TJ Logan is an award-winning author of romantic suspense anchored by strong themes of family, honor, and loyalty. Her writing journey began in 2012, when a bunch of strange voices popped into her head.

Hoping to exorcise the craziness, she started typing, which simply ushered in more—as if she’d cracked open some sort of portal for fictional characters to charge through. And boy did they ever!

She grew up in a military family, lived all over the country, and was surrounded by five brothers … and, shockingly, lived to tell about it. She was also a key member of a team that managed a secret program for one of the world’s top defense companies. All of these things have given TJ an interesting perspective on life. And every bit of it goes into her writing!

Family, Honor, and Loyalty aren’t just words in a tagline to TJ. They are everything.

This book was so bittersweet. The last book in this series but hopefully not the last time we see our beloved characters.

Eddie and Lucia have a past that neither of them can’t forget. When he is called home there worlds collide after many years and old feelings resurface.

The whole team of warriors are there as the past comes back to haunt them. With lots of action and suspense this one is a top notch winner.

“Eddie, you are the air I breathe, each beat of my heart, and my safe place in a storm.

Now that our hero’s all got there HEA we’re heading into a new series next and I’m sure it’s gonna knock our socks off.

I have mixed feelings about this book. I love all the characters especially Isabella, what a brave girl.
After reading all of the OSI books. I feel like my friends are moving away. I read about so many adventures and people meeting their better half’s, even if it’s years later, for instance with Eddie and Lucia.
Having your one true love return after years, would shake anyone up not Lucia is gutsy and stood her ground and didn’t just drop at some man’s feet.
The action kept going all throughout the story, I wasn’t expecting the ending to end as it did. So yay!

I want to thank TJ Logan for an ARC copy for my honest review. All I can say is when does the next series start.

Eddie ran for home to help from a frantic call. I absolutely loved Eddie & Lucia's second chance love story and so will you. You have to love her daughter Isabella too. The team comes to help him as soon as they knew. Thanks, TJ this story with its amazing end to an absolutely well loved series. Wish it didn't have to end. Hopefully we will still see these characters again.

This is another hit for TJ Logan. I was completely engaged from page one until the final page. The plot was and moved at a perfect pace. The characters were compelling and written realistically. Intrigue, suspense, action and romance are elements that make this book a great read. One small issue, I had to keep reminding myself how old Isabella was supposed to be, because many times her behavior was closer to 3-4 years younger. I am voluntarily offering my personal opinion. No one has asked me, or required me, to submit a review.

Book Review: This is the 6th and final book of this series. Eddie Calabretta is the newest person in the Dark Ops series and has past history with Lucia Santos. Before coming to the Dark OPs Team, Eddie used to go by another name when he was deep undercover trying to take down a cartel team. Now the cartels are taking down anyone associated with Eddie, including Lucia and her daughter, because of what happened to one of the cartels family member that was killed.
When the cartels try to take Eddie’s little sister, he comes back and helps the Dark Ops Team take down the cartels once and for all. The cartels also try to grab Lucias daughter, but don’t succeed and Eddie going to protect those around him including Lucia and her daughter.
After Eddie and his team take down the cartel and rescue the girls they did kidnap, Eddie and Lucia clear the air and reconnect.
Neither Eddie nor Lucia stopped caring about each other, and had a miscommunication when they stopped seeing each other. Their love for each other is awesome and second chance love is the best.
Another great book by TJ Logan

I loved Lucia and Eddie's second chance romance, and it was fun catching up with the Dark Ops team, especially Calliope—she's the best! I can't wait for the spin-off series, Iron Shield Collective. I'm looking forward to Caine's story!

