I live in Morgan, Utah with my husband, beautiful daughter, and a couple of spoiled pups. If I'm not deeply involved in writing my next book, then I'm probably reading in the safety and quiet of my closet. I love yoga – which I now practice regularly – playing hide and seek with my daughter (only to have my hiding spots revealed by one of the pups), and I love Fruit by the Foot, Twizzlers and Peace Tea. These are great ways to bribe me into revealing secrets about what's to come.

I have an unhealthy obsession with Supernatural, The Walking Dead, and The Big Bang Theory. I also enjoy talking about them, so if you like them, too, come find me.

Writing has become an enormous part of my life and every book I write holds a special place in my heart. If you read one of my books, I hope you have the same experience.

When I first began this series I always wondered if Liam's story would be shared. Through out the novels it was incorporated but I needed more. I'm so GLAD that Jessica Wilde did indeed write composed Liam and Isabelle's story. I'm honored to be chosen for an Advanced Reading Copy because I'm not sure I could have waited ANY longer. One thing forsure is Jessica Wilde knows what she's doing. An outstanding author who creates such beautiful, REALISTIC, and loving novels. They have you captivated through out and definitely the one sitting kind of reads. There was no way I could put this novel down (even for a second). I love how it sequenced from then and now because it showed a conclusion for the rest of the characters. HOWEVER if there was a short novella in the works for the future .. I would not be OPPOSED to it!

"She isn't my -"
"Aye, of course not.

The STORY. WOW! Not only did Isabelle find HERSELF .. she found LOVE! That once in a lifetime kind of love. It wasn't the prettiest path that led there nevertheless it was worth it. There isn't a time limit on love and this was demonstrated in this novel. I found the pace to be a steady one and it flowed through out. Isabelle had to overcome demons and she did with the help of Liam. The dialogue was comical, heart wrenching, and quotable. The IRISH accent .. hands down one of my favorites! If you haven't heard don't you worry Jessica Wilde does a fantastic job incorporating it .. spot on! Most of the time I was reading with the accent in my head. I would say this novel is re-readable although to be honest this WHOLE series is. I highly recommend this whole series as it is without a doubt one of my favorites.

I wish I could paint our love
These moments and vibrant hues ..►♫

Warning you must read the first three books in this series to understand what the fourth book, Protector is about. Here is a brief rundown about the first three books:

In the first 3 books we are introduced to the children of William and Isabelle Brannock, and their lives as adults, and who they wind up loving. They are wonderful books! This book (4) however is the story of William (Liam Brannock) and how he met Isabelle and how she came to be his everything.

Series Order:

Book 1 - Leverage is the story of the youngest Brannock child, Aislinn 'Ash' Brannock and the only girl, who has been looked out for and cared for by her Mother and Father and loved, and adored but bullied and protected and driven crazy by her brothers Connall, the oldest brother and Gus, the next or middle child, who is every bit as bad as their older brother when it came to protecting his sister. Then we come to Lucas Shade, who is a neighbor child down the street that is being raised by an alcoholic for a mother, and the boys' best friend, and he also helps to look after Aislinn! Lucas is just as bad as the brothers, with the exception that he unknown to her brothers has loved her forever! When her mother died on her birthday the day she turned 17, the whole family was devastated, even Lucas who is truly a brother to them in every way that counts. When something bad happens all the family rally round to take care of the situation.

Book 2 - Conned is the story of Connal Brannock, the oldest son, who is a very serious dedicated cop, just like his father William, his adopted brother Lucas and his brother Gus. Con is very serious and matter of fact and is a heck of a detective just like his father. In this book we see him get an assignment to guard a girl in the witness protection program, and they come to mean so much more to each other. Con has brought her to his Dad's house to stay so she will be safe and after seeing all the love this family has for each other, it causes her to make a good decision about herself, as she realizes what a real family really means.

Book 3 - Missing is the story of Gus, the middle Brannock child who is also a detective and he is just as bad as Con and Lucas and also his father, when it comes to guarding his only baby sister Ash. He does not live in the same place as Ash, and his Father but he is a detective and his specialty is finding missing children. He also is the biggest joker of the family and always giving all of his siblings, including Luke a hard time. He has fallen in love with his neighbor, whom he has fought with for 6 months, until one day when he went to yell at her for all the loud music coming from her apartment and when Aiden -his neighbor, steps away from the door and he looks in and sees the spitting image of her, her niece, Aidy(her namesake), he also falls in love with the 5 year old spitting image of her aunt! Things happen that cause so much grief but he has the whole clan come to help him. Even the women! I loved this book hard!

