A wonderful walk down memory lane. I’m looking forward to the sequel with more stories- Allen Lazard, Breece Hall, Naz Long, George Niang , the new Cytown district, and my all time favorite Tyrese Haliburton.

I am nearly finished with this book and I'm a bit sad to say so. I love ISU and thought I knew all there was to know, this book taught me so much about Iowa State's history, best players, best games, and how the buildings and building names came to be. There are chapters about Jack Trice and Jack Trice Stadium, Hilton Magic and Hilton Coliseum, Fred Hoiberg, Johnny Orr, and so much more! My favorite chapter was about how Hilton Magic got started. 100 Things ISU Fans Should Know and Do Before They Die gives such a vivid description of being at the games, cheering and booing as necessary, and feeling the thrill of Hilton Coliseum or Jack Trice Stadium. Having been to lots of games myself, I can’t believe how well they capture Hilton’s loud atmosphere and the fun of tailgating before a football game! I won’t spoil any more but, I will leave you to read it for yourself.