Sadly this is the last book in this brilliant series but I am now looking forward to a new spin off series. TJ Logan has constructed a team of such wonderful characters, each with their own inspiring story, this is Eddie Calabretta's story.
Eddie was a member of the OSI Special Ops team, a team brought together to hunt and destroy the cartels involved in human trafficking.
Eddie's temper was combustible when a phone call from home informed him that someone had tried to kidnap his twelve year old sister, his family lived in a quiet neighbourhood, could this be coincidence ?
Going home meant that Eddie was going to come into contact with his first and only love, Lucia Santos, the girl who had broken his heart, but it was Lucia who had helped save his sister.
Eddie was soon to learn that three more girls were missing from San Salsillo, this had to be Rodrigo Munoz seeking revenge, Eddie had worked deep undercover for the Munoz cartel and had been instrumental in the death of Rodrigo's brother.
As this story unfolds it becomes clear that Lucia and her eight year old daughter, Isabella are targets once the cartel learned of Eddie and Lucia's history. Eddie's fantastic team were there for him, they would all strive to keep Lucia and Isabella safe. This was to be an arduous journey fraught with danger, the spark that never really died between Lucia and Eddie reignited even more brightly, the spark was now combustible.
This is a beautifully told story full of action and suspense, a story of good over evil, a story of team loyalty and support, a story of happy families but most of all a story of a lost love that is found.
I received a free copy of this book and my review is totally voluntary.

Dangerous Enforcer
OSI Dark Ops
Book Six

The main characters are Eduardo (Eddie) Calabretta and Lucia Santos. Two young people madly in love until photos appear online of Lucia and another man. Eddie feels betrayed and believes Lucia’s actions have made him look like a fool. He rushes to join to military and cuts all ties with Lucia.

Their story begins again 17 plus years later, with Violetta Calabretta, Eddie’s 12-year-old sister, and an attempted kidnapping. Eddie returns home to San Salsillo to find the people responsible for Violetta’s attempted kidnapping and the kidnapping of four other children. His past meets his present when he is reunited with Lucia and her eight-year-old daughter, Isabella. I also enjoyed the inclusion of Caleb O’Halleran in this story.

Once it is determined that it is the Muñoz cartel, led by Rodrigo Muñoz, that has targeted Eddie’s family for revenge, the OSI Dark Ops team mobilizes to assist Eddie. Has Eddie’s past, in the NSA, come back to hurt his family?

We are teased with the name of the next book series and the main character (Iron Shield Collective and Caine Bennett) but only as a mention that Cole called Caine and gave him Eddie’s telephone number to arrange for private protection.

Will Eddie be able to keep his family, Lucia and Isabella safe? Will the NSA traitor who gave up Eddie’s identity be identified and captured? Will the past be forgiven and will Eddie and Lucia get their HEA?

While this book has everything - revenge, kidnapping, second chances, family - it is also the last book in this series and all the characters have become family and will be missed. Unless they show up in the next series which I am already looking forward to reading.

What a great way to wrap up this series! This story is about Eddie and Lucia who dated in the past but broke up. If you read the last OSI book, you know that at the end someone tries to abduct a member of his family. As this book begins, Eddie arrives back home and realizes that his identity has been compromised and that is why someone tried to kidnap his family member.

After the team goes off on a couple of missions, he is able to come back and continue researching the abductions - because there are other little girls in the town that have been abducted. In the midst of this, someone throws a brick through the window of Lucia’s daughter and Eddie moves in to protect them because the enemy has found out that he used to date her.

The story develops from there. Lucia and Eddie have true life conflict they have to work through if they are going to be together and in the midst of that someone is after Lucia and her daughter and that makes for a quick moving story that will keep you engaged. Overall, a great end to this series. I did give it four stars instead of five because the beginning – where Eddie arrives to help after the abduction attempt but then leaves again and is gone for a couple of missions (that are just summarized) and then comes back again was a little clunky and slowed down the beginning of the book for me. Once the team is all there to investigate, things pick up and it was an easy go from there.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. This is my true and honest opinion.