Book 4 is called Protector, and now that his daughter and Lucas are going to have a baby, and his two sons are also happy with their women, who are to become their happily ever afters, and both sons feel the need to move back home and find a place near their Dad and sister, the time has finally come to tell his children about their mother and how they got together, and it is a touching story that will have you in tears, and feeling such sadness and at other times laughing so hard. In the first three books Isabelle is mentioned quite frequently and the love the family has and the manners that were instilled in all of them, especially her sons were taught to them by a mother anyone would be so lucky to have. She loved her children fiercely, as fiercely as she loved her "Liam", the man who saved her from a life of what would have been horrifying circumstances. After she passes away, Liam never looked at another woman, he loved her that much, and he visits her grave often, to talk to her and tell her about the children, and he tells his children when they say "I wish Mom were here", that she is there with all of them and she can be seen in all of them.

Liam tells his children and their significant others the story of how Isabelle came to Ireland when she was 19, on a month long vacation before she had to go home, and get married. From the minute Liam sees her, he falls in love with the most beautiful young woman he has ever set his eyes on, as he tells them. When Isabelle sees Liam for the first time she feels like the earth is shifting under her feet!

Liam also tells his children when she came to visit that summer that they became inseparable, and he found out about the abuse that Isabelle had suffered at the hands of her fiance. He also told them her parents would not see what she was going through, especially her mother who was a trophy wife and was not about to lose all that because her daughter was being difficult about who they wanted her to marry. Liam and his whole family, especially his aunt Maggie, rally around Liam to help him keep the girl he loved more than he ever loved anything safe. Things get really bad when her fiance shows up to force her home, but you will have to read and see what happens. As for Liam, his mind was made up and she was not going anywhere without him!

Thankfully it all ends well and this book is a great way to bring all the books together and put some closure on questions that were often thought about during the first 3 books. This book was so touching, and is a very emotional read, and I have to say although I loved the first three books so much, this one was the one that just caused me to love all of the books so much more. You need to invest in Kleenex, and I know you are going to feel so much reading this book, happiness, love between the the siblings, including Lucas, and you will feel the anger they all get at the injustice done in the first 3 books, and how they deal with it because of the way they are raised. The best thing happens at the end of the book and you will have to read and see what that is!

If you want to read a great series filled with love, a wonderful family and the trials and tribulations of being a cop, and how it affects a few generations of family down the line from Ireland to America, and how they deal with it, these are the books for you! There is love, hate, laughter, happiness, illegal dealings, wrong doings, horrible cases the men in the family have to deal with, evened out by all the love and hope for the future generation of Brannocks to come!

The most important thing I/you will see from this series is how the love between a man and a woman, creates a perfect new generation of children who will grow up to find their happily ever afters with a generation of their own, and how the love and strength and happiness of a single woman with the man that is her everything can make all of this happen. Thank you Jessica Wilde for this book, and I hope to see more from you as soon as possible! Your growth as a

Besides this series there are two other novels:

1 Our Time a wonderful story of second chances

2 Every One of Me, a touching story about Dissociative disorder, or Multiple Personality Disorder.

There is also a brand new series the author is working on right now- her first book just came out earlier this year and it is called Ricochet (A Rise and Fall Novel) Book 1. This book was awesome!

I gave Protector 5***** stars and would like to thank the author for another wonderful read! I would also like to say that this author has always written well, but as each book comes out you can see the growth in her writing, and I am amazed by that growth and also very happy to see that as I know 10 years from now I will still be reading her books!

Five stars~I loved Protector (The Brannock Siblings #4)! It was fabulous!

Since read Leverage, Conned, and Missing, I knew Liam's love toward Isabelle was so deep and beautiful that he still missed her so much after she passed away 17 years ago. This book brought us back to the day when Liam first saw Isabelle.

From their each child's memories, Isabelle was always a loving mother and always taught her children to look things from its bright sides. So it was difficult to imagine she had a difficult time before she met Liam: her own parents paid more attention to business and appearance than cared her feelings. They even forced her to marry some she didn't love. Before her marriage, she went to Ireland to enjoy her final freedom, then she met her soul mate, Liam.

From the beginning, their love developed slowly and bitter-sweetly because Isabelle had to go back to marry another man. While she and Liam struggled with their feelings toward each other, they couldn't help but fall in love with each other. I felt deeply for their struggle, how could you choose between your soulmate and your obligation to your family?

I couldn't help but got emotional when the story brought us back to the present, a world without Isabelle, a world Liam could only met her in their memories, and from his children's love. Oh, I wish Isabelle was still alive to witness her children find their soulmates.

