Law Maker: The Internationally Bestselling Billionaire Romance with High Stakes Drama and an Irresistible Protective Hero

Rate this book
Invisibility has been Clara’s go-to survival skill since childhood. She hides behind her thick glasses and heavy fringe, working as a teaching assistant at the exclusive Molton Prep, happy with her pupils and avoiding their posh parents.

Her one secret indulgence? Watching the gorgeous but intimidating aristocrat Lord Rafe Sterling, tipped to be one of the UK’s youngest judges, sweep into school to collect his son. Her crush on him is ridiculous. A girl with a background like hers should avoid him at all costs . . .

When Rafe finds out Miss Clara told his son his brain ‘works differently’, he bulldozes his way past the school rules to confront her, but is shocked by how much the shy, mousy woman affects him. He wants Clara very badly.

But Clara is not who she says she is. Rafe pushes Clara away, not realising that her fear runs deeper than simple shyness, not seeing the danger she’s in until it’s too late . . .

LAW MAKER is an opposites-attract, billionaire, age-gap, single-dad contemporary romance, perfect for fans of intense, protective heroes and heroines overcoming trauma to find their happily-ever-after.

Well worth the wait

This was an inspiring story of a young woman and the abuse she suffered (don’t want to spoil anything for other readers) and her daily courage.
Clara’s empathy with Ozzie was beautiful and then her interactions with his father were heartbreakingly touching.
I really enjoyed this story and now eagerly await Poppy’s one.