I hope that readers enjoy this book as much I have with wonderful characters and a plot that held me riveted
This is the final book in this series and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment and I have to say that I will be left looking forward to the next books by this author. Eddie is a member of the OSI Special Ops team and they have all been working tremendously hard to capture those involved in a human trafficking ring.
When Eddie had discovered that his sister had nearly been kidnapped, the thought of his twelve-year-old sister being in this situation had totally horrified him and his family and they have done everything they possibly can to ensure these individuals are brought to justice.
Lucia Santos a girl that he has not seen since he was young helps to find his sister and they soon lean that there are more girls that are also missing from San Salsillo, Rodrigo Munoz is seeking revenge and Eddie had been working undercover when Rodrigo’s brother had been killed and he blamed Eddie for this and is seeking retribution.
I have to say that this was a simply lovely wonderful read the characters and the plot were written absolutely beautifully and I guarantee that once you begin reading you will not put the book dow till you reach the end and discover the final income.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

I love that this book brings the whole team in! What a wonderful way to wrap up such a great series and give Eddie and Lucia their story as well. Fortunately for all of us, there is a spinoff series on the way.

I just loved Isabella as a character. This little girl will steal your heart and melt even the strong defenders all around her.

I love second chance romances and they are even better when you have characters like Eddie and Lucia who need one so desperately. Eddie's past and misunderstandings from their past are what is standing in their way but this duo is one that you will be rooting for to find their way back to each other and keep Isabella safe.

The team dynamics in this one was my favorite part of the story. I enjoyed the bonds between them and the way they operate like a second family. The loyalty is unwavering in the field and in their personal lives. They keep each other in check, joke around to keep things a little lighter and offer a patient ear when someone on the team is hurting.

The story itself pulled me in from the start. I felt the danger of a little girl almost kidnapped and I felt the fear in the scene on the playground. The suspense is balanced and present throughout to keep you on the edge of your seat reading until the final page.

I'm looking forward to the next series by this author!

When Eddie's little sister is almost kidnapped, he rushes home to comfort his mother and check things out. It's not until he gets home that he finds out his ex, Lucia helped to save his little sister. When he realizes that his past work has put his those he loves in danger, he has to break the case and catch to ghost of his past.
Lucia can't believe that the kidnapping are happenings in their small town. Now her ex's sister as well as her own daughter are both targets of the kidnappers. Looks like they'll have no choice but to be around each other.
What they didn't expect was to face their own past, rediscovering each other and fall in love all over again.
And Eddie has to keep them close because the danger is very real, very close and VERY determined to have his revenge.
Revenge, second chance love, action, found family, kidnapping. One thing for sure and two things for certain. There's no honor among thieves and never come between a mother and her child.
This is the last book in this series but don't worry, it's just as thrilling with a race to the HEA.
This review is my opinion and is not AI generated.

This is the last book in this series and it was a fantastic one to end the series. Eddie Calabretta is getting ready to PT with with the team and he receives a frantic call from his mother. Someone has just tried to kidnap his youngest sister from the front yard. Luna gets him on a flight to Texas. With the teams help, they discover it is the Munoz cartel who are seeking revenge on his family. His undercover identity from his former employer the NSA has been exposed. Now they are hunting everyone in his family, including his first love Lucia and her daughter. Lucia fights the protection from Eddie, until that choice is taken from her after a threat is made against them. Four girls are now missing and OSI are the hunters and protectors, along with Eddie's brother-in-law with the sheriff's department. This is a fast moving book with a lot of action and suspense. But Eddie, Lucia, along with Isabella find their way to be together. A great book to end this series.

I am already looking forward to the next series. I did receive an ARC copy from Ms. Logan, and the opinions here are my own.

I have already grown to love the characters in this series and am sad that this is the final book in the series. However, I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will appear in another series. Special Dark Ops Eddie, returns home when his youngest sister was almost abducted. He definitely didn’t expect to see Lucia. They had a past and they both remain angry with the other. Now Lucia has a young daughter, and the danger has followed Eddie , and the people he cares about has become the targeted. He now personally vows to keep Lucia and eight year old Isabella safe, because he never stopped loving Lucia and regardless of how she feels, he will do whatever it takes. I loved reading about their past, and their reconnection, along with her little girl who can win anyone’s heart. The past has a way of showing up and causing havoc and heartbreak, but with determination , maybe the past can be laid to rest, forever.

Dangerous Enforcer

Eddie really messed up and left Lucia behind when they were teens. He believed pictures on social media that were staged when Lucia was roofied at a party. But, he never stopped loving her.

