loved!
I never thought KG could make me like the Dads, but my gosh, she has a talent with her characters! I really enjoyed this and seeing some of the stuff we have already seen from their POVs, as well as get some more backstory from all of them.

I was unsure of how I would feel about the dad's having their own story and possible redemption arc considering some of the horrible things they've done throughout this Chaos Universe (looking at you daddy Matteo) but I was so surprised but how emotional this made me. I already love Klaus (IYKYK) but I was ready to still have such disdain for the other two. But what I love about this is that KG doesn't make excuses for their actions, but she does humanize them -- which goes to show just how talented this author really is!
There's definitely a lot of revelations and even more bread crumbs to follow too! In true KG fashion nothing is at it seems, and I can't wait until EVERYTHING comes to light, and those involved know the truth. It's going to be explosive, y'all!

I love seeing about all the dads and behind the scenes. I think I caught some little bread crumbs and I can’t wait to see what’s coming next. I wanna see what’s Bianca’s future is going to look like and how the whole chaosverse unfolds. Definitely needed this book.

If you have been reading Chaos Universe, then you will want to continue with this book as it fills in so many questions and gives you a look at the OG’s of Chaos Universe Matteo, Alessio and my favorite Klaus. There is even more subtle secrets revealed within this universe and ties back to all the series. Also, those who love to tandem read, you could possibly do this with When we Fall Part two, as these timelines fall together. But, you will need to read Mayfair and Kings of Bolton prior and it is important to read Separate Sins before Shattered Lies, which just released (review coming soon). I didn’t even realize how much I needed this book to see certain things from a different perspective and it will clear up a lot of theories. Plus, I found a new found love for the OG’s of Chaos Universe and I cannot wait for more. I’m not much for large series or universes, however, K.G. Reuss pull me in from the first line of every book and by the end I’m drooling at the mouth wanting more, so much so that the feel of anticipation consumes me the closer we get to a new release. So, yes, you will find yourself as addicted as I am. Truly I don’t think there is another author who can cross series like this where everything fits into its place and combines together flawless with so much plot and twist. She puts so much work into every single book.

I wasn’t sure when starting this book that I would like it, but I’m so glad I read it! It’s a great addition to the CHAOS universe and shows readers that not everything is black and white

This was interesting. I’ve never read a book series where the author really details this whole world to the point where there’s no stone unturned. It’s dark and gritty yet fascinating seeing how all these players have their roles. Every book that’s added has played such a key role in the story line.
This book was a great read and I’m glad it was added. Seeing into the heads of the OGs really makes you think and changes everything you thought you knew and how much you’re willing to accept down the line.

Separate Sins was SUCH a great addition to the Chaos Universe! It's a lot of the same events from When We Fall, but we're getting it from the perspective of the OG Kings - Matteo, Alessio, & Klaus. So much new information, different angles, and more breadcrumbs to follow.
KG has this phenomenal way of making even some of the most unredeemable-seeming characters almost... lovable? I mean, some of the things that Matteo (and even Alessio) have done in past books are absolutely horrendous, but getting more of their backstory and reasonings and actual emotions made me feel a bit sympathetic towards them. They've all really lived awful lives and gone through such traumatic things - not such a shocker that they make the decisions that they do sometimes.
And Klaus... 😍 I was already sweet on Klaus, but I just ADORE him and Rosie, and I hope that he sticks around with her throughout the Horsemen of Ruin series. He is so in love with her, and she really humanizes him and makes him better.
This was such great insight into the OG Kings, and this whole universe is such an incredibly wild ride - I'm anxiously awaiting the next small piece of the story. 🖤

This book is a great behind-the-scenes view of When We Fall Part Two. It also serves as a way of getting to know Matteo, Alessio, and Klaus better, and be in their pov. I loved getting to see what exactly these key players were doing during that time and just how they pulled certain things off.
I definitely grew to love Matteo more with this book. Actually being in his mindset and seeing how he feels changed my mind about him. Still think he's been a jerk and took things too far here and there though. I'm still on the fence with Alessio... I don't know what it is, but I just don't care for him. I thought getting his pov would help, but it really didn't. Klaus was a surprise. I wasn't expecting such genuine feelings from him. His reactions and emotions were shocking at times. I still don't see him being long-term for Rosalie, though. I just can't imagine him living with the horsemen and getting along like a family. Just seems awkward, tense, and weird.
I have to say, though, that Frank was the funniest thing in this book! Every scene with him had me laughing. We definitely need a novella with him like A Day With Frank where we follow him around all day and see what he gets up to. It would be hilarious!

