I've read the first 4 stories in this collection and each delivers a top notch reading experience. If you're a Captain Hawklin veteran, these serve as supplements to the Classic 1930s adventures. If you're new to this universe it is a great starting point and I'd be surprised if you don't move to the novels afterwards. Each tale either adds a new detail to the world as a whole or to the main characters from the books. All I can say is, if you have the novels, you need this collection. If you're enjoying this collection, but haven't read one of the novels, now is a great time to start. I plan to continue reading these stories between the books because you can't have too much Hawklin in your life!

A collection of short stories from Charles F. Millhouse, following the adventures of his pulp hero Captain Stephen Hawklin, pilot, inventor and adventurer, and his allies Hardy and Oz. I enjoyed these.
