. The lengths these two are willing to go for each other are both beautiful and heartbreaking.
I also loved seeing Lily's growth. She's no longer just a girl pulled out of modern Oxford trying to survive in a world she doesn't understand. She's determined, she's fighting for the people she loves, and she's learning just how dangerous the Weave can be. The magic and world-building continue to be some of my favorite parts of this duology, especially how closely everything is tied to fate, sacrifice, and the emotional stakes of the story. And let me tell you, the anxiety I experienced waiting to see how everything would unfold was REAL.
And then there's that letter at the end.
I SOBBED. Absolutely sobbed. I won't spoil anything, but after everything these characters went through, that letter completely broke me. I was not prepared for how hard it would hit, and I'm honestly still not over it.
The Last Stitch scratched that Outlander-wanting itch in my soul, but The Threads Between gave me an emotional conclusion I didn't know I needed. This duology beautifully weaves together time travel, forbidden magic, fate, and a love that refuses to surrender, even when everything is working against it. If you love soul bonds, broody men who would burn the world down for the woman they love, and romances that make you feel absolutely everything, this duology deserves a spot on your shelf.
Now excuse me while I emotionally recover from that letter, because apparently having my heart ripped out by fictional characters is my idea of a good time.
To say my anticipation for The Threads Between was sky-high after ARC reading The Last Stitch is a massive understatement—and this conclusion was an absolute 5-star read that exceeded every single expectation. This book ruined me in the best possible way. It is beautifully sad, utterly crushing, and completely perfect.
Picking up directly after the dramatic ending of The Last Stitch, we find August and Lily separated, each desperately fighting their way back to one another. At its core, this is a deeply poignant story about love and sacrifice. Every decision, every hurdle, and every impossible choice is heavy with emotion, proving just how far these characters are willing to go for love.
The yearning between Lily and August is off the charts—it is mutual, agonising, and written to absolute chef's kiss perfection. August’s fierce, unwavering determination to get back to Lily, paired with Lily’s own strength and longing, will leave you completely breathless. Every sacrifice along their journey is written with such incredible care and precision that I was left moved to tears.
Beyond the romance, the character growth and world-building are phenomenal. The female characters bring a level of rage and empowerment that is strictly top tier. They are fierce, complex, and unstoppable, lending an electric energy to every scene.
The Threads Between is an absolutely captivating fantasy read. It left me with goosebumps and sobbing into my hands; I repeatedly had to put the book down simply because I couldn't bear the thought of it ending. In a genre that is so well read and written, Chantelle N. Kerr’s storytelling shines with pure skill and heart. She should be so incredibly proud of this work.
Huge congratulations, Chantelle—I cannot wait to see what you write next! Do yourself a favour: if you love Romantasy, pick up the Witches' Weave duology immediately. 🧵⚔️✨
A beautiful, heartbreaking and unforgettable conclusion to The Witches’ Weave duology! The Threads Between picks up shortly where book 1 left off and we were once again immersed back into the magical world of Oxford, England with our favorite characters as they fight to save the Weavers, magic and each other. Chantelle created such a beautiful story of love, loss, magic, friendship and family while creating two characters, Lily and August that I wasn’t quite ready to let go of as the book concluded. I was crying real tears at the end of the book and still don’t think my heart has recovered. A love story that spans over a century, proving that love knows no bounds, even when time, loss and grief stand in the way. The author truly has a way with words and there were so many well-done quotes and moments throughout the book. I loved the setting of 1800s Oxford plus the time travel elements, the fact that our girl Lily is such a powerful weaver as she fights for the people she loves and the unique thread magic throughout. But what stood out to me most as I was reading this book was how it really explored what it means to love and what it means to grieve and how the two are so deeply intertwined in life. This duology reminded why I love getting lost in a book and it is a magical story that will stay with me long after reading the final page. I will be recommending this duology to everyone and after reading all of Chantelle’s books, I can’t wait to see what she creates next. Thank you so much to Chantelle Kerr for providing me with an ARC of this book, it was such a great conclusion to your duology!!
Witch x witch hunter, soul bonds, time travel, forbidden love, found family, and enough tension to drive me absolutely crazy! Lily and August's story put me through every emotion possible. I hoped, I hurt, I fell in love, and I ugly cried more than I should probably admit.
The love, the longing, the tension between them... OH MY HEART!
TIME TRAVEL! Lily is a woman from the future who finds herself in a world where magic is forbidden, and the man she's falling for has been raised to hunt people just like her. Two people from completely different times, with completely different beliefs, somehow finding a connection that defies everything they know.
