This book was stupid. The male was a billionaire with no power. For some one who is supposed to be smart he was dumb. The female was annoying as hell, she could not make up her mind to save her life. Don't waste your time.
I don't think this book was bad overall, I'm just really really not fond of the narrative style of writing as opposed to actual dialogue. Throughout most of the book, we're being told what the characters said instead of just letting the characters speak for themselves. For example, instead of something like "What would you like for dinner?" we get, so and so asked what she'd like for dinner. And a few times is one thing, when nearly every conversation plays out like that it just gets redundant. That sort of annoyed me. I also don't feel like there was any real chemistry between the characters and I felt like his "dark side" was pretty lame. I was expecting an Esmerelda's House of Pain type of thing, but we get lightweight stalker habits. The hot and cold with Tiffany also got on my last nerve. She really didn't know what she wanted and was a little immature about it. Overall, this was not really my cup of tea and I found myself skipping the overdone sex scenes.
I'm kind of disappointed... Tiffany; I was expecting her to be a strong female lead and she ended up annoying me. TO ME she came of as immature, weak and annoying.
The plot was mediocre, the drama reminded me of high school. IMO.
Not my cup of tea. I will check out another book by this author, see if it's better.
This was an okay read, it kept my attention. The storyline wasn't as predictable at first. However, as I got more into the content I started to guess the outcome. The intimate portions were rather steamy for sure, I'd recommend it if you can read it for free.
It's a little deceiving...it sets u up as this big dark mystery around the billionaire...your expectations are set so high....and when the secret comes out....you become underwhelmed....it's a secret...but not as mind blowing as u were led to believe.
I don't get why heroine was so upset with him when s h e was the 1 who slept with him on the first date. What did she really expect. She got what she paid for. And then to hold him to a higher standard than she had for herself. Outside of that the book was ok.
I'm feeling a bit indifferent about this book. I liked it but there were some parts where I literally fooled my eyes. Part of the plot was completely unbelievable but it was a pretty decent read overall.
