Matched Married and Marketed Book 4 and it was good book definitely enjoyed the whole series and I love the writing style!!

I misunderstood my workplace crush, and now his family thinks I’m his girlfriend.

Sweet enough to make you sigh, and clean enough to share with your grandma--no steamy scenes, no salty language, just sweet romance.

Here is my honest review -

Tessa's crush on George mentioned in Accidentally Matched with my pen pal #3 gets its own story in this book.

George's little sister, Eleanor, is getting married, he needs a girlfriends for all to social events that have mutated from the wedding and goes to Tessa to arrange someone to attend with him, oblivious of Tessa's feeling towards him

I love Callie after meeting her in Chapter 4 - she's a great friend, lively, sassy, fun, perfect soundingboard for Tessa.

There is a weird feel to the story when this reader realised Tessa assumes George wanted her to be his fake girlfriend but George just assumed Tessa had a stock of ladies to draw upon to find him a fake girlfriend. Then Tessa shows up at the dress fitting, fits right in but poor George will get blindsided when he is informed by his sister about Tessa "his girlfriend" - oh boy! - read up to Chapter 7

I found I had to read this story a couple of Chapters like 1 or 2 at a time then pause maybe as its the last book in this series or due to needing to process what was happening or not being communicated.

The first nine chapters do not show Tessa at home only George. For Tessa its been at work, a cafe, or Wedding activities like Dress shop and Ceremony locations.

Family dinner when George and Tessa realise there was a communication mistep but agree to temporary then skips then rest of the dinner - why? I wanted to see how the rest of it was navigated!

Interesting its in the same timeline as the previous 3 books in the series.

I like the easy pace of this story unfolding with communication misunderstanding up to the family dinner then each realising gradually how well paired they but their separate past personal relationships that have made them cautious then unveiling at a moderate pace how the barriers of their fake relationship gets more real beyond their easy work relation that gave them a good starting point.

George does not like change so does not know how to adjust without creating his own variable to explain it or files it away so he does not have to process it

Tessa chooses not to hope in a love relationship having a history of not being chosen though the book only hints at a past relationship, not mention of her immediate family only her best friend, Callie seems to her personal contact outside of work and George's family.

The lack of hope George and Tessa have of this relationship becoming real despite loving each other and just fitting and accepting who the other person is just sad at times - especially after Chapter 25 🤦‍♀️ I need a breather. Yikes!

George is frustrating in Chapter 27 - his reaction to Tessa calling him a friend makes no sense when he pulled back emotionally and physically from Tessa at the double date dinner with his sister in Chapter 26 and after Tessa looked after his dog the weekend he went away for work.

I really want the Prince's story mentioned in Chapter 40

Chapter 30 - "You never chose me, remember?" - Hopefully George files this statement by Tessa to reflect on later when his denial gets challenged by his sister or mother or by Noah to finally make him choose Tessa, she accepts who he is and adapts, works well with him at work and socially, does not want to change him or gain anything from him except love. - need a break from this upcoming train wreck will bring snacks and emotional support blanket to get through more chapters tomorrow.

I received a ARC copy of this book from the author and though a review wasn’t required, I wanted to offer my honest, voluntary impression of it.

Susie has written a series of three matches made by ERS. a matchmaking company. This book tells of two employees of that company who by a misunderstanding wind up perfectly suited for each other!

Tessa has had a crush on George for three years but he seems to not even notice her though they work together on projects. When he comes to her asking her to find him someone he can take with him to his sister’s upcoming wedding, she assumes he means her and is delighted to be his date. She hits it off with his sister and mother in all the preliminary get togethers until his mother invites her to a family dinner and it’s there George discovers his “date” is Tessa! When she realizes he wasn’t asking her she is devastated but agrees to continue through the wedding.

She helps him out of a tight spot for a few days while he’s away but when their relationship is questioned by an outside source he ends it with Tessa. Later he realizes his mistake and hopes it’s not too late to make amends with her.

This book was a joy to read as were the other three books whose subjects are covered in this one as they all run concurrently. It was nice to see that a matchmaking company actually found a perfect match with two employees when one finally opened his eyes to what was in front of him the whole time!