When his little sister is almost kidnapped from the front yard of their family home, Eddie heads home and is re-united with Lucia. When a drug cartel targets Lucia and her daughter, the full force of the Dark Ops team is focused on bringing down the head of the cartel.

Through it all, Eddie and Lucia find their way back to each other. TJ Logan once again brings us heart pounding suspense, a soul rending love story, and a nice conclusion to a story arc that brought an end to the cartel that terrorized most of the Dark OPs series.

TJ Logan pulls you in to her stories and you just can’t put it down until the very last page. And she always leaves you craving the next story. 15/10 recommend!

T.J. Logan's Dangerous Enforcer provides a great entertaining ending for the OSI Dark Ops series!

This book features Lucia Santos and Eddie Calabretta who have a past where misunderstandings, hurt feelings and not communicating led to heartache, but with the recent attempted kidnappings they get a second chance to face the past and acknowledge their undying love for each other.

I appreciate the fast paced action, suspense, plot twists, a second chance at love, an adorable eight year old who won me over easily with her innocence and big heart, and the hot spicy connection that was never truly extinguished. I would be remiss if I didn't also mention the great characters of the OSI Dark Ops team who compliment the story with their own protectiveness, bravery, humor and camaraderie as they work together to find and end the dangerous threats coming after Eddie and those he loves.

Thank you to T.J. Logan for the free copy and I'm voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Intense, fast paced with danger at every turn. I really appreciated the humor that little Isabella brought. Lucia and Eddie both owned up to their mistakes and it brings home the point that young love is rarely smooth sailing. Enjoyed the whole team being together and Mark, Eddie's brother-in-law. You could feel the family vibes which brought some joy and closeness. This is written from both POVs and from the perps point. The steamy waited till later in the book which I appreciated. I got the plot and could skip the steam, ha. I did know where the perp was going to show, the story lead you to it but I appreciate how it played out, that was a surprise. Thank you for the advanced copy. I freely share my honest thoughts and opinions. #DangerousEnforcer #OSIDarkOps #T.J.Logan TJLCreativeWorksLLC #Booksprout

A great end to the series! Eddie was formerly undercover with the Munoz cartel. He blew his cover in order to save someone. The oldest Munoz brother who was slated to take over dies as a result. The cartel never forgets and Eddie's whole family become targets of the younger brother's vengeance. Eddie returns to Texas with his team to provide protection and an end to the cartel once and for all. The protection extends to Lucia, a third grade teacher, and his only love. A misunderstanding pulled them apart years ago, but now she and her daughter are in danger as well. The whole team rallies to find and end the cartel, as Lucia and Eddie find their way back through the misunderstandings and hurt, to each other. He needs to keep them safe, or he has no life to look forward to.

Eddie's past is out to make him pay and they aren't going directly at him but those close to him including children. I loved seeing Eddie return home and see his family who are just awesome and know that hell hath no fury like and OSI Dark Ops operator and his team. Eddie and Lucia definitely needed to work through what happened to break them up and his protective side really came out.
Lucia did frustrate me at times with her contradictions of wanting to keep her daughter safe, but not wanting do what's needed to actually be best to keep them safe thankfully with some nudging and a close call she sees reason.
This has great tension and suspense as well as a perfect second chance along with danger some good laughs and best of all a fantastic found family who's always there for each other.

Dangerous Enforcer is the 6th and final book in the OSI Dark Ops series. I recommend reading them in order for all the background on the team and their mission, although there are recaps of who's who as they all make cameo appearances. Lucia and Eddie's story is fast-paced action, interspersed with tender family moments and a great secondary 'love story' with Lucia's daughter at the center. I felt that the second-chance-at-romance part between Lucia and Eddie was a bit short-changed. It seemed far too easy to resolve decades-old pain. But overall, it's an engaging and entertaining read with a wonderful HEA ending and a great finale for the O'Halleran/OSI Dark Ops world. I received an early copy and am leaving this review voluntarily and honestly.