Thanks, Jessica Wilde, for writing this wonderful series, making me feel the deep love between couples and among families, what a beautiful journey!

In Leverage, Lucas & Ash introduced us to a sweet love. In Conned, my heart melted for Con & Emily. In Missing, I fell hard for Gus & Aiden ( I love them both!). Now in Protector, we get to experience the story that started this wonderful family, Liam and Izzy. Izzy is the hidden heart of the family, always spoken of with much love and reverence. She passed before any of the first books, but was never forgotten. Liam is the head of the household, a secret pushover who mourns Izzy with every bit of his heart and soul. When you have 3 children (4 if you count Lucas) who are as strong and loving as these, you have to wonder about the parents.

Jessica WIlde once again takes us on the emotional ride of true love, heartbreak and loss. We know how Liam and Izzy end, having read the first 3 books in the series. This is their journey, the difficulties faced, the moments treasured. Protector shows us how love can cross oceans, defy odds, sway hearts and minds. This is a story about finding the person who fills your heart and makes everything else disappear. Bring tissues into a quiet room, with soft walls and time to be left alone. You'll need both. You may need a hug by the end. <3

"Oh, my beauty. Your mother melted when I burped."

As I've gone through each book in this series I have fallen in love with every character that Jessica Wilde has wrote about. But from the very beginning in Leverage when I got my first glimpse of Liam I declared he was my favorite and that I officially had a crush on an older man. Liam stole my breath from the first time he appeared. He has been my favorite through every single book even though I was just getting small parts of him. That is until Protector. I was antsy with anticipation to start Protector so that I could get more of the man that I fell head over heels for. Jessica Wilde did not disappoint.

"Tears don't belong on a face so beautiful."

**Sigh**

In Protector the story still continues with the family after Missing. Everything is still moving about as normal but we get flash backs of when Liam is remembering Isabelle/Izzy. We get to see the struggles they both went through when they first met so long ago in Ireland. The hardship that Izzy was so brave to pull herself out off. It was a struggle but she did it. The love that these two shared through this whole book is astonishing. To watch Liam remember his wife not only in the past but in the present brought happiness and tears to my eyes. It gave me full body chills. These two were a match made in heaven. She truly lives on in her kids and shines through with every action they do.

One of my favorite parts during Protector is when Ash went into labor.

The sound of liquid splashing made every pair of eyes drop down to the area of wood floor beneath Ash.

Gus and Con practically jumped away clinging to each other with expressions or horror on their faces.

"Umm, Ash. You just peed," Gus pointed out, looking pale and terrified. Liam wanted to smack him in the back of the head like everyone had over the years.

"It's not pee, you moron!" Ash shouted. "My water just broke."

Gus and Con never seem to disappoint in any book. They will make you laugh even with tears pouring down your face. Emily and Aiden are amazing in Protector too and I hope that the author decides to write more about this family so I can see where they end up.

"I wish with all my heart that I could have met her."

"You already have, love. Conall is a part of her and the way he loves you comes from Isabelle herself."

Protector had my emotions all over the place. One minute I would be laughing, then I would be crying and then smiling. I probably cried through at least half of this book. Yes, I said HALF so make sure to have tissues around. I'm probably just being a cry baby, but I really connected with this series and I couldn't help but feel all the emotions they did. This series is an attention grabbing, heart racing, soul searing, tear chasing, love soaring, family embracing kinda series.

Protector (fourth book in The Brannock Siblings series) by Jessica Wilde is truly amazing! The story continues with the whole family after the last book in the series while Liam Brannock is remembering when he met his Izzy back in Ireland. I loved hearing how Liam and Isabelle met and what they went through to be together!

Isabelle was running from a dangerous man that she is being forced to marry. Why would her parents put her through something like that? You would think it was under life threatening circumstances but it was all for business. She convinced her parents and fiancé, Christopher that she needs a month away in Ireland and then she would give up the fight to wed the man she hated so fiercely. But it was a trip to plan. To plan a way out of it all, which was soon forgotten when she met Liam Brannock.

William "Liam" Brannock was handsome and charming and made Isabelle feel something she never thought possible. Love. He and his family showed her how a family is supposed to be there for you and care about you. It was so different from her own family and upbringing. But now that she had fallen for Liam, how could she be with him when her parents' business relied on her marring the man from her nightmares? How could she get out of the arrangement and stay hidden from Christopher?

She suddenly discovers the truth behind the set up and how dangerous her fiancé really is. Can she risk Liam's safety and drag him further into the mess that is her life or will she have to leave the only man she has every loved to save her parents?