It takes a lot for a book to bring me to tears, but this one made me a complete mess! The last several chapters absolutely unraveled me, and I'm still trying to recover.
Somehow, after all that emotional damage, all I can think about is how incredibly beautiful this story is. There were moments that made my heart feel so full and others that had me clutching my chest, wondering how one story could make me feel so much.
I finished this book a while ago as a beta read, then again as an arc. I've struggled ever since to find the words to give it the review it deserves. I'm still not sure I've managed it because there are some stories you just have to experience for yourself.
The Threads Between is the second book in The Witches' Weave Duology, and I cannot recommend these books enough. If you haven't read The Last Stitch, start there because you need to experience Lily and August's entire story.
This book is going to live rent-free in my head and my heart for a very long time. I just love it so much.
I really loved the first book, and the author has once again completely won me over with this second installment. Lily and August stole my heart. I shuddered and suffered alongside them; I had my doubts and asked myself questions, and in the end, I found myself smiling... Chantelle has truly delighted me with the precision and richness she brings to the magic in her book. That’s one of the things I love most about books featuring witches: how they delve into how magic works. This book really satisfied my curiosity! The world-building is solid, and even the secondary characters play a full-fledged role in the plot. The struggle between good and evil really comes to life in this duology. It’s well-written and addictive. The characters are endearing and took me through an impressive range of emotions. In a word: Read it!!!
What an absolutely beautiful tale of love, loss, grief, and strength. The strength of women; the strength of love; the strength of friendship. It’s beautiful. And also heartbreaking. My gosh, the heartbreak. I get it though, I really do. This is the second book in The Witches Weave duology and it is a beautiful (yet heartbreaking) ending. Life doesn’t always go the way we expect it to. Most often, it doesn’t! And there really aren’t many romantasy stories out there that do that fact justice. Now, I do understand reading romantasy to get away from the ”realness” of life, but occasionally you need to read a story that resonates with you. August and Lily’s story is so beautiful. The descriptions of grief are so beautifully real. There is open door spice in this story, but it’s not too descriptive. I would rate 1.5/5 🌶️. Thank you so much to the author for the eARC. This voluntary review is my honest thoughts and opinions about this book. I think that you will enjoy this book if you enjoy stories about strong women, sisterhood, a heartbreaking love story for the ages, a witchy romantasy with a unique magic system, time travel, and a historical regency setting.
“My gran used to say that grief was just love with nowhere to go.”
“She'd been wrong about one thing—grief wasn't love misplaced. It was love's proof of purchase.”
“I would not trade the grief. Not for safety. Not for numbness. Not even for peace. It meant I had loved well enough for the losing to matter.”
Is there a book you’ve read recently that made your heart shatter into a million pieces? A book so beautiful and heartbreaking yet uplifting and hopeful that you had to sit in the feels for a while after it ended to take it all in? For me, it was The Threads Between. The final book in The Witches Weave Duology which continues Lily and August’s love story and highlights the sacrifices people make for the ones they love, even when those sacrifices may come at a great cost.
Lily and Augusts story was just that. I was in love with their love, always fighting for one another even when it seemed hopeless, the unbreakable bond they shared, their strength and perseverance in the face of evil, and the love that remained through space and time.
Chantelle Kerr wrote a beautiful second book to her duology. One where I felt deeply for the characters and found myself hanging on every word that by the last few chapters I was a sobbing mess. It’s a story about love, loss, hope, sacrifice and family and one I will be thinking about for a long time.
Ms. Kerr, you have to stop doing this to me. This entire series destroyed me, in the best ways.
After the cliffhanger of The Last Stitch I was DESPERATE to get my hands on the ARC of The Threads Between. I needed to know what happened with Lily, August, and the Weavers ASAP.
I was not disappointed, just devastated.
Kerr's writing and world building is wonderful. I love the unique magic system. I love the depth of the characters. I love how it made me swoon, and cry, but also warmed my heart.
This was not how I wanted the story to end but it was the right way to end it. Even the authors note at the end made me cry!
Thank you for sharing this story with me. I will be telling all of my friends to read it.
Like where do I even start?! The woman empowerment and feminine rage was written so perfectly. The writing itself is so poetic and it’s like a gut punch with how much of an impact it has on my view of the world. This group of people that literally has everything stacked up against them, but were still willing to fight for what is right, I truly felt their resilience deep in my bones. I feel like not every book has to have an HEA in order to leave such a memorable impact. But the yearning between these two MCs cannot be outmatched. Lily and August’s love for each other will last for eternity even if they are lifetimes apart. I can’t say that I am not devastated because I AM shattered at this ending! But this is honestly such a beautiful story.
*I have received an arc and this is my honest opinion.*