You’ll enjoy Susie’s stories! They are full of heart and you experience the hope, devastation and hope and joy again as things play out! Her stories make you glad you learned how to read so you can embrace what you’ve read and bask in the feelings it generates!

I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend this book as one I know you’ll enjoy and I do recommend the three books she’s written referenced herein. I have read them all and I loved them just like this one! Each story reads like something someone somewhere has already experienced! They are very relatable in my opinion!

You won’t go wrong reading Susie’s stories believe me!

George is the mastermind behind the analytics of Elite Relationship Solutions. He’s also a secret billionaire. Tessa’s job at ERP is client intake, discovering what the needs of the client are, and using analytics to find the best match. Tessa has also been longing for George for three years, not that he’s ever noticed, because Tessa is the consummate professional at work.

Things get murky when George comes to Tessa and says he needs a girlfriend for the events up to and including his sister’s wedding, and says he needs her help. She thinks he means that he specifically wants her to be his fake girlfriend. He thinks she’s going to vet candidates to find his fake girlfriend.

By the time these two realize that they’ve gotten their wires crossed, Tessa is firmly entrenched in friendships with George’s sister and mother. Drama ensues.

George needs to get out of his own head. Sure, he’s analytical, but he’s never had a relationship that ended well, and in his experience, every woman he’s dated has wanted to change him. (Seriously, one girlfriend thought she could just rearrange his books by color without even asking? Who DOES that?)

So, George does some dumb things, one of which is not doing anything. And Tessa isn’t completely innocent in that, either. It’s basically a breakdown of communication, but this is a sweet romance, and you’re going to get the happy ending.

I adored George and Tessa, and rooted for them vocally while I was reading. (Don’t worry, I work from home, so no one was scandalized by my outbursts.) If you enjoy friends to lovers, workplace romance, and excitable golden retrievers, get this book now.

This is a great story about George and Tessa. They both work for a matchmaking company and work together using a system George created to match people together. When George’s sister Eleanor is getting married and he needs a plus 1 he goes to Tessa to get her help to accomplish that. Tessa misunderstands and takes it upon herself to become his girlfriend. George’s whole family likes Tessa all the while he has no idea it’s Tessa they are talking about. George develops feelings for Tessa and worries about what their employer is going to say about them being a couple. For the several reasons George decides it is better if they break up and Tessa goes along with it. George finally opens up about his feelings for Tessa to his boss expecting the worst and is surprised with the outcome. At the wedding things come to a head. After everything their company gets a very important client and the two are busy working to find a match for this man. I loved the ending of this story. It was a bit different than what I expected. Great writing.

This book can be read as a standalone, or in publication order. I have read many of this author's prior books and have loved them all. They are a light, easy read.
ERS finally gets their own book.

People who don't communicate much to get to know each other and to create romantic feelings often use non-verbal signs, like noticing and analyzing every micro visual movement and its patterns, much like the protagonists in this story. The first part is entertaining and amusing. Clearing up the fake girlfriend misunderstanding isn't traumatic. Their behavior reading is brilliant, but their analysis of the reasons at one point is wrong, which leads to them drifting apart, and memories of old hurts contribute as well.
It's quite sad, especially for the adorable dog missing the one he attached to so quickly. A nice reconciliation occurs when they are brave enough and with understanding.
A little insight from a matchmaking agency's perspective.
I like the story with all the subtle and emotionally messy parts.

But when George tells Tessa he needs one, she thinks he is asking her to be his fake girlfriend—not for her to find him one. And Tessa accepts— because he is also her workplace crush.

Tessa shows up for George over and over in family events leading up to the wedding, but neither is prepared to face the truth— they are falling for each other. Both think the feeling is one sided. Both are scared. But both are falling in love— hard.

This workplace crush, fake dating, real feelings story is a light hearted, closed door romance full of filing away feelings, facts, and observations about each other. It was a fun read and I can’t wait to read more of her books

This book was a great addition to a series I have really enjoyed reading. This story, however, focuses on two employees of the matchmaking company we have come to love. And how well matched they are. Tessa is adorable and her crush in George is so sweet. And George is so cute in his obliviousness. The interactions we get to see between them and her with his family are so heartwarming and endearing. They may have been awkward together but it was obvious they were meant to be in my opinion. I could see the spark immediately. They just couldn’t. And watching their connection change and go though it’s own trials had me turning pages so quickly to see what was going to happen with them. This book was so adorable and felt like such a genuine relationship. Each story in this series has felt real and relatable, and this one was no exception.