This was such a great addition to the Chaos Universe and honestly the perfect kind of filler book. It didn't feel unnecessary at all. instead, it gave us exactly what we’ve been craving while still pushing the story forward. I'm so excited for the next one!
I was completely hooked from the start and couldn't put it down. I've been dying to get more insight into these three men. Getting a deeper look into their dynamic, their past, and how they think made this feel so worth it.
The humour, as always, was perfectly balanced with the dark tone of the chaos universe, which is something I love about K.G.'s writing. It keeps things engaging without taking away from the intensity.
Matteo especially surprised me. I didn't expect him to become my favourite here, but finally getting inside his head completely changed how I see him. That deeper character insight was definitely a highlight.
I absolutely devoured this book and now I'm even more excited (and slightly impatient) to see what happens next.

Reading order perplexities...
I waited for all of the Mayfair University series to be written before I even read book one due to my frustrations with the Bolten series releases. I timed to finish Mayfair just as what I assume to be the last of the Bolten U was set to be released - which was today...
Color me shocked that once again, the book did not release. Yet the first book of the Horsemen's adulting series (taking us 6 yrs into the future from the timeline of this story) is already published ? ?
I would think that wrapping up Bolten U and Chapel Crest with Asylum's book and Specter's would be helpful before getting into the future with Enzo & Co. I can appreciate the impossible task of keeping a credible timeline while merging all series in the Chaos Universe... but "trusting the process" is hard sometimes! There must be 20 K.G. Reuss books on Amazon right now with only placeholder publication dates and a Pre-Order Now link right above it. So it bears repeating;

I never thought that I would see the day, in the amazing web of KG Reuss chaos universe, that I would swoon over three men I thought were villains in the story. This book was the back story POV the readers craved, and got so much more than expected.
Matteo DeSantis, Klaus Seely and Allesio Valentino are the OG three names spoken so by The Kings and Horseman with venom. This is their story, and I found that I was rooting for the "bad guys". I want them to get their HEA, but this isn't that. It DOES however delve into the behind the scene details that truly give so much eye opening closure, and connects so many dots along the way. As always, the queen of cliffys does not disappoint, and we are left to trust the process. Truly Brilliant, and a kindle melting must read!!

I’m screaming!!
I’ve got daddy fever!
This book had me feeling some different type of way about the dads 😩
I really do hope that Klaus gets to join Rosalie, Evan and Anson and whoever else she ends up with- I’ve got a soft spot for daddy Klaus now
Matteo surprised me and I did grow to like him- he’s not so bad- has he made bad decisions? Yes but I think he feels bad about them and is learning and I hope he can maybe survive and find happiness although I think he would rather just die
Alessio still pisses me off but it seems like he’s working on it and maybe he’s not so bad- maybe he can be happy again and fix his relationship with his sons and be with Indigo too
K.G as always- you never disappoint. I can’t wait to see what’s next

what is going on with this universe like seriously.
i feel like kg added too many characters and their connections between stories and now we get this mess of crossovers that honestly are a waste of time.
so now we can expect klaus to be apart of rosalie’s harem and matteo’s apart of bianca’s? WHAT!? it just seems so odd and out there, making new character personality’s and new villains for the story’s; for bianca it was already matteo but in this book we first learn about matteo’s father? i feel she’s making stuff up to prolong the story and i know there’s nothing wrong with that but it’s just like come on???
im not sure if i like how this universe is heading :////

This was a 5 star read for me. It's on the same timeline as WWF2. This book is in the POV's of Matteo De Santis, Klaus Seeley and Alessio Valentino - the OG Kings.
K.G. weaves a story like no other. The crumbs she left behind for us to find, the information we were given and us delving into the minds of OG will pull you in for an all around fun experience. It leaves you excited for the next books up and desperately wanting more. (I swear she puts narcotics in her books, they're so addicting.) The comedic timing she placed within this book was everything and will have you kicking your feet while laughing.

Separate Sins in a part of the Chaos Universe and gives us a better insight into Klaus, Alessio and Matteo, glimpses of their past and why they are who they are. Absolutely love getting to see the other sides of Klaus, Alessio and Matteo. We also get a better look into other Chaos Universe characters such as Santino, Sylar, Evan, Indigo, Bianca, Anson and Rosalie. This book answers a lot of questions that came from the Mayfair University and Kings Of Bolton series, as well as creating more questions. This is an absolute must read for the Chaos Universe. Can’t wait to see what’s to come for the Chaos Universe and all of our beloved characters.

Ok seriously, who knew Seperate Sins was a book that we needed? Separate Sins is from Matteo, Alessio and Klaus point of view and all I can say is after reading this book I really don't dislike them anymore. I was already get soft on Matteo and Klaus but this book really had me seeing a different side of them. From Matteo’s traumatic childhood and his evil scheming parents and Alesio not letting go of his love then to Klaus getting another chance. But other than that this book is the in-between from When We Fall part 2 going into Dark Little Reign. If you're tied into the Chaos Universe then you have to read this book.