Dangerous Enforcer delivers a second chance for Eddie and Lucia—one they grab with both hands. Despite the years apart and lingering bitterness, I really enjoyed how their past is addressed quickly and without hesitation, allowing their connection to move forward.

Their love reignites fast and strong, pulling you straight back into their dynamic. Danger remains a constant presence, keeping the team on edge as they scramble to stay ahead.

Isabella adds a bright spark of joy and entertainment, balancing out the tension.

As the story unfolds, everything builds toward a satisfying conclusion where the danger is finally handled, and the future is set right—with the people who matter most standing side by side.

This is a gripping second chance story. Eddie hears that someone has tried to kidnap his little sister, so he rushes home only to discover that an old enemy is behind it. Years ago, his cover was blown while investigating a cartel, and now the cartel’s leader is out for revenge. To make matters worse, his former love and her daughter are also in danger. Eddie needs to focus on protecting everyone, but unresolved business with Lucia complicates things. Lucia isn’t ready for this grown-up Eddie—it’s because of him that she and her daughter are at risk, yet her lingering feelings keep getting in the way. Can Eddie keep them safe? And will they be able to move past their history to find their way back to each other?

Eddie Calabretta’s undercover work in a cartel has placed his family in danger. Returning to his hometown, where several girls have gone missing, puts him in contact with Lucia Santos, the woman he once loved but who betrayed him, and her young daughter. When Lucia’s life and that of her daughter are on the line, they’re taken to a safe house. With a killer out for revenge after them because of Eddie’s past, Eddie will do whatever it takes to keep them safe. He realizes he still has feelings for Lucia and hopes for a second chance.

This is such an awesome series! Twists, turns, fast-paced action.

I am so sad to see this series end, but what a way to go out! The tension in this book is off the charts from the very first chapter. Watching Eddie and Lucia navigate their painful past and realising that they still love one another while fighting to save their families had me glued to the pages especially when Eddie realises that it his career that is putting a target on his family.

The stakes were incredibly high, and I absolutely loved the fierce "don't mess with a mother" energy throughout the story; those scenes were everything. If you love second-chance romance mixed with high-stakes, breathless suspense, this is a must-read. A perfect, thrilling race to the HEA!

Dangerous Enforcer is an exciting, suspenseful story. Eddie comes home to the small town in Texas, he grew up in, when an attempted kidnapping affects his family directly. Some young girls have been kidnapped, so the rest of the OSI operatives come into town to help Eddie and the local police department. Eddie becomes reaquainted with his high school girlfriend, Lucia, and her daughter, Isabella. Dangerous Enforcer has a great storyline and the characters are interesting and supportive. It's heartwarming to see how Eddie, Lucia and Isabella come together at last.

I didn’t want to put this book down. I don’t advise you to read this during your lunch break because you won’t want to stop once your break is over! I was looking forward to read about what Edie had in store for him and I was not disappointed. I liked reading about him and Lucia, but I really melted at how he was with Lucia’s daughter, Isabella. The whole special ops team melted my heart with how they were with Isabella and all the kids they rescue.
I know this is the last book of this series/team, but I really hope this is not the last that we read about these characters. I don’t want their stores to end. I want to keep reading about them.

Brilliant read. Friction, action and loads of action.

Undercover operative Eddie comes back to town but the Cartel is after him and targeting those he loves, but when they find out about his ex girlfriend they go after her instead.

I enjoyed the connection and the friction between the two. That connection grows slowly and I enjoyed that aspect of the book.

Beautifully written. It is disappointing is the last in this series but I'm keen to see what is next to come. I've always admired the quality of this author's books and this was just a great. Can't wait for more.

I absolutely loved Eddie’s love story with Lucia and her daughter, Isabella. Their relationship felt genuine and heartfelt, making it easy to become invested in their journey. The ending was heart-pounding and had me on the edge of my seat as a dangerous drug lord closed in on the people Eddie loves.

While this is listed as the final book in the OSI Dark Ops series, I’m still holding out hope that there might be more to come. In the meantime, I’ll be waiting—with as much patience as I can manage—for T.J. Logan’s next series.
