Please note: a version of this book was previously released under the title ‘The Spanking Room’. It has been significantly modified to integrate into the ‘Tales from The Wild Side’ series, but strong similarities still exist with the original version.
From classroom to The Wild Side, and a welcome to remember.
Dylan Sinclair has just turned eighteen and thought his schooldays were behind him. But his old school uniform will still be needed as he’s landed a job at The Wild Side - London’s raunchiest gay nightclub, where extremely wealthy and powerful men enjoy games of sexual debauchery. Dylan’s going to play the club’s naughty public schoolboy, who must be punished by the members for his various misdemeanours – caning being his speciality.
This is the story of how he is discovered, unwittingly auditioned alongside his unscrupulous teacher, trained for the job by an enigmatic Irishman who drives him crazy in a multitude of ways, and then makes his debut on the main stage of the club in a spanking extravaganza never to be forgotten.
It’s the start of an adventure for teenager Dylan, and an introduction to the characters who will shape his life in the coming years: masters and slaves; workers at the club; friends and enemies; plus a multitude of lovers… including that Irishman who drives him crazy – the fabulous Paddy McGuire.
Jack Brighton is a British author who specialises in gay erotica with a BDSM slant. His books are widely available on all major e-book and specialist erotica sites, published by his company – Firm Hand Books. Jack was born and raised in the west of Scotland then moved to the south of England after graduating from university, living first in London before moving to the sanity of Brighton. Having forsaken the stress of working in London’s finance sector to become a full time author, Jack now spends much of his time on the small Mediterranean island of Gozo where he lives with his partner. Jack also writes under the pen names:
Fergie Boy Jack’s early erotica works were produced for a web site called Gay Boy Books, where he wrote under the name Fergie Boy. Subsequently this material was brought under the Firm Hand Books banner and is now available through the same channels as Jack’s later work. The stories are highly erotic but not specifically BDSM in nature – although in certain books like ‘Preparing the Way’ and ‘Spanked at Last’ the evolution into Jack Brighton can be seen. Fans of Jack’s work might find it interesting to see where he has his literary roots by checking out some of the Fergie Boy books. Jack no longer writes under the Fergie Boy name. However, he does write under...
Tom Farrell Having published over twenty books by mid 2011, and created a strong niche in the gay BDSM market, Jack decided to expand his reach once again. Not wishing to dilute the Jack Brighton body of work and perhaps confuse his loyal readers, or re-invoke Fergie Boy, a new pen name was created to write under. This was Tom Farrell. Under the banner 'Flaming Hot', Tom Farrell's books fall into two categories: 'Flaming Hot Gay Erotica' and 'Flaming Hot Gay BDSM'. The distinction is hopefully very clear. Both collections are softer than Jack Brighton's normal work - the 'Erotica' collection much more so. But it is still Jack Brighton - his ideas and his style. So if you like Jack's books then why not check some of Tom Farrell's work out.
Dylan is used and abused and loves every moment of it. I loved how Paddy manipulated Dylan into to doing the one thing he thought he would not do. After days of being aroused by Paddy I don't think there was anything Dylan would have said no to. This was another hot and sexy porn read. Exactly what I love about Jack Brighton!
The characters were so familiar and I realised I have read another book in this series. Ah, yes, it makes sense to read in chronological order, but hey, I am known to read on the wild side (pun intended). Anyway, this is the beginning and now the next book makes much more sense. Loved it. Want to know more about Paddy and the mysterious owner of the club McLeod.
Well I thought the book was about the teacher who seemed a lot more fun by the way so major disappointment there. It was good nonetheless, I may be having some trouble with the writing style or something cause I keep posing after a few chapters.....also Dylan said "lord" wayyyyy too many times.. Ugh!!!
Totally porn-tastic. Decently written, unlike most of these types of books. I find myself intrigued by Paddy McGuire, but I'm not sure if I'm intrigued enough to pay $3.99 for the next book. :-D