The struggles that they went through so long ago in Ireland to be together seemed impossible but they made it. Those occurrences made them realize how important it was to teach their children to love despite the problems they faced. Reading how Liam remembered his wife in the past and how he sees her everyday in the present through his children made me tear up! A love that pure is heart warming and something I've come to expect from Jessica Wilde's Brannock Men! Liam and Isabelle's story is compassionate, alluring, and full of love. If all that doesn't convince you to read it, I think Liam's Irish accent is reason enough!!!

4, "Oh my beauty, your mother melted when I burped." stars. That had to be one of my favorite lines from this book. This book is beginning of the beloved Brannock family, even though it is the fourth in the series. Don't read it first! It truly is meant to be the fourth book. The story is told through flashbacks as Liam contemplates how far his family has come as each of his children have begun to build families of their own.

By now, you know Lucas and Ash, Con and Emily, and Gus and Aiden. This is Liam's and Izzy's story. You'll know parts of it from the previous books, but in this one, you'll find out the rest of the story. You'll also reconnect with all the people you fell in love with from this family. Bonus? You get to meet the Brannock's from Ireland. Yep, Liam's family is very prominent in this book. And you'll definitely realize why Liam is who he is and why Izzy fell so quickly for him.

Throughout the book, you realize how deep and abiding the bond is between Liam and Izzy and how that bond has affected each of their children. You'll get glimpses of the true Izzy and why she remains such a special part of everyone's lives. As usual, the brothers are at their most aggravating selves and hilariously funny when they're sparring, verbally and physically. Jessica Wilde has a way of making her characters come alive within the pages while bringing the reader into the middle of their lives. The Brannock's have become one of my favorite books families.

I am so excited Jessica decided to end the series by going back and telling us the story of Liam and Isabelle. You just know from the start that Liam is an amazing father so of course he had to have been an amazing boyfriend/husband.

This story goes back and forth from the present to the past. As Liam sat and watched his kids get married , have babies and get engaged he thinks back and tells the story of how he met Isabelle and how he fell for her right away. We learn of her struggles and heartache during that time. We also get a glimpse of Liam and Isabelle together and of course a bit about her sickness. It was an emotional read all around. The past was heart wrenching and the present is bittersweet. I truly felt like I was there with them. The emotion was real , the events were true to life and I could feel the fear and uncertainty all around.

I love the Irish accent !! Isabelle's story was crazy. From the way her parents treated her , to the abuse , to the trip to Ireland and then the choices she made while there , what a rollercoaster. Liam really had to put in work to get his happiness and it sucks that despite the wonderful life they created , it ended way too soon. They definitely have an amazing angel watching over them and though I am sad to know it is over I was so happy to get a bit more from all the couples !!

Wow what an ending to this series. I can't believe this is the end to one of my favorite book families. I have fell in love with all of these characters in this series in some way or another. The Brannock family has made me laugh and they have made me cry.

But I am so happy to have gone on this journey with this family. I was also really happy that Mrs. Wilde ended with Liam's story. It was nice to get to know Ash, Con and Gus's dad and mother who has passed so much better.

I have always liked Liam in this series. He's been funny and you can tell how much he adores his children. But I fell in love with him in this book. It was nice to get to see him when he was younger and meet his wife. He was sweet, caring, fierce and protective.

It was nice to get to know Izzy a little bit better since she had already passed by the first book. She was a strong, independent, loving woman who was dealt a bad hand and figured way out of it.

I have to say I thought I loved Luke the most in this series. But after reading Protector and getting to know Liam better. I have to say I might just love him a little better than Luke.

I'm giving this book 4.5 stars out of 5 stars!!!!!!

Heartwarming and heartbreaking all at once. I want MORE of this couple, like every little detail of them. I love how they love each other and make each other laugh. They're best friends and lovers all rolled into one dang near perfect relationship.

She just wanted to escape before a life of misery...he had no idea he was looking for her. Their friendship was fast and so easy. You could tell that Liam and Izzy were absolutely meant to be together. I've never really seen a couple more perfect for each other.

I was so happy the author showed us Liam's family, that's a family that I could read about all day long. The love and kinship is amazing, it really made my heart happy to read about them. Family has your back, family will protect you...if you're mine, you're mine to protect. AND, the look at the present day Liam Brannock family and how it's growing...I just want MORE!

But, I really spent the book waiting for "the other shoe to drop" and, when it did, I held my breath waiting to see how it would resolve itself.

Definitely an emotional book, from hilarity to fear and all of it in between. Really good read.