Devastating and addicting
Omfg what can I say.... she's done it again lol this book was perfect if you've been following the chaos universe this book filled in a lot of the gaps that didn't make sense. I loved this book and am even more stoked for the horsemen's adult book. Chapel crest and kings of bolten. It's a crazy ride.... if you haven't read anything in the chaos universe you need to start with the horsemen's highschool books in ruin and then kings and then chapel crest

Wow. Just...Wow.
Be prepared to have everything you've ever known and thought about Matteos crew changed in the blink of an eye. I never hated Matteos crew but I definitely had a strong dislike for alot of their behavior. Welllllllll now I get it, boy oh boy are they something else. Im obsessed with them and now I need more of them. If youre a Chaos Universe lover (or even if youre not) you need to read this book! I have loved every single thing this author has put out and I am still not disappointed, if possible I love her even more! Do yourself a favor and read this book. If you haven't read anything from this author, start at the very beginning with In Ruins (Black Falls High), then read this whole universe of books! You'll be glad you did.

She did it again!
Bowing down to the incredible K.G. I swear I will read every single thing she writes. Period. This was such a great book that gave 3 “OG” unlikable characters and showed so much more behind the scenes for them. So much more from the Chaos Universe makes sense after reading this and I can’t wait for the next installment! If you haven’t checked out her entire Chaos Universe, DO IT, and buckle up, it’s a crazy but incredible ride! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

100% worth the lack of sleep!
I couldn't put this down! Had real life adulting I was supposed to do and struggled immensely to get them done. I wont lie. When I started this universe I hated these characters so much! But now I feel everything but hate for these 3 devilishly broken sexy MEN. As per usual the queen of chaos has outdone herself. This book made me laugh and cry and I cannot wait for what comes next!

Trail of tears
This is Matteo, Alessio and Klaus’s pov from the Chaos Universe. This gives us insight on some former characters, bloodlines and answers we were seeking. This book was beautiful. So beautiful. The three tough kings that ruled are shown in a different light. My heart aches for all of them. And what little breadcrumbs KG threw out disguised as Sylar’s weirdness. Yeah let’s see if you guessed it right!

Finally
You finally get to see Matteo, Alessio, and Klaus pov in the series. You really get to see a different side to each man and them finding women and what future may come. Matteo finds out a big truth and to see how he will deal with that. Klaus is so different when it comes to Rosalie but will he really take his second chance with his boys. Alessio shows is unhinged side when it comes to indigo. He seems to be trying with his son.

Amazing!!!
Reuss did it again by creating a masterpiece that was hard to put down. You can see what the OG’s have gone through that made them who they are. We got to see behind the curtain and now we wait for the masterpiece to be completed. The next few books to come out will help to complete the story and it will be gut wrenching with heartbreak mixed in and then you get the happiness! Thank you KG for creating a world that is vast and twisted and beautifully written!!!

Separate Sins, and did they ever sin, deliciously. I’ve always been drawn to the villains in a story, and it’s even better when an author flips the script and makes them more compelling. After reading about Klaus and Alessio, I am seriously craving more of their stories.
Matteo is important to the plot, but is not my favorite (at least not yet). Maybe the last Bolton book will change that. I’m really excited to read more about the original kings- especially Klaus. He is just… chefs kiss.

Absolutely Loved
I loved this so freaking much! All the tie ins and different vantage points from characters that you thought you knew and hated only to erase and absolutely adore and wish the only best for them. The Chaos Universe is brilliant and the accompanying side stories are just top notch. I cannot wait to see what comes next and how my heart will break and be mended back together

Another amazing book from KG
I don’t know how she did it but KG managed to make me actually like Matteo. I have hated him since she first Introduced him in the Kings of Bolten series. But I should have trusted the process and realized that he wasn’t one of the Bad guys who deserved to die. I loved getting to know the OG guys better and seeing them grow and try to find their happiness.

This book is a great filler of some questions from the rest of the chaos universe!!!! I am so excited to see what happens next in this crazy world! All these twists and turns I absolutely love KGs writing and the way she incorporates everyone! All I can say to anyone that is in for the ride of this universe is to trust the process!

absolutely DEVOURED this book!!
Such an amazing book, as always! Answered lots of questions but still left us with some more that are definitely bringing me back for the rest of the books! I can’t recommend this author enough! So excited to have gotten this behind the scenes look at the OGs of the Chaos Universe and honestly changed my perspective on them so much.