Tessa and George's story was phenomenal! These two work together, both analytical and both have been burned by love. Tessa is awesome. While analytical, she is also amazing at reading people, organizing, and setting everyone at ease. George is so analytical that he measures everything in metrics. After a misunderstanding, these two are thrown together during the planning of his sister's wedding. Meant for optics only, the boundary begins to blur, as they do, and real feelings get thrown into the mix. What happens when analytics don't fit what's happening? This was such a sweet, feel-good book that I couldn't put it down. I was laughing and crying and praying!!! This book was absolutely wonderful ❤️

George Maddox works at ERS (Elite Relationship Solutions) Tessa works there too.
When George needs a plus one for his sister's wedding he asks Tessa to help him out. Thinking he means her to help by being his plus one she happily agrees, as she has secretly fancied him for years.
And so it begins, mixed signals and conversations lead to more than either expected.
Loved this story, George smart as a whip when it came to the algorithm couldn't see his perfect match standing right beside him. And as with all things there are ups and downs along the road to happiness and George and Tessa took that journey and I went along with them.
Great story, great series, I am a fan.

George is very techy minded, he seems to be neurodiverse, he set up a dating app, after people are matched his company monitor the couple until they are either settled or separated, usually settled. He's very interested and absorbed in algorithms.
His mother and sister are trying to get him to have a date for her wedding, he asks Tessa, his righthand person, to sort something out, due to a misunderstanding and the fact that she has feelings for him, she steps in. She enjoys being part of a family and her feelings become stronger, but she isn't sure how George feels, she can see how he handles situations and himself but is unsure of his feelings for her.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story of George & Tessa. Two key employees of a company that makes matches for high profile and little time clients. One thing I loved: George talks to his dog like a person. He loves algorithms (but not feelings, too many variables). Margaret’s compliment to Tessa, "George is very careful about the people he lets into his life. What happens when “I may have forgotten to account for myself as a variable.”?
Is “Love … is not a system you can optimize. It is something you feel safe enough to keep choosing. Present tense, continuous, and without a projected end date.” True or false?

Is a sweet fake dating, opposites attract, work place romance with no cliffhanger.
One of the lines I really like --- That's the whole thing, isn't it. Someone who sees the problem and fixes it without needing credit, without needing you to witness it. Someone who does it because they care. ----
What's Eleanor up to? What's Noah up to? What's Margaret up to? Will they break up or realize they love each other? These and other questions will all be answered.
I loved Tessa and George's story and I'm sure you will too. I've loved everyone of her books that I've read and I can't wait to read her next book.

The perfect date, especially since you're the person who wrote the algorithms for ERS-Elite Relationships Solutions, a matchmaking service for wealthy people who need a marriage for stability and many business reasons.

Another delightful book in this series with a slightly different perspective. Wonderful characters, sweet wedding planning events, and another perfect match!

Ugh I love this!!! I immediately thought of 27 dresses when I saw Tessa and George. The vibe kinda matched too. Tessa just wanted to be chosen. She didn’t want to be the convenient choice.

George needs a date for his sisters wedding and through a miscommunication Tessa ends up being that date. He’s analytical - she sees romance. Through fake dates and moments they become the thing they work for.

I love how all these stories are woven through each other. They’re stand alone reads- but also won’t spoil the other books with their intertwine.

I really enjoyed Tessa and George's story. I received this as an ARC but liked it enough I would buy it. Tessa and George have quite the different way of handling things. I loved seeing them each grow and learn. Tessa knows George so well from watching and interacting with him for quite awhile but still learns more. Highly recommend!

I love this series!

I love a good marriage-of-convenience trope, so the other books in the series have been right up my alley. Since this was about fake dating, I wasn’t sure that I would like it as well, but it was good, too. I hope this is not the last of the series, because Susie Heart is doing a great job of the marriage-of-convenience trope.

It was cute. I like it but the epilogues/ending were disappointing. A year later and there's no proposal, wedding, etc. The HEA fell flat.