I HATE that this was the last book to this series but it sure was a GREAT book. To have the gang together again and still throwing jibes at each other is amazing to see. They have so much fun together and you can see that they all love each other. Great Family Times!!! Liam is telling his children how he met their mother and it really is a touching story. To see what Isabelle went through was difficult and poor Liam just wanted her to stay with him. Its great to see the love they had between each other. It was really heart felt when they go to Isabelle's grave as a family and the words they say....OMG....it breaks your heart but also makes you want family ties like that. Such a great book and series. Don't miss reading it.

Love hate relationship

This book is not a standalone!

I loved the book. I loved the family. I loved the series. The one thing I hated about this book was knowing what the eventual end would be. Knowing that their HEA would end too soon. The author left no doubt about the love Izzy and Liam felt for each other. And Liam's Irish accent? I dare anyone to read his parts without using that accent in their head.

Thank you Ms. Wilde for a great series. Hoping to get to know about those Irish cousins and those wonderful accents!

Liam Brannock and Izzy - what can I say except for soul mates.
I wasn't sure I wanted to read this as I loved every other Brannock Sibling book, and throughout those I became familiar with Liam and Izzy. I didn't want a repeat in different POV. THAT IS NOT WHAT I GOT.
Jessica Wilde told a story of all encompassing love- in past and present. In reading about the love story and journey of these two lovers, you gained so much insight into each other Brannock and fell in love page after page. I have to say this may be my favorite in the series, I just felt completed after reading it.

I've read the entire series, but this is by far my favorite. The glimpse into the past & how Liam & Isabelle met. Their love story was so touching. The switch from the past & back to the present in the book was a smooth transition in my opinion. Great read!

“She was sad,
of course he had no doubt,
but her presence exuded happiness.”

I loved this book so much. It was emotional, sweet, adorable and I just loved it! Though this book was great I still needed more, I did not like that the book kept jumping between present and past! I was so excited that there was a book about Izzy and Liam because I really wanted to read about the love that was so inspiring for their children!

This book tell us how Isabelle Moore met Liam in Ireland. Isabelle did not have a great relationship with her family and she had an arranged mariage with an very abusive and dangerouse guy named Christopher. The only way she could get away from him was to make a deal with him. He let her go to Ireland for one month as long as she marries him when she goes back to America. She never planned to marry him and she thought her aunt could help her with all this.

“How crazy do I make you?
Insane. To the point I can’t decide if
I want to run from ye or kiss ye until
neither of us can breathe.”

Little did she know that she might feel safe again in a country so far from home. The moment Liam saw Isabelle, he knew she would change his life. He wanted to be the one to show her around Ireland and they become close friends that later turned to lovers! I love how strong Isabelle was, she never gave up on what she wanted but she also needed Liam to help her stop running from all the time for things that is actually good for her! She nearly gave up on her self and lots Liam but one person talked a lot of sense into her! Though I said I didn’t like that the book kept jumping between the past and present but did love seeing Ash and Luke they are just so adorable!! Remember people you can’t read this book if you haven’t read the first books in this series! Jessica did write this book with a lot of emotion!

“He was in love with Isabelle. So deeply in love that he couldn’t see past her. In just ten days he’d discovered so little about her life in America, but so much about her.”

It was sweet. This love story of the Brannock parentals was just that... sweet.

I had a little trouble with it, though. Liam, in the other books in the series, seems this larger-than-life, take-no-prisoners, badass cop who seriously kicks ass and takes names. Yes, he has a softer side, evidenced by his love for his his kids and his obvious love when he remembers his wife in the other books. But this one... His kick-ass persona just doesn't exist. Not that I don't adore him, I just kept waiting for the total badass to emerge-- the one I know him to be from the other books. It's possible that he was simply holding back to be what he sensed Izzy needed him to be, but if that's the case, we should have been privy to more of his internal battle of wanting to rip Christopher a new...I mean to shreads. And the Liam I had in my head certainly wouldn't have been a broody wollower after Izzy said no to his kiss.

Also, I couldn't understand why the story of what Izzy went through needed to be hidden from her children until now. It just wasn't as daunting as the earlier books made it seem.

Of course, this is just me being nitpicky again. This Liam just didn't seem consistent with what I pictured from the first three books. All in all, it was a great way to end the Brannock's story, even though at the end, the author promises more from this series. Minus a few errors (like a misused your instead of you're at the start of a chapter), I love the way the author switched from past to present. I loved the story and the catching up with the family. I loved to see Liam's interactions with his kids' significant others. By itself, without the previous books, it probably would have rated five stars from me.

Like having a book long epilogue/prologue! So great.

This was an excellent ending to a great series! Couldn't have asked for better for this family of characters we've come to love! Very well done.
