Let’s just say these two are playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse. Sterling wants control craves it.Zane is just as stubborn and also loves control and wants to tear Sterling down peg by peg!!
Sterling and Zane have chemistry right from the beginning. But when Zane says touch him and 💀 I Swooned 🫠. If that’s not love I don’t want it in a book of course!

Honestly, this hooked me from day one.
This story centers around two MMC’s, Sterling and Zane, and their dynamic completely pulled me in. Sterling starts off, believing he already has everything figured out, but the moment Zane enters his life, that certainty begins to unravel in the best way. Zane is everything Sterling didn’t think he wanted…but ends up being exactly what he needed.
What really stood out to me was Zane‘s protectiveness, it never felt overbearing or forced, just deeply grounded and intentional in all the right ways. The way their relationship develops feels natural, layered, and emotional without losing that edge of tension that keeps you turning pages.
If you love character-driven romances with strong emotional payoff and a dynamic that challenges both characters to grow this one is absolutely worth picking up.

I was drawn in at MM, but as soon as I started reading this book I was HOOKED! I couldn’t put this book down! There was no messing about, no slow burn, it really went all in right away. And Oh My God I loved it!

May 7, 2026I had the opportunity to alpha read Sin and Shackles, and I was hooked from the very first chapter.
The dynamic between Sterling and Zane stood out immediately the banter, shifting power play, and constant tension between them made their relationship incredibly engaging to follow. I especially enjoyed watching how their connection evolved as the story progressed. Zane’s possessive, slightly unhinged energy added another compelling layer to their dynamic, and the spice definitely lives up to the tension between them. The emotional pull and toxic attachment that develops between the characters made their journey even more gripping, and the ending felt especially well deserved.
