Darcy Sweet Mysteries #16

Til Death do Us Part

Rate this book
Spring is in the air in Misty Hollow. And so is Mystery... Once again.

As Darcy Sweet prepares for her upcoming wedding it should be the talk of the town. However, the discovery of human bones in a box overshadows that. The gossip mill is buzzing and it's all anyone can talk about.

Not Darcy though... She is just glad that this particular mystery is happening outside of Misty Hollow. She and Jon won't be getting wrapped up in this one. They'll be spending their time concentrating on their wedding plans.

Won’t that be a nice change?

I always love these books. They're a quick, light read with just enough mystery, suspense and romance. I like to compare it to watching a tv episode where most books are like watching a movie.

Finally Darcy & Jon's wedding ..... but not before a hoarder, boxes of bones, grave digging and a red herring! And my favourite feline Smudge makes an appearance too.
I felt this novel didn't have the depth of others but nonetheless holds it's own. These books are a holiday for my brain stewed on heavier police procedurals, and I really love them!

Loved it!!

Darcy fighting crime again but looking forward to her wedding. This story reminds us of how easy are children can go astray and how we need to be diligent in knowing what is going on. But also letting them face the consequences of their actions. But still making sure they know we love them.

Oh what a great story

So much going on. Who would want to dig up so many graves and hide the bones. And what was the coroner doing with all the bones? You'll have to read the story to find out. But never worry, Darcy and Jon are on top of things and eventually they will figure it all out.

Love Sweet enough to hurt your teeth.

I never thought grave robbers could play a part innmodern society. Guess anything is possible when you write. Darcy and Jon certainly step on a few toes this time.

The mystery this time was well developed and interesting. The wedding, fortunately, was short and sweet. I still feel uneasy about them having a hired killer living with them. She and her kid have got to go!

BONES- GRAVE ROBBING- ALL WEDDINGS HAVE SOME PROBLEM,

every few months i am waiting for KJ Emrick to publish another darcy sweet mystery - to catch up up - darcy is a bookstore owner who can see and communicate with ghosts- and solves murder mysteries with the help of her deceased great aunt millie , her slightly psychic cat smudge and her boyfriend now fiance jon who is a cop --- and now book 16 "Till death do us part" is out----- so darcy and jon are getting ready for their upcoming wedding- when boxes of bones are discovered in a garage outside of misty hollow-- so she will just be doing prewedding things right? wrong-- seems some of the bones were of residents of misty hollow and when jon is called in it is discovered someone has also been digging up graves -- soon darcy is consulting again on the case - will she figure out what someone is looking for? who the woman in the hat is- why is great aunt millie mad at smudge- will they get to have their wedding? -- once again i enjoyed this cozy romantic with a touch of magic series- and am waiting for the next one --so if you are looking for a quick light read with a few unexpected twists and turns this could be the book for you - but warning - you could get hooked on this series- BOOK 1 "Death comes to town - is still FREE on kindle ---

I liked that this wasn't the typical murder mystery.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

I absolutely LOVED this one! The Darcy Sweet series is one of my favorites - short sweet and light, but always interesting and always good. This is one I pre-ordered, and so it downloaded today when I was downloading other books. Just had to stop everything and read it RIGHTAWAYQUICK!!! Another highly readable book from the ever popular K.J. Emerick! Couldn't put it down, and had to get after the DH for interrupting me a time or two...

Can't wait for the next one! PLEASE write fast!

Another great installment in the a Darcy Sweet series.

I was so excited to see what happened next in Darcy and Jon's story that I was up until 1:30am 3/20 finishing this one.(how fitting since 3/20 is their wedding day. I really enjoyed every minute off this book and how the next book in the series comes out soon. There are several questions still unanswered.

Multiple deaths and a wedding

Finally the time has come for Darcy and John's wedding. But what fun with that be without some mystery. I loved the storyline but that's never an issue in this series. Twists and turns throughout the story keep you on edge. The big city cop versus the small town cop added character. The ending leaves you anticipating the next book.

Just as great as the others

Quick, easy read that builds off the other books in the series. You could pick this up and read it with out reading the others, also. Love to see the same characters in the series and how their lives have changed. Can't wait to read the next and am already sad that I only have 2 more books in the series to read!!

Excellent as always

I enjoyed this book very much. I don't think this author could write a bad book if she continues writing this way. I will anxiously await the next one. I am thrilled that they got married.

Love this one

I have this book a five start because I love all the Darcy Sweet books so far. Interesting stories that don't go on so long that I get bored. Can't wAit until the next one with the newlyweds.

Another fun read

These books just keep getting better. Nice little mystery though the end seemed a little rushed but I still enjoyed it.
